City Terrace Park

I can't say enough good about this park- it has everything you could possibly want to entertain you and your kids for the afternoon. There's a splash pad, monkey bars, a seesaw, a rock climbing grey wave, and a covered basketball court. Parking is free, and they sponsor "Parks After Dark" during the summer, with live entertainment and movie nights.

Well, we're having a party, unfortunately you can't reserve a spot for tables but if you here early enough (5:00 am) you're pretty much guaranteed a shaded area. There's splash pads, a jungle gym, and a pool very convenient to the center and park office. With a huge parking lot and baseball field you might not have issues with space. The only thing is that if the trees on the side of the center were trimmed or cut you would have and amazing view of East LA.

Beautiful park for water play. Kids love it here. Nice family environment. Perfect for a hot day.

This place is wonderful. The kids can have hours of fun and it doesn't cost a dime. I do like the diversity of folks that show up and it's always great familes. It's a real gem.

This park has so many activities available throughout the year for the community. I enjoy coming to celebrate my daughter's birthdays here as well.
The playground is big and seems to be functional and to the children's liking. The bathrooms are open for most of the day especially during summer time which is a big plus for those long days there during summer.

Awesome place very kid friendly and family oriented....wonderful scenery and nice Basketball courts...also pet friendly..grab your little ones and let's go to the Park on the Hill.

My boys love this park, the staff are great. We enjoy the sports activities they offer here.

Awesome splash pad, playground for all ages and they even have a covered basketball court. Splash pad is open daily from 10-6 and it’s free. Pool was closed on Sunday so not sure the hours or fee. Plenty of parking too. They had a few food vendors on Sunday that accept Zelle payment 8; you want snacks, ice cream, fresh fruit or event water toys

I'VE BEEN COMING TO THIS PARK FOR OVER 8 YEARS!! CLEAN AND CONVENIENT, DRUG FREE!!!! DEFINITELY FAMILY ORIENTED! !!! NEVER TO FULL TO PLAY!! LOTS OF FAMILIES COME ALWAYS SEE NEW FACES AND SOME OLD FACES : D ! My daughter knows this park by name. And to come here every. Most of our summers are spent here.

Our first time going there and it was a great experience.. I took my family and the has lots of we will be visiting back again loved the play grounds.
The lay out was a good set up at this X Mass event Parks After dark. My son and I been going them . But this one was the best one yet thank you for such a wounded full experience ….

Great place for the whole family.. during the summer they have a really nice and big splash pad for the kids. Lots of vendors around the park if you need anything from food to toy’s.

Family fun park alot of activities for the whole family

The park has improved from last time I was there, has to be more than 15 years lol. Either way more activities in the jungle gym, Small water activity by jungle gym, an exercise spot. Could use more tables & benches for like birthday parties but all in all its great. I loved this sign they have that described all the plants that are around the park. I appreciate nature, so that was a plus for me.

Incredible water feature in the summer time! Splash pad here is the best in the city that I have found and it is free. Love the rec center which has a swimming pool that did great baby swim classes for my toddler though to go in the pool you have to check in everything like your bag and phone which was sometimes a little inconvenient. Architecture of the rec center is beautiful. Covered basketball court. Has different sizes of see saws and a xylophone. Nice little sandbox with excavator for 3 year olds or so. Lots of covered picnic tables and multiple playgrounds for different ages. Love how the rec center and the baseball and soccer fields block access to the street and parking lot for any little kids who wander. Shaded from tree cover most of the day. Some violence has occurred nearby during playground hours which is very disheartening but in general it’s a very peaceful and lovely oasis where people frequently have kids birthday parties. One of my favorite playgrounds for our kids.

Amazing park with great scenery. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. It's always a good time.

This water park is awesome I will definitely go again all summer it's convenient fun safe and I always find somewhere to park and they have sport activities there maaaan this place is better

The thing I like about the city terrace park
is there's a lot of fun things to do and to entertain your kids and you there's tables there's a seesaw and swings but I don't want to say the rest because it's going to take long but if you go to the city terrace park you're going to have a lot of fun
