Ana Reyna, MD

I have been with Dr Reyna for 14 years. She has cheated my entire family. She is one of the best bedside manners and she goes beyond any doctor and make sure that tests and orders are completed. She has gotten the number one doctor of the year award. I would never go see another doctor up here in Tehachapi. She is a wonderful doctor and this is coming from nurse. She’s highly intelligent and takes the time to get to know you and also takes the time to follow up and or even give you a personal phone call to make sure that you are doing well. She has helped me through some of the roughest times in my life between back surgeries and mental health she make sure that I am getting the best care. The referrals that she has sent me to have been wonderful doctors. My children who are 13, 16 absolutely adore her and are very comfortable with her to be able to speak to her about anything personal that is going on. She’s not only a doctor but she becomes part of your family which is far and few from some of these doctors who just want to push you out the door and write a script. She was able to get my daughter tonsils taken out after fighting with another doctor for 10 years. It was one of the best things that we could’ve done for her she was always getting pneumonia and bronchitis and they always refused to remove her tonsils and it was one of the best things we could’ve done and now she is in one of the best Health after so many years in the hospital we absolutely love her and she is on top of her game and doesn’t let anything slide bye.

Dr. Reyna is one of the best doctors I have seen in many years. She is professional and honest. She has great integrity. I am the worst patient ever, but she doesn't make me feel bad.
Her office is friendly and efficient. I don't have to wait for 5 hours, like some Dr's offices.
In short, she is great. Thank you Dr Reyna!

Dr. Reyna is not only loyal to her patients, she is very down to earth dn generally cares about your well-being. Dr. Reyna also takes on Veterans as a part of her mission to actively serve those who protect our country!!!

We had a very positive experience here. They were caring, quick and made sure the care that was needed was received.

Great doctor!! She takes the time to really get to know you and pays attention to details.

Similar to the experiences of other reviewers, I have no complaints about Dr. Reyna. She's a good physician; she listens and doesn't rush appointments. She answers questions. Trying to get a med refill as an established patient, however, takes forever.

This isn't about restrictive laws. Unsent messages, apparent lack of concern from staff, possibly; being told, "I know you think this is important.."--today, when I finally got a person on the phone. I don't have the luxury of quitting this med; some years ago, in absolute frustration, I just quit taking it. Speeding and distracted driving nearly took my life. So yes, it IS important, even if a stranger thinks otherwise.

Dr Reyna is a very kind doctor, she listens well and is never in a hurry. My issue is her staff.
Getting prescriptions ok’ed for refill is ridiculous and takes far too long. I always make sure I have ample meds left so I won’t run out before the script is refilled. The turn-over of the office staff is constant..... I don’t understand why they keep leaving!! The wait in the office for my appointment is never less than 40 minutes.
Apparently scheduling too many patients!

Trying to get referral thru dr reyna's office to nuerologist for three weeks. ( Cannot drive due to double vision). Today i found out that dr reyna's referral asstnt (Josie) has not yet sent in paperwork for nuero referall!. This sucks! Josie not in office til Monday. Today is Tuesday! Gotta find better/faster medical help than this!!!

Very slow to renew medications to pharmacy. Can take up to a week at times. A bunch of calls to pharmacy to find out Dr hasn't sent authorization.

She's isn't good, my mom is stuck having her as a doctor. It's a small town, so you get what you can get. Some times it's not good but it's all that is around.

I was a patient of Dr. Reyna during my adolescence and teen age years. I then went to college out of town. I moved back earlier this year and wrongly assumed I would still be an accepted client. Due to a medical emergency, I was hoping I would get an appointment in so I could then get a referral (sports knee injury). They managed to get me in, and due to a miscommunication, I missed the appointment. I then immediately rescheduled. When the day before the new appointment came, I called to confirm and they told me I had missed the second appointment because they moved it sooner without my confirmation.

Essentially, they moved my appointment sooner while I had no access to my voicemail. Then blamed me for not checking my voicemail. Got home today and got a no show fee for this.

This business does not hold customer loyalty as a high importance. I really like Doctor Reyna.. but never have I come across such unprofessionalism from other staff, especially during a medial emergency.

I was optimistic when I first started going to Dr. Reyna because my mom recommended her. Throughout my experience with that office, I’ve learned that they do not use packed tools for paps, they just dip it in sanitizer liquid and dry it off. In addition, I received medication from her that is very important to take daily. With this medication, I had to see her every two months to check and see how I was responding to them. No vitals or blood test, just “how are you feeling?” After 8 months I was confident that I felt fine and there were still no changes. I was done paying $30 every two months just to tell her I feel the same. So I told her I couldn’t come in and she stopped filling my meds!! Remember, this stuff had to be taken DAILY or it could have serious consequences. When I called begging them to fill it, thay said they would give me 7 days worth and I had to come in and pay them $30 and say I’m fine before they would give me another month. AND forced me to pay out of pocket for those 7 pills since they said it was not a scheduled dose and the insurance didn’t pay for it. Needless to say, within those 7 days, I made an appt with a different doctor in town and got a 90 day supply right off the bat!!! Huh, interesting. There are more sad and personal experiences that happened during my time seeing Dr. Reyna but I dont feel comfortable sharing those stories.

Her dismissal of a concern I told her about 6/2018, old age at 60? No, Cancer. No exam, no referral just a missed chance to do a more
through examine and diagnose cancer 1 year earlier when I reported symptoms
"Gamble?" Go to y Vegas. Read other complaints. Decide you the best for you and your family. I can't believe I have Cancer because she is so negligent.

This clinic does not follow the CDC guidelines for mask wearing. Nobody, including the doctor, wore a mask. There was even a person coughing heavily in the lobby who was not wearing a mask. Unacceptable.
