I only contacted the shop owner the day before my son's birthday and they were very nice and helpful and the experience was more than wonderful. The cake is very delicious and very beautiful and the cake pop and cookies taste very delicious. All my friends asked me where I got the cake. I recommend this shop, which provides everything you need for a birthday or any occasion❤❤❤❤❤

I was looking for a freshly made cake for my granddaughters 3rd birthday. It was very last minute, but I found Marrisa’s Cakes in Downey. I walked in and noticed the nice cake models on display. I also was able to see a customer’s cake that had just been finished and it looked really nice! Most of all I had been treated with quick and wonderful service! I am hoping that the cake is as good as my experience!

I recently ordered macaroons and mousse from this bakery and i was amazed on how amazing it all was. It was a big order but ever bite was amazing. I will recommend Marissa's cake quality was amazing. Thank you

Went in yesterday looking for dipped chocolate strawberries and they had none on display. Asked Marissa about it and she said that it was no problem they weren't ready but she can whip some up real quick for me. I ordered a dozen and they were done within 15 minutes. The best part was that they were so delicious! It was the berry on top to our Valentine's Day.

Order the cake last minute for a last minute wedding. I was expecting much BUT they far exceed my expectations. Thank you for the beautiful cake and it tasted wonderful!

My first birthday cake was a nightmare before christmas. She listened to my design and vision and DID IT
My second birthday cake was for my Marvel themed party and wanted a Guardians of the Galaxy cake themed to the Disneyland ride and SHE DID IT!!!! She got the color scheme and design from the ride building and went above and beyond. For my engagement party cake she did it better than the pictures I showed her. For the wedding, she made a delicious wedding cake all of guests enjoyed :)! The dessert table was an amazing touch! Marissa's cakes is THE BEST!

I have to say this is the BEST bakery I have experienced in a long time. At 62, I have been to a few. The cake was so moist and not too sweet. EVERYONE loved it and I can't wait to order the next one. Marissa's Cake is by far the BEST around and they are so courteous!!

Excellent!!!! Not only was it beautiful, and looked just like the photos it was delicious!! I ordered a 2 tier cake with different flavors and it was PERFECT!!! I ordered a chocolate with fudge filling round cake and buttercream icing with design of a fat unicorn sitting in all his gluttony after taking a bite of the cake. They nailed it. To top it off it was delicious. The cake was moist and soft, the fudge was just right in sweetness and paired well with the buttercream. It was so smooth. I ordered vanilla cupcakes for the non chocolate loving crowd and they still ate all the cake.

The cake I requested from an image I found online came out very identical as requested. I recommend Marissas Cake shop

They have such a great organized curbside pickup. You place your order and time you'll arrive. Once you get there you show them your receipt and they send an employee to your car with your order. Your food is warm and perfect as always.
