What an amazing restaurant!! The owner is right in with the whole team working hard. The fries are the best. Burger is huge and super flavorful. Attentive staff! Prices are spot on. Definitely a new favorite when in Tehachapi!!

Amazing food! We tapped out half way through our delicious meal! Definitely will be going back for more! So many decisions to choose from! Definitely recommend to others! The cheesecakes are to die for! Hands down the best I've ever had!

We were just passing through and found the Steampunk Cafe & Grill while searching for places online. We had the Hummus Plate appetizer, the Maple Whiskey Shrimp, and the Vegan burger. First off, the Flatbread from the hummus plate was fresh and hot, it was soooooo good! The sauce the shrimp came in was so delicious my husband was tempted to drink it, and my Vegan burger was on POINT! The service was super friendly and the facility was very clean. I highly recommend trying this place out. We will be back next time we drive through.

One of the best places I’ve ever had breakfast! It’s very rare to get delicious food, reasonable prices, generous portions, a great atmosphere, and friendly staff all at the same place, but this place had it all. I ordered my eggs a specific way, and they got them absolutely spot on. The ingredients were fresh, and the chef was a master. The biscuits and gravy were delicious, the chicken fried steak was one of the best I’ve ever had, and though I initially had reservations about “spinach quinoa” hashbrowns, you never would be able to tell that there was spinach or quinoa there. They were normal and delicious. The toast was fresh, The coffee was good, the waitress was attentive and never failed to give us a refill, and they had flavored creamers, which is always a little special treat for me. I wish I lived in Tehachapi, so I could go here on a weekly basis.

Really good food and pretty good atmosphere. Good for families but I did hear one of the songs had a cus word. But other than that a delightful place💯

My favorite place to visit when I’m in town! Best mimosas ever! I love the New Mexico salad with blackened salmon, the hummus and pita plate is really good too and let me not forget the staff is amazing always GREAT SERVICE !! I am always happy to come here

I had the most delicious breakfast here yesterday! The owner, Karen is so delightful. The food was fresh and hot! The best hashbrowns I have ever had! I even ordered my favorite pie for Christmas, Banana Cream! Yay, I can't wait!

Me, my wife, and son stopped here for some breakfast. I had an omelet which was delicious. My son had chicken and waffles with country gravey which also was delicious. Wife had a chicken sandwich. We also had fried pickles that where spear cut, pretty tasty. The place had a cozy atmosphere and our waitress was very friendly, courteous, and the service was quick even though they were short staffed and fairly busy. I would definitely eat there again.

Came here with my little boy for breakfast. Right away the waitress was perfect! Felt like home. The waitress had tons of personality and just way friendly. The decor is fun for sure. I had the chicken fried steak and it was super awesome. The hash browns were crispy and cooked perfectly. I recommend this place to people who enjoy a great relaxing atmosphere and have some time to chill. 10/10 for me!

Food was enjoyable. They have a lot of variety from breakfast items to burgers,and even a small selection of Sake based cocktails. It wasn't too busy and our server was responsive. I would recommend this restaurant.

This was an awesome place to eat. I had the ultimate grilled cheese. So yummy.

Passing thru the area & opted for Steampunk, mostly out of curiosity about the name, but also the variety shown on their online menu.

Tried the Hot Heads & I can honestly say I've never eaten as much cauliflower - the Siracha added a nice kick. Balance of meal was pretty straight-forward with a small pizza. Very tasty & didn't take very long to bake. Then after staring at the desserts for the better part of the meal, opted for the Oreo cheesecake. Don't know if these are made in-house or not, but very good.

Server was very upbeat & attentive. While the actual location is a bit odd, Steampunk is certainly worth a stop.

I'm dining alone which is usually awkward because the wait staff either forget you or purposefully put your order in last...definitely wasnt the case here! Each staff member was awesome & went above & beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Drink suggestion was perfect & the burger was so tasty!!! Its funny, at one point after ordering my food I was wishing I could bottle the mouthwatering smell coming from the kitchen. I wanted to ask what the dish was (for future ordering purposes lol) but I got sidetracked by the decor...love it! My drink comes out within minutes, followed shortly by my meal which I discovered was that AMAZING smell! Haha. Such a great atmosphere & the wait staff was super personable & seem happy to work here. If I could give them 10 stars I would! This place deserves more traffic #JackBlack #JasonMomoa your new diner, it doesn't disappoint!

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. I ordered a baked potatoe and fresh steamed vegetables. The potato was not mushy served with cheese, bacon,moons and butter. They forgot the onions. I’m sure they would have brought them if i had asked. The veggies were adente so basically everything was perfect!

Went here for the first time with a friend for breakfast. Such a sweetly unique place. If you’re looking for a chain restaurant this isn’t it. If you want a place that you are treated like a Queen for 2 hours you’ve found your kingdom. Yes 2 hour meal. This place was so enchanting we didn’t want to leave. The owner named Karen ( don’t judge the name) was the most welcoming and friendly person. She made small talk and I felt like we were fast friends. The food was incredible. My friend had an omelette that was huge and tasted amazing. I had a bagel with capers and smoked salmon. The salmon was delicious. The bagels are made fresh in house, as is everything I suspect. I had to pretend I didn’t see the dessert counter because OMG! Nothing should be that tempting. This place just isn’t to fill your tummy it’s an experience. Love, love it!
