Busy office but efficient. Staff always courteous and helpful especially when their lobby fills up with pets needs. Dr Anderson is exceptional and all other vet Drs that are available when Dr Anderson is not available for emergency reasons.

They have always treated me great. I spent a lot of time there recently, dealing with end of life care for my puppy, and saw how many people are impatient, ungrateful, and rude, and they never once showed anything but understanding and compassion to anyone. They took care of my baby, and took the time to explain, and comfort me, for the decisions I needed to make. Their love and compassion for their patients was impossible to miss. Thank you.

We have 4 dogs and unfortunately spend way too much time here, but we feel fortunate they are here. We count on Tehachapi vets to take care of our pets and they've always been there for us.

We have taken Gaara here since he was a kitten as he is my trouble child. They've always treated him lovingly and never berated me for the amount of visits and injuries he's had. He's just a rambunctious boy. But they know him by name and are so friendly. The best part is they've worked with me. I have not always been the best off and they have allowed me to make payments on life saving medication and procedures for my little guy. I will always thank them for their service. They're amazing!

Staff is friendly and attentive Kain's Doctor, Allyson Hannan is great, she calls me with updates.

The clinic is busy long waiting times. However, once your dog is checked in you are able to go home and wait.

I refuse to take my boys anywhere else. They have always gotten the best care here, the ladies at the desk are always so sweet and kind, and Dr.Hannan is an amazing veterinarian and even tho usually when I go its because my dogs are sick, its always nice to see her and she really cares about the animals, Grizzly and Wally really appreciate everyones help ❤

Super quick and easy walk-in experience to have puppy vaccinations done! The team is caring and attentive even when the office is busy!

My little shelter puppy was so sick when I brought him here. They saw me right away and helped me nurse him back to health! My little puppy is now a big boy and I can’t thank them enough. They were very emotionally supportive when it wasn’t looking too good as well. Very kind folks over there.

New to this community, our Pyrenees needed an emergency vet visit. This practice was excellent in every way. The only difficulty is that they are booked solid due to a shortage of vets in this town and it is hard to get a quick appointment. Must plan ahead when possible. But we love this hospital and will be coming back whenever needed for our two Pyrenees and two shepherds.

They are very good at communicating with you prior to our appointment.

We won't go anywhere else! We always get what we feel is the best service, and friendly staff every time. We trust our beloved pets(members of our family) to their care.

They helped our dog greatly with no notice in an emergency. We thought she had a terrible seizure. They quickly ran all the necessary tests to make sure she was OK and kept us informed the whole way. They were very kind when telling us what had happened and how to make sure it didn't happen again. They were really great with her.

Best ever. They take walk-ins for locals or if you are already established with them. You have to leave your pet for few hours but they take excellent care of them and are very efficient at communicating progress/diagnosis. The best is if your pet needs to be euthanized they do not make you have to get an appointment days later like most . You can just bring in your pet during business hours and they accommodate you and your pet . I personally would not go anywhere else .

Super busy -- they weren't kidding when they warned me on the phone that the place usually fills up by 10:00 a.m. It looked like they weren't going to be able to squeeze in our boy and his sudden problem, but they did. The reception staff (special shout out to Chelsea) is very kind and warm, and exceptionally thorough. I'm not at all happy about having to do a drop-off -- that is, leave our boy at the desk instead of being able to go into the examination room and actually get to meet the vet and talk with them for a few minutes (as was once the norm here) -- but I guess that's now the trade-off for excellent care. And the care is indeed excellent.

The most caring vet I have ever been to. They were so kind and when it was time for Delilah to go they allowed me to hold her and they showed so much compassion. I will not forget your kindness.

Tehachapi Veterinary Hospital takes great care of my boy, Angus. Angus is my Service Dog, trained for mobility and seizure response. I rely on him daily and if he’s not healthy, my own health is affected. Recently, Angus got very sick. I took him into Tehachapi Veterinary Hospital and they took care of him right away. I am so thankful to all the vets and staff that have taken such good care of my boy and got him back to work quickly. We love their Saturday clinic, so efficient, and the fact that they do take drop offs in the morning on any day is amazing. I highly recommend this vet, and so glad that we chose them to care for our babies (we have other dogs as well). Thanks Tehachapi Vet, Angus and I thank you!

I had an excellent experience bringing my older car in for her senior kitty check up and vaccination. Even though it was very busy that morning, there were enough people working to make sure that all of the patients and their parents were taken care of, and nobody was stressing out. The people handling my cat were caring and professional, and obviously knew what they were doing. The doctor who saw my cat was very cat oriented and understood her and her senior cat issues and needs thoroughly and gave me lots of good options for today’s care and advice for the future as my kitty ages. I feel confident that my dear companion will be well taken care of as she ages under the care of this vet and the support staff.

The staff was very friendly. The doctor that helped treat my dog was very thorough and helpful. She was honest with all my questions and I will definitely take my animals back to see them in the future. Unfortunately my pup was very sick so he couldn't be treated by them and we had to take him to the 24 hour veterinary hospital in Bakersfield due to the Christmas holiday.
