The bakery smells so good when you walk in and the jazz music sets the vibe. Ernesto was able to listen to the vision of my Dad’s cake and make it even more perfect. My dad’s going to love it. And he’s so welcoming and generous. I even bought a cookie and it was so good for my sweet tooth.

We ordered a cake for a wedding shower and it was BEAUTIFUL. They were so nice and made a custom box for our tiered cake. I bought a 9 inch fondant cake and dozen cupcakes in Wichita and paid the same as this gorgeous tiered cake (that served easily triple the other). Just buy their cake!

We had a great experience choosing a birthday cake at Lido. We were unsure what to order, but they were very kind and patient with us and took the time to explain all the different flavors and sizes. We ended up buy the Almond Roca cake because two employees said it was their favorite. The cake was fantastic and a huge hit at the party. They wrote Happy Birthday on the cake too. While we were there, we bought a few other pastries to try and also a slice of the Almond Roca cake. EVERYTHING was soooo good! Definitely worthy of 5 stars!! Also, there was plenty of parking in front of the store. We found this place by asking locals what their favorite bakery is and Lido was mentioned many times. It is now our family’s favorite too!

Service was very informative, friendly and accommodating. The cakes we tried were the Key Lime (just the right level of tangy, with excellent crust), the Berries and Cream (cream was light, berries were fresh), as well as the Old Fashioned Chocolate (thick and buttery while having a clean aftertaste).

Needed a last minute cake for my husband’s birthday and came in to see Ernesto and walked out of Lido with the most gorgeous double fudge cake! We had 40 guests for dinner and everyone raves about the quality of the chocolate shavings and frosting and the rich flavor of the cake and filling! I can’t believe I almost picked up a grocery store cake - so glad a co-worker suggested Lido! I will be sure to order in advance in the future - definitely will be back and will send all my friends!

Randomly spotted this place while out on a walk. Tried a slice of coconut cake and a lemon bar. OH. MY. GAWD. this place is amazing!!!! What a fantastic find with great prices and mouth watering delicious treats!

Highly recommend this bakery for a custom cake. I provided an explanation and some inspiration photos and they did a better job than I could have imagined. The cake was delicious too. Not overly sweet and not too dry. Will be ordering cakes from this bakery in the future.

Great fine desserts in Manhattan Beach. They have been here for 19 years and their coffee is amazing.

So good! Best cakes in LA if you like traditional rich European style cakes. Single slices are generous and a whole cake in the smallest size can easily serve 12. Everything is very tasty!

We had our wedding cake make here and it was stunning and delicious. They created a beautiful design that was romantic and expertly crafted. Not to mention that we had NO LEFTOVER CAKE at our wedding, which says volumes about how tasty it was. Guests were eating second slices it was so good!
