Motel Sakura-Glendale

My 1 night stay (04/10/2024) was wonderful! Everything was above and beyond my expectations. The staff is friendly, parking is safe/secure, rooms are super clean and modern! Definitely coming back and booking here. This place is truly a gem and every similar business should aspire to be like this

This was an amazing motel. Check in was so easy, and I was given my choice of rooms. The room was roomy, with a queen size bed and a couch with a coffee table. The bed was very comfortable, and I could actually use the pillows provided. They were not too hard or too thick. There was a good sized refrigerator and closet. The bathroom was huge, and the most beautiful bathroom I've ever seen... gorgeous tile, a huge shower stall with a seat, rainfall shower head, and hand held head. The mirror had adjustable lighting. Although the street was busy, I could barely hear the traffic. The gates across the driveway added a level of security. Check out was simple. I would stay here again, and would recommend Motel Sakura to anyone needing a nice place to stay in Glendale.

The room was clean and roomy. The fridge was a good size, bed and pillows were very comfortable. Very good attention to detail- wine opener was available. Front desk was very kind. Location is convenient and quiet.

Nothing better for the price. Nice and clean location with friendly staff. Also a very cute cat on location who was there to greet us. Had multiple things come up that night like an unexpected guest. Came back from a concert around 1AM and the parking lot was full, hosts were very quick to accommodate. Very comfortable spot to rest for the night. ♥

You won’t find a better place to stay for a couple of days than this! This is truly a ‘unicorn’ among all the motels to choose from. The owners who welcomed us left an incredibly friendly and positive impression. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. Don’t hesitate, book this. You won’t be disappointed!

I was pleasantly surprised by this motel. Great service, comfortable, clean and excellent value. It's a no frills place but we were very satisfied. got stuck an extra night because of the Alaska airline incident. The motel owner took care of us immediately. Friendly and welcoming. Parking is free too.

We spent two nights here while visiting for the Rose Bowl. We called earlier in the week to add a night and the customer service was literally perfect. Super helpful & called us back to add on the next day. Once we got there, the front desk was AMAZING & even gave us a gift for the Chinese New Year. The rooms were actually pretty great and loved having the gated parking. 1000% recommend staying here! Haven’t stayed in a “motel” before but this was definitely hotel worthy. Make sure to say hello to the cat! 🤣❤

Such nice rooms, incredible service. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Our flight was delayed and everything was going wrong so I was at the hotel well after it closed but they stayed up and let me in anyway. Just the nicest most easy going and kind people. Thank you so much.

Coming from the Bay Area, you feel doubtful where to stay, but I have been here previously for a one night stay for. Concert with my husband and I was very surprised of clean the whole property is. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming I arrived very early before my check in time and they gladly checked me in earlier to my room, plus they’re smart tv’s was a great addition with our kids being able to watch they’re favorite videos. Nowadays is hard to find places with good customer service with everything that’s going on in our world but Motel Sakura truly are very welcoming when you arrive. I definitely recommend it and will come back for future stays . Thank you !

I'm a professional house and pet sitter who ended the lease on my apartment in October 2023. Since then, I've been lucky to go from one job to the next with few lags between gigs, but when I do have days open, I stay at Motel Sakura!

Friendly, helpful, and communicative staff, super clean rooms, gated and secure parking lot, super hot water/great pressure, and even a couple of sweet kitty cats on the premises! Close (walking distance) to Adams Hill and Eagle Rock (a little longer walk, but I love walking in Los Angeles), and close enough to freeways if you're driving. Everything in the room works properly and is well-maintained. Doors are solid and secure. Housekeeping is very thorough, and if they see the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, they do not disturb you. And the price? Unbeatable. Literally.

This is by far the best motel I have ever stayed at. Clean, gorgeous, and peaceful. My husband and I celebrated the marriage of our dear friends. After a full day and night of fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories, Motel Sakura provided a moment of respite before returning to the reality of life. We got such fantastic sleep we had to ask what mattress they had! Book your stay at Motel Sakura!!

Great family run motel. Easy access to LA, Glendale and Pasadena. Affordable and clean. I’ve stayed here four times when visiting family.

On a cross country road trip, this motel has stood out the most! Super clean, room is fantastic, bathroom is above standards. There is a secure parking lot and even EV charging station, which we didn’t expect but came in handy. Staff is very friendly. We’ll do our best to stay here again next time we’re in LA.

This place is very secured. they close the gate at 11am and only guests have keys to open it. Room was clean , feels like home, with a lof of amenities. Will come back

Clean space, wood floor, comfortable beds, right size of bathroom, with microwave oven and dining table for four - what I always like about this place. Friendly staff is a bonus. They can assists you also during reservation via a quick call. Oh, I can charge my EV too for free! This was my 3rd stay and won’t be the last.

Clean, spacious, safe for women traveling solo, easy parking, kind and helpful staff. I will go back there next time I visit.

The front gate opens automatically during the day when your car approaches, at night you have to tap your key card. The only thing to be mindful of is that neighboring rooms can hear each other quite well.

Just a lot of good things to say bout this lil motel! Area is pleasant. Parking is gated. Motel was clean and owners are super friendly. They even had a cute little kewpie in the front. 🥹

It was a short couple days but it was quiet. I would def recommend staying here again!

Quiet. Great staff, beautiful room and you get to hear the highschool marching band practice if your there at the right time. Thank you so much for a great stay!
