Mountain Bible Church

Super encouraged by visiting Mountain Bible Church. Pastor Chris’ message on acceptance of other Christians and their preferences was a refreshing interpretation of Romans 14. He’s an example of a pastor seeking community with all churches preaching the Good News. The people here are incredibly welcoming and servant hearted and eager to welcome us as visitors. Enjoyed the worship singing too with their band. A great place to worship in a post Covid world. Anyone looking for a welcoming place to worship God and learn about the nature of God, would enjoy this community of believers. Look forward to coming back.

This is a gathering of people who love the Lord and are interested in the welfare of others. The worship ministries appeal to a wide variety of persons with traditional as well as contemporary music. If you extend your hand in friendship, you will be welcomed with a warm hand in return and a smile.

I've only been going to mountain bible for a few months and so far I am really enjoying it. The people I have met have been very kind and welcoming. They seem to have a very stong love for the Lord and his word. I am truly sorry to hear that some may have felt like it was just a social club only out to make money and not the welcoming love of God. This church isn't perfect but I assure you that that was not their intentions at all. I invite and encourage you to come check out the services on sunday mornings at 10. You can even come introduce yourself to me. You will know who I am because I will probably be coming in to the service late with 3 kids somewhat put together😅.

I really feel like I am learning a lot here. Pastor Chris is really being used by God to communicate with his people, he is a very well articulated man, very clear message and always sticking to the Bible. Great welcoming community!

Pumpkin Patch rocks. It's the best place for the Tehachapi communities to come and enjoy a harvest atmosphere. There are no "Agendas" other than fun.

A friendly place

Run fast. Run far. I tried to help the pastor out in a matter that needed to be addressed. I asked for confidentiality due to the nature of the concern. The so-called pastor not only disregarded my request for confidentiality but, although he agreed that the issue was very serious, he rudely stated that he did not want to hear anymore about it. It ended up putting me in a bind.

Since then, I have been told that several folks have left that church for various and serious reasons but all having to do with the pastor in one way or another.

I have been a Christian for more than 50 years, and I am an honorable discharged veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Had the pastor at least admitted his errors and apologized, I would have hope. But when someone who is supposed to preach repentance seems to not personally know much about it, nor understand his own need of it, it's time to run. Run far. Run fast.

Honestly I was very disappointed. First time going and the workers were very rude and their silence seemed very judgmental. The most expensive pumpkins I’ve paid for... the lady “measured” the pumpkins which were completely different sizes yet they were both the same exact price. We were told by other customers that they received free mini pumpkins the day prior. They were not free the day we were there. This town needs better pumpkin patches

This is just a social club, they have events every now and then to make money.
Like 60$ pumpkins at a pumpkin patch.
God is hardly ever mentioned.

Most of the church members make you feel like family. If you only go on Sunday's I hear it's good.
