Alana's Coffee Roasters

This is my girlfriend favorite coffee place in LA, I’m from Italy and I was visiting her and she wanted to let me try it as well. I have to admit that this place is great and coffee very very good!l and their croissants as well! Vibes are great and the atmosphere as well, nice interiors and wide backyard next to the big parking lot where people can work and enjoy a chat under a tent. I’m looking forward to go back there when I’ll be in LA again!

Thank you for consultation on the variety of loose teas on the menu here. I ended up getting a cappuccino because my specific taste in tea was not on offer.
I was very happy with customer service nevertheless.

Such a cute and tiny little coffee shop with great coffee and pastries. Ordered a Nutella croissant and it was really nice. The seating is limited and the waiting area can get cramped, but overall I love this cafe and am looking forward to returning.

This has become my happy place for so many reasons! From their delicious coffee to the dreamy atmosphere and friendly service, Alana’s offers a place of solace for both working as well as kicking back. Featuring their roaster in house for all to enjoy, the passion for their craft is undeniable. For being such a popular spot they manage to encompass a small community feel simultaneously.

The coffee is on point, not too bitter, no nasty after taste, beautifully presented and prepared, and consistently flavorful. You can enjoy their coffee at home with their bagged options they’ll ground on the spot for you to prolong freshness, not to mention to the optimal specifications for your coffee making method (again, passion for the craft).

Every experience here is a delight, so sit inside and vibe or take in the beachy air outside, and enjoy some terrific coffee or tea!

Best coffee shop around the area that you can get work done that also has a community atmosphere. That’s what I’ve been looking for, neighborhood coffee shops are supposed to make you want to stay and hang out, and to bring the community together. Just wished there was more indoor tables but it’s LA so space is limited. Back patio is very cute but can be a bit chilly to sit out there for a few hours for most of the year

Coffee is the best I’ve had in LA. I’m personally a fan of darker, bolder, earthier coffee and this doesn’t disappoint. Pastries are pretty good as well. The vibe in the back is amazing especially if you appreciate plants and ample seating!

We just got coffee and tea. I didn’t see any food. Funky charming atmosphere outdoors back from the street. A bit crowded.

One of my favorite local coffee spots - strong espresso and tropical vibes outside on the back patio. The crepe truck outside on the weekends makes delicious buckwheat savory crepes!

My favorite place to buy beans - I usually get roasts from Ethiopia, Kenya, or Colombia. Such a lovely spot to have in the neighborhood! Easy parking down the street or around the corner if the lot is full.

This place is great for a quick cup of coffee to sit or to go, also a great spot to do some work or study. I often stop by for a cappuccino and sometimes a pastry (go early when they’re fresher) when I’m in the area. I can always expect a solid cappuccino here. The drip is also great and the beans are delicious options to take home.

My favorite coffee shop in L. A. Beautiful on a cloudy or sunny day, it's home to a wonderful cat, set of plants and an amazing team of baristas. Very dog friendly and great for getting work done, I am quite picky about coffee shops and this one does not disappoint.

Alana's Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee shop that roasts their coffee beans. They have their own private parking lot and paid street parking nearby. There's free Wi-Fi and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. They also have a beautiful back patio/courtyard with more seating. Two bathrooms are available in the back.

Small and cozy, but always a line during peak hours. While the inside seating is limited, the bakery selection is not. They've got quite the selection of croissants, muffins, and even kouign amann. Unfortunately we don't really drink coffee.

There's a small parking lot with free wifi, no wonder the seating is always full.

Seriously this place is a gem. Great coffee and pastries in addition to excellent service. There’s one guy who always makes me laugh and smile. Only downfall, there’s not always a place to sit but that’s just because everyone loves it so much.

Extremely pleasant coffee shop with congenial staff. We sat outside in the back yard. It was raining lightly but there is enough of a roof to keep us dry. We had cappuccinos and then hot cocoa, both very good. We sampled the guava tool and the carrot cake, both very good

We went here for the first time today and it did not disappoint! Great coffee, the shop inside is cute, and the outside patio area gives off Joshua Tree vibes. Theres also a shop cat that lives in the back, his name is Starman and he loves chin scratches.

One of the best coffee spots in Mar Vista. My favorite is the pour over, they make it in batches so you don’t have to wait forever for an amazing cup of coffee. Aldo’s upper dog friendly, I don’t who gets more excited for our morning ritual — me or my dog.

The outdoor seating here is surprisingly peaceful, despite the cafe's location right on Venice Boulevard. It's a great place to unwind, whether you're looking to study or just relax. There aren't too many indoor seats available, so the outdoor option is your best bet.

An additional bonus is the lack of annoying bugs or flies buzzing around, making your outdoor experience more enjoyable.

One standout feature is the reliable and fast Wi-Fi. Unlike some cafes that limit website access or have sluggish connections, this place keeps you connected without any hassle. So, if you're looking for a serene outdoor setting, good coffee, and dependable internet, this cafe is worth a visit.

However, keep in mind that the indoor seating is limited, and it might be a bit crowded at times.

I recently visited Alana's Coffee Roasters in Venice and I have to say, I am absolutely blown away by their coffee. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and cozy decor made me feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure my experience was enjoyable.

But the real star of the show was the coffee itself. The beans are clearly roasted with care and precision, and the flavors were so rich and complex that I found myself savoring every sip. The cappuccino I ordered was perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of foam and a lovely, velvety texture.

While I was there, I couldn't help but notice that they didn't offer any MatchaDNA drinks on their menu. As a huge fan of matcha, I think it would be amazing if they could start serving MatchaDNA too. I have no doubt that they would up their matcha game and offer the same level of quality and excellence that they do with their coffee.

Overall, I would highly recommend Alana's Coffee Roasters to anyone looking for an exceptional coffee experience. The quality of their beans and the level of care that goes into each cup is truly unmatched.
