Big Mama's & Papa's Pizzeria

Nice pizza spot. We visited based on a fundraiser they were participating in. Nice of them to donate some of the proceeds to the cause. Pizzas were tasty. They have a ton of speciality pizzas. You can also build your own of course. You can also do a split on one pie…”two pizzas on one crust.” Pricing is inline with most other local small shop spots. Located on Honolulu in the heart of Montrose just west of Ocean View on the north side. The restaurant def has a vibe and consistent theme. Outdoor seating as well. Very friendly, and kind staff. Pizza was made fresh and quickly (less than 15 min.). Metered Parking is available out front…but is usually pretty packed. There is a bank lot across the street that can be used off bank hours. We got the pepperoni cup speciality (onions and garlic), and the veggie lovers; both on one crust! We got the 18 inch to go, and it was about $36 with tip and tax.

I was here a couple weeks ago and had a few slices. Pizza is very fresh and portion sizes are incredible for what you’re paying for. I had the Hawaiian pizza and the margarita pizza. Both were great. Service is great and friendly and got the food in a timely manner. I’ve seen many places cater from here and I have to say that it’s pretty good feeding large groups of people.

It had been a while since I came last and they were as nice as ever. I got there just before the line went out the door for Oktoberfest. We didn't have to wait long for our food and it was so tasty! The ambiance was nice, family oriented. The boys were working hard in tye kitchen and there were many satisfied customers, including us.😁

I ordered the Jumbo deluxe and extra large margarita pizzas.
They were both good.

Jumbo pizza was huge, almost double the large pizza.

To be honest I came here because there was an open parking spot not far away. I ordered a 13 inch BBQ chicken pizza and a soda. I sat outside because inside were families with lots of kids. My pizza arrived in 10 or 15 minutes and was really great. I will be back again soon. Montrose is a nice place to visit.

First time here. We went to Montrose,CA location. We got the mushroom and pepperoni pizza and a grilled chicken sandwich. The food was really good and well worth the prices to us. Definitely will go back again. Friendly staff and very clean place. Recommend this place for take out or you can eat inside.

This is my first try of Big Momma's pizza. We had the deluxe Large. The crust is amazing the toppings were perfect not too much and not too little. The sauce was tasty and the amount of cheese was right on the spot. Service was fast at the counter and out the door in 15 minutes. We have been in this area for 30 years and I wish we found them sooner. Next we will try some of the other items on the menu.

Real good pizzas, but heir Calzone are the best. Love their calzones. Salads are also good. If you gona dine in, they have very little seating and on weekends it could be busy.

Eric helps with our order of food. And bring the food out to our table. They were super nice and patients with my daughter. The food was very delicious. I got full from taking my daughter and fiance food 😆 🤣. Will go here again.

Love this pizza place. The portions are huge, one slice is actually like 4 slices. Great topping selections too and great prices.

they make good pizzas here. their calzones are real good too. If you have a large party, they have super giant pizzas. If you want to dine in,they have a few seating spots, but of course with Covid, they only have couple of tables outside.

Visited as a guest in the Big Mamas (Honolulu Montrose) for lunch
yesterday. We were entertaining friends from La Canada,
I just want to say that, in addition to nice, huge pizza slices, we had a
delightful staffs.They recognized that we wanted time to visit and did not
rush us. The staff members made certain that we had everything we
needed. Kudos!

My favorite pizza place in LA. I grew up eating this pizza after baseball games and for big birthday parties or group events. I'm so happy this location opened up here in Montrose and is only a few minutes walk from my house which makes pick up, dine in, or delivery fast easy and convenient.

if you want an amazing pizza made your way. this is the place. all of the toppings are fresh and delicious. the service is awesome too. and best prices for the amount of food they give. this is an amazing place.

Always a good experience with the employees, delicious pizza, and clean inside. We get the Big Mama's slices and they are perfectly filling!

Last Friday night had pizzas with girl friends. Pizzas are perfect, something for everyone. The staffs were awesome, very friendly and accommodating. Had a great time. Will be back definitely

Food is very good. We usually order to pick up but they deliver and have a small dining eating area. There’s a lot on the menu to choose from and employees are nice.

Pizzas are gigantic and really good but if you don't like super greasy pizza don't get it from here. Also they have a wide selection of options on the menu
