They have an app that makes your life very easy. You can view what machines are currently opened and how much time is left.

You can purchase credit from the app and pay from the app. No need to break your bills, but if you want you can use coins as well.

Very clean and they have a vending machine that sells detergents and everything you need for doing laundry.

I have been here a couple times but both times the experience has been great.

Hands down the go to laundromat if you live nearby and even if you don't, the place is so impressive it'd be worth it to drive the extra distance. Seriously. The service is A1!! Awesome to have had the experience here especially in comparison to any other laundromat I've been to within a 20mile radius. It's refreshing to know that there's an establishment like this one still around that knows what it means to do Good Business. After a very tiring long day of work, and a bad experience at another laundry facility I got to Big Wave a bit after 10PM. A gentleman named Rick was extremely courteous and professional, and when I explained that this was my first time here he stopped what he was doing and went out of his way to ensure I was able to comfortably get my wash and dry completed before 11pm. He really looked out for me and that type of service is rare, especially when it comes to local laundry services. Very much appreciated sir and I hope that you are recognized for representing Big Wave so well. Night and day compared to the shenanigans I've experienced elsewhere. That's not all. The place was clean enough to eat off of the floors_ NOT that you should_ but you could. The machines are spotless in and out, new, efficient and there's no hit or miss with that. The owners and management are on top of their $#!7. They clearly have invested in a better facility, better staff, and better equipment they care about longevity not just collecting a quarter today and it shows in all aspects of this joint...the BEST all around experience I've had in this demographic.

This Laundry Mat is always clean, along with courteous employees and reasonable prices. Change machine is awesome, breaks 20s - 1s bills. You also have an option to using an app off your phone to pay. And super plus while waiting for your clothes , I enjoy the public's art that is displayed for my enjoyment.

Place is sparkling clean, security cameras cover the entire place and the staff our incredibly helpful. Use natural cleaning products to clean counters upon request. Give call outs if a machine is complete to keep things moving quickly. Great place to wash large items, dog beds, comforters. Parking is easy, street or their lot. Johnny is a great asset for this family business, the guy works so hard and is exceptional at taking care of everybody during prime hours on a Sunday. Highly recommend!

Very clean. Plenty of modern washers and dryers. Option to pay via their app..real time update on the washer and dryer you are using through the app. So no need for coins!

My old laundromat closed. It wasn’t great, but it was enough. I looked at another down the street from a tent camp, and it was gross. Dirty equipment, I didn’t want to do my laundry there. Then I tried Big Waves on Santa Monica Blvd. It was like a shiny beacon of cleanliness on the westside. WAY better than the old one that closed. Excellent friendly staff that was either cleaning or helping the entire time. Brand new machines with digital displays and the option to have it do a rinsing sequence before you put your clothes in. Didn’t feel the need to, they were all so clean. App payment options to avoid a bazillion quarters, credits for new accounts, vending with laundry supplies, snacks, and drinks. I’d give it 6 stars if it were an option. I’ll drive past the other one to get to this one, totally worth it.

I travel and sometimes these are better options than dry cleaners for regular laundry. This place is the cleanest and most well ran laundromat I have ever been to. I felt they deserved a positive review for their hard work and effort. Staff were attentive and friendly who actually greeted people around the place.

Very convenient and not expensive at all .. very clean .. and advanced technologies to monitor your load from your phone and to pay using an app .. highly recommend it .. 5min=25 cents for drying .. 23min of wash = $5.25

I made my first visit tonight based on reviews and I’m so glad I did. Joe provided stellar service🤩 to everyone who entered, and the best customer service I’ve personally received in a long while. This is my new spot, clean, welcoming, the machines work, clothes are completely dry and there’s even a toilet for customers!

Machines are clean and always work well, the location has a lot of seating while you wait for your clothes. The manager is hardworking and kind. He seems like he genuinely cares about running a good business.

We utilized the wash and pickup service and it went great. There was a small issue but they resolved it quickly and very apologeticly. Seemed like a great business and employees were all awesome. They had lots of options for sizes of units to use. Parking lot and street parking, although the parking lot was full most of the time. Will use again when needed for sure!

Update, I received a great response from the owner and they are taking action. I appreciate the quick response and glad they are addressing, I will still be a weekly customer! Love the staff and the environment! Thanks Wade!

Best Laundromat in the area, worth driving up to 1/2 hour for.

I usually just come down here for fluff and fold, but they did get some brand new washing machines, so I might try that out. Super cool of them to offer half off the F&F order for new and existing customers, I think it might be a covid special or something. Either way, they do an awesome job and this place is super clean. Free WiFi, tons of parking. Good place all around.

The best laundry place in Santa Monica. Place us super clean and remodeled in beach city style so while you are waiting for your laundry to be done you can enjoy in surf/beach art or in garden outside. Machines are new and modern and they come in all sizes from one loads to giant loads. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. You can do coins or app payment. App is super easy and convenient.

Fluff and fold service, free charging for phones

I used their fluff & fold service for the first time. They charge $2 per pound and give you 50% off if you are a new customer, so I only paid $30 for 30lb of laundry!
I must say that Rosie who worked at the desk was extremely nice, helpful, and quick! I'm so glad I came here because other places might be cheaper but their customer service is not as good. I want someone to smile at me, and be nice to me while handling my clothes and bed sheets. Why? think about it - if they aren't nice to you in your face, how are they going to handle your clothes while you aren't there?
I dropped my clothes off on Saturday morning and picked them up on Sunday. The clothes were clean and folded. Thank you for taking care of my laundry so I can enjoy my weekend peacefully without worrying about it.
