Regency Village Theatre

My favorite! Huge, old timey theater that's been well kept and very clean! Friendly staff and great atmosphere. The spacious balcony is my favorite part (plus they show 70mm sometimes!!)

Haven't been here in decades! Westwood doesn't have nearly as many tasty places to eat any more but this cinema is still good for an event movie. 😁

This is a great theater with one of the best screens and the best SOUND in Los Angeles.
The staff is friendly and keeps the theater looking good. Also, points for the Bruin across the street.

Staff is so friendly, the theatre has such a nice old feel for it and they do student discounts. The bathroom is also really fancy and there’s water fountains. Love coming here

It's simply the best non-Imax movie theater there is. Huge screen. The best sound. Giant auditorium with 1300 seats. Even a balcony!

Why would anyone go to a generic multiplex when you could see a movie in this temple to cinema?!

A Landmarks Theater, first created in Westwood where the red carpet is placed for actors with every premiere coming to the hood, for students and professionals at UCLA and all over LA.

Best. Theater. Ever. Frequented this theater a lot. Friends and I would line up hours before our showing. One time while we were in line I was telling some friends of mine that I personally thought this theater had the best sound in any theater I've been to. The guy in front of me turned around and said that he was a sound engineer and had heard that Lucas used the Village as the model for THX. Go figure. Could it use an update to amphitheater seating, sure but this is a landmark that shouldn't be missed.

Went there for the screening premiere of Annabelle Comes Home and it was perfect. Fast service, great security system, and the theatre is so big and nice. Check out the huge screen!

One of the best old large theater we have left in Westwood California. Fortunately they have a pristine picture and THX sound. No Time To Die is the final Daniel Craig Bond film, I had to return to the Regency Village where I saw Skyfall three times each time bring a different get of friends. If you crave that big screen experience that Christopher Nolan speaks about. Give this amazing theatre a try. Also only $11.00 for the matinee show. Love this theatre and have seen many fine movies here.

Without question, the world’s best theatre. Biggest screen in town, fantastic sound, and even a balcony. THX was actually designed using this theatre.

Brilliant audio that amplifies the stunning vintage theater, in it's glory. Loved watching Aquaman here. Couldn't have been better.

I love these old theatres! This one is very large with a balcony; however, it is not stadium seating. The seats are slanted so you can still see the screen. The popcorn is above average but I have never had stale popcorn here. Since it is an older theatre, the bathrooms are located downstairs and there are only about 6 stalls. If the movie is crowded, expect to wait in line for the restroom.

The theatre is massive on the inside! Never been in one with so many seats. I got to attend the premiere of Smallfoot here

They seem to only screen one movie at a time, but that theater hall is massive! It looks quite exquisite, and even has a balcony on the top. They also have a decent selection of snacks, popcorn, even caramel popcorn. That just stole the show for me, coz I love caramel popcorn and sadly most other theaters don't have it. You can also book tickets on the Atom app here, so that opportunity for discounts is a bonus!

This historic theater, owned by Fox, has been in Westwood Village for over 50 years. The interior is heavily inspired by the Baroque style, and the screening spaces are huge. They also have really affordable ticket prices. For students, they can get tickets for $10, while general admission is $12.

Just a warning, they have limited show times for certain movies. I've noticed that they usually show 2 movies at a time, mostly the trending titles of the month. I highly recommend this space after a night out; street parking is available for cheap in comparison to their parking structure.

I love this theater. It's a classic that b I've been going to since middle school. Other than the bathrooms being way too small seeing a movie there is a great experience.

Worked here is the early 90's. Still one of my favorite theaters to go to. The ticket taker Duncan is still there.
