Very welcoming, fun, and the best haircut I've had in years. The shop is setup so nice, all of the employees are so kind, and the vibes are so good. Parking is so easy. Plenty all around. I got my haircut by Naomi (you can find them on Instagram) and they do SUCH a good job. I've had compliments poured on me every day on how good the cut is. Highly recommend.

Best haircut experience I’ve ever had. I did a transformation cut which boosted my confidence and made me question why I waited so long for short hair! From the moment I walked in the door Georgette made me feel comfortable and empowered. She was professional and I knew I was going to be taken care of. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Cassandra for 5 months now, by far the best barber I’ve ever had. The shop is super friendly and the vibe is nice. I am always amazed at how great my hair turns out, exactly how I like it.

All I knew when I went in was that I needed my cut to match my internal vision of myself. Nae nailed it. Not only did they get the cut entirely amazingly right, it was above my hopes. More critically, I was in a place where I felt my entire anxious body relax a moment.

You never truly stop changing and this is where I'll be going from now on to come back to myself. Being able to not only visually "return to center" as an older fluid person, it was a relief to enter a more youthful space and be reminded of the welcoming vibes from queer-friendly spaces of my youth.

I even felt confident enough to take a selfie (look at that volume for days! A miracle!)...

My pixie needed a tidy up before my wedding next week, but my usual gal is on maternity leave. Christi was fantastic. I explained the situation and she carefully and thoughtfully cleaned up my hair so it would be tidy, without the harshness of a “just cut” look. She asked great questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. 10/10.

this place is so neat, i got a hair cut from Nae at the old location about a month ago and they were so lovely, the store itself has such great vibes, and it was such an amazing experience!!! 1000% recommend!!

First time customer! Live up the street from The Mill and have been noticing a sign out front that said Barber. Well, was in need of a cut and decided to see what it was all about. Thought orginally it was a pop up that the Mill had put together. Imagine my surprise when I walk in and it is a full on Barber Shop. Had the honor of having the owner Georgette provide me with a great cut and even more so, a great conversation. Love the story, love the mission, super love the location. If you are getting a little wooly and it is time for a cut, I suggest making an appointment or dropping in to see if they have space for a cut. Enter the door on the corner. You will walk to the back of the room to see the shop. Very cool location. When done, grab some soup at Infinite Soups next door. Win - Win!

Cassandra is an amazing stylist. Super friendly, great conversation and the shop has a great vibe. She takes the time to listen and ensure you're getting what you want done. I'm taking my kids there now too. Finally found my go-to person!

First time customer, Cassandra did a fantastic job with my beard trim. Took a few minutes to discuss the best options for my trim. Her next client was running late so took she took a few extra minutes to go an extra mile. Will be returning for all my future beard trim needs!

Great place. Fairly new to Washington and this is my second visit here. I’m glad I found this place. Cassandra is an excellent barber. The beard looks amazing and she has a gentle hand when shaving my head. Relaxing experience with and amazing barber.

I can proudly say that not only do I go to this shop exclusively, my wife now goes to this shop! I've been a long time client of G's that has turned into a friendship over the years that I cherish. But today my wife came in and sat in Christy's chair, and the smile she put on her face after they were done is priceless! If I could give y'all more than 5 stars I would. Thank you both for having the utmost professionalism, while also providing an atmosphere that feels like home. I will continue to go to Georgette for as long as she will hold scissors and sheers in her hands.

I saw Naomi here a few days ago for my hair, I had a LOT of hair and it was unruly and wild, I decided it was time for a change and with Naomi’s help talking me through how my new look would go I couldn’t be happier with the results! I’ve been getting non-stop compliments and even without those, I feel more happy and confident with my appearance than I have in a long, long time.

Cassandra is a top notch Barber. I was an out of trimmed bearded shaggy haired bum. When I met her she was polite and asked me about trimming my beard and a little off the top. That was over a year ago and I will ONLY let her touch my beard and hair. I’m still a bum, but she makes me look a little more presentable. I have since talked a few more coworkers into getting cut by Cassandra. Highly recommend.
