Philz always delivers, and this location is no exception!

Generous seating indoors and conveniently located in a walkable downtown. Love that Philz has mobile ordering as an option now. The staff here are especially attentive and made sure to verbalize that they would craft the drink to perfection if there was anything you weren’t satisfied with. In my opinion, nobody does pour over coffee better than Philz when it comes to chain coffee shops!

My friend said this was one of their coffee spots and it was a great cup of Joe because of how they make it.

I ordered the philtered soul with almond milk and I though it was pretty good. The right temperature and the flavor was on point. Overall it was an excellent coffee.

I’d definitely come back check out there other blends and just be aware that parking is limited to street or garage.

I absolutely love going to Philz when I'm in California. The iced coffee rosè is my fave and I love ordering on the app. I walked from the Wayfarer DTLA to Philz and I can't say I feel 100% safe on those streets. There aren't any customers hanging out enjoying their coffee inside this location. It seems to be stop in, grab your coffee and leave. I cued up my Lyft, grabbed my coffee and didn't go out until the car was there if that tells you anything. Maybe the locals know how to deal with the homeless, but I can't say I do. I was headed to the garment district and didn't want to walk there alone.

Philz is always a safe and good choice to get coffee, pastry, sit down and chat!! It’s such a good coffee shop. My friend and I went to Philz for a quick coffee. The mint mojito never disappoints - I’ve had it with caffeine and decaf, both are really great. Original taste. Their speciality is the mint mojito or the rosé so definitely try these when you come here!! I tried the lemon poppy seed loaf bread and it was small but good too.

First time trying Philz Coffee!! Tried this spot based on a recommendation from a social media travel influencer. I ordered the iced mint coffee and it was amazing!!! Staff was very friendly and asked us whether we enjoyed the coffee, knowing it was our first time. The restaurant was clean, great seating indoors.

If you find yourself at Philz Coffee, don't over complicate it. Get a pound of Ether dark roast for home and a Mojito mint iced coffee for the road. Done.

I had the most amazing decaf iced coffee here. The cream they use is delicious and my barista was very thorough and attentive. I've never been to a Philz when there wasn't a line and this DTLA location is no exception.

Update: it's relatively quiet on a Sunday morning.

The service was awesome, there was a line when I arrived just 3 people in front of me, but it was fast and everybody was really polite.
Plus, the coffee tastes amazing. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff and some of the best coffee I've had. The speciality drinks were super creative and tasty. Wish I had one local to my area!

Amazing philz branch with very friendly staff! I highly recommend the mocha tesora, it has become my recent go to drink. Vibe is great and perfect for a nice 1-2 hour work session.

Not your regular run of the milk coffee this is pour over house have time to sit and enjoy the fragrance and the hard work of baristas do a great job, providing you with exactly what you asked for

It was my first visit of this coffee shop. Really like the idea that you can pick the coffee based on roast and they will grind it and make a cup of coffee in front of you. Nice service. Great place to relax in LA downtown.

Mint mojito is perfect ❤ not too sweet. fresh. while also being creamy enough for that cozy feel

First time at Philz for me and the whole experience was really enjoyable! Tried the mint mojito which was delicious and I'd definitely recommend it. The employees are so friendly and inviting. Will definitely be back!

I went to Philz because it was the only spot near my hotel open for coffee at 6am. I am so glad I did, because I absolutely loved it and went back several times during my trip. The servers were helpful and friendly. I always feel a little on edge that I'll be treated like an annoyance if I ask too many questions (because coffee snobs are not the crowd to look weak in front of), but the crew at Philz LA was kind, patient, and helpful. Even amid the rush of the morning crowd, my drink arrived quickly, and the shop itself had plenty of seating and a relaxing ambiance. Not to mention that the coffee was delicious! I got a hazelnut iced latte twice and one with rose foam, and I loved them all. I would recommend this spot and will definitely stop by if I get to visit LA again.
