TODAY I HEARD THROUGH THE NEWS ON TV THAT THE CITY OF MANHATTAN BEACH POLICE DEPARTMENT HAS LOST A OFFICER A FAMILY MEMBER WE ARE DEEPLY SADDENED FOR YOUR LOSS AND TO HIS FAMILY AT HOME OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO TO YOU MAY HE REST IN PEACE AND MAY GOD HAVE HIM BYE HIS SIDE 🙏🏻

This review is for officer Shah of Manhattan Beach. I met him the other day while visiting an elderly client of mine. I received a ticket for parking in the red outside of my client's home, which is fine, I won't park there again. I believe that officer Shah sets a standard for leadership and service in our community. There's a fine balance between being an authority figure and being a member of our small, warm hearted beach community. We've all met that rude parking attendant, who thinks their badge is some type of excuse to be unkind. But officer Shah is one who honors the integrity of his badge while behaving like a perfect gentleman. His eloquent and respectfull speech exemplifies the kind of people we need more of, not just in uniform but in this world.

This incredibly clean, modern police department building is host to everything from the officers themselves to community events revolving around safety, crime prevention and more. All of my interactions with the officers have been pleasant and helpful. I've had to go to the Animal Control area to pick up and drop off traps, and have received excellent service.

Pro tip - if parking in front of the MBPD area is full, try under ground or on the side facing the rear of Shade Hotel.

May 2019: I had an issue at the local Arco- (review is there if you want to see it) I called the police about it- Officer Presgraves #294 came to help handle the issue- and he resolved it. Thank you officer for helping me out. & 2 years ago I reviewed the following: They always are there for my family when we need them. Even at the building, staff is patient and helpful.

the staff absolutely saved my trip. I lost my passport at Manhattan Beach, some kid founded it and gave it to a local police officer, next day I got my passport back at this PD. Otherwise, I have a huge problem with leaving the country.

So thrilled that Lt. Enriquiz made Captain - he is a great leader and a solid police officer!

Do something about the Indian Rent A Cop from your station.
Can hardly understand what he says, all I know is he is not smart enough to be in IT or, doesn't have enough courage or determination to go to Police Academy and become a Police Officer. But become a Rent A Cop and make an ass out of himself. Lol!

Police are nice

I have lived here for 50 years and in all that time i have never seen drivers so out of control; speeders ( Rosecrans with cars flying at 60mph at least!) and cars not stopping for pedestrians in crosswalks. Where is the police? They used to be all over the city.

Long wait for an officer to help me with a simple police report.

Cop stole my e-cig when he randomly searched me this morning.
