Purdy's Liquor

If you're looking for a snack, a can of beer or a bottle of spirits to enjoy in your hotel room, Purdy's is great. They also have some basic travel necessities, like standard medications and laundry detergent. They had what I needed and the guy behind the counter was nice enough and helpful. Recommended.

In town for a week with my wife and this place has been very good to us. Prices are reasonable, very good selection of liquor, beer, and munchies. I can't say enough about the staff. Always greeted with a friendly face and very helpful. I lost my wallet at the counter while paying somehow. One employee checked the camera immediately while the other helped me look. We eventually found it wedged between 2 chip racks. Those folks are life savers! Thank you to all of the workers there for making our stay in LA feel more like home.

Perfect location right by all the hotels at LAX. Also Great Prices compared to bar prices at hotels

I loved the one stop shop. They had a big variety of things EXCEPT MENTHOL CIGARETTES!!!! Washing powder to wine .

Kinda huge liquor & mart. Lots of stuff at reasonable price. Definitely a must stop before checking in at hotels. Friendly staff

Big grocery store
There are big liquor section, ready-to-eat food, snacks, some fruits and other stuff which you can find in grocery store. There is non-food section with detergents, dish wash products, shampoos etc. this section isn’t giant, but here you can find all necessities.

Purdys is an icon for those that work I'm the hotels or airport. They've been here for more than 40 years and they have what you need. From Bourbon to lottery tickets. Love them

It’s only one store that nearby airport and opens until 10pm, you can getting any drink or simply food at here

You have to check out this store!! This is a little gem in the LAX area. This mom and pop store has been around for years! They are well stocked, great prices and their customer service is superb. We stop by every time we are staying near by. It’s nice to have this store for a quick stop before heading to/from the airport. If you’re in the area stop by they are open during these tough times. Let’s help them be around for many more years.

Stayed at the Embassy Suites just next door, and was looking for something quick, walked across the street, and found what I needed, and the staff were friendly, and helpful. Rafael was friendly, and easy to talk with. Would suggest if you needed something close to the airport without paying the high cost inside the airport stop here first.

Good selection of fruity ales. Mike's Black Cherry & purple BLKBerry Steele Reserve would be awesome, quite popular additions! I'd be there every day! . There are so few places to buy anything, esp alcohol in the area but they're honest & keep prices low enough to them them worth going out of your way for. Every time I'm there, I mention that they should consider accepting EBT. In the housing program, just a few blocks away, everyone has food stamps! Same thing at the veterans building down the street. There are HUNDREDS of guys in there who would probably LOVE to not have to go all the way to Ralph's to shop for real food on EBT! They're missing out on a lot of money!!

I don't know if they are signed up with any delivery service, like Instacart yet. I may talk to them about that. More potential money! My company has a venture we're developing, that will help provide extra security for local businesses if they want it because the police can't be everywhere at once! They will be available soon and will help prevent robberies, tourist attacks and shoplifting! I'll bring them brochures once it's up & running!

This place is a life saver when you stay near LAX, especially after you returned your rental car. It calls itself a liquor store but besides a good selection of alcohol its more like a vintage convenience store offering snacks and travel supplies too. I am really happy i could just walk over here and safe the cost on uber or taxi going somewhere else. Prices are fair. Staff friendly.

I am a customer of Purdys liquor store for many years the customer service there is the greatest. Always a pleasure to go in. The guys there are always making you feel welcome. It’s always neat and shelves are always stocked up with goodies. It’s walking distance from the hotels/airport. Stop by and check it out!

Nice liquor store, its right across the street from Embassy Suites on 98th street. Large selection of snacks, beers, a few wines and sodas. They also sell hard liquor and sandwiches. Truthfully it's better and bigger than the corner 7/11 so if you are in Los Angeles, and you find yourself at Embassy Suites on Airport Blvd be sure to check this place!!

This liquor store to me is awesome especially if your traveler it is right across the street from the Embassy Hotel and next to Budget Rent a Car Renaissance Hotels across the is across the street as well they have a very large selection of items that a traveler might need and needless to say they have a large selection of liquor as well the prices are very reasonable I actually bought a pair of Foster Grant sunglasses polarized for $8 the staff is always friendly so if you're a traveler or a local just passing through stop in and check them out you won't be disappointed

Pretty good store. Lots of options. Even my son found snacks which are not available in supermarkets.

I absolutely Love this Liquor Store and the Gentlemen that operate | work inside! Mr. Purdy's is another stop of mine that I've been going to since 2007. They have a wide variety of merchandise; and I literally get all I need whenever I'm a guest at one of the various hotels | rental shops surrounding Mr. Purdy's!

Prices are a little steep but the staff is very very polite and they don't taste you away when you try to panhandle sorry to all those that disagree with that but a girl's got to eat LOL
