I love egg roll express! I grew up in this community and have been eating at this restaurant since I was a kid! Their food is so fresh, flavorful and delicious! It has gotten pricier over the years and most of their dishes come family style so I recommend coming for their lunch combo deals! I also recommend calling ahead because they don't have a very big wait area and it does take a while because food is made fresh! But I promise you it's definitely worth it! I recommend getting their chicken chow mein, the noodles are thick and so tasty! I also love their paper wrapped chicken! 😁

Wow I’ve never seen a chinese takeout place cook food that tasted so fresh and clean! The meat is good quality and every dish we ordered w vegetables has a surprisingly large amount. I ordered 4 dishes pickup to go and my food was ready in less than 10 min. Amazing and will be coming back!

I love egg rolls but never tried shrimp, being that my family originally, come from Louisiana, but migrated to Texas, we ate lots of c-food (lol) but those were the best shrimp egg rolls eva!!! Now I'm working at a private school mostly Asians. And I Luv,! It. So my scenery will change so look forward to sending more. Oh that's my dog pharoah, have a cat named Prentiss. C . M.

I can only rate and comment on the take-out Orange Chicken and combination Fried. I don’t believe they are equipped for dine in. The orange chicken is good 3.5 to 4 out of 5 stars but the Fried rice is amazing! Like 2x better than any fried rice I’ve had so 10 out of 5. Good flavor, Well seasoned and large chunks of meat.

I get the egg flower soup every time, it’s so good. Every other item I try along with it, every time, blows my mind even more. Easily one of my favorite take out Chinese places in America.

We had a lot riding on a New Years Eve delivery. The large order was delivered right on time to celebrate a 99th year birthday! Food was excellent - thank you Egg Roll Express!

Open kitchen so you can see all the food being prepared. The cooks work very hard and very fast. The food is delicious and they never get the order wrong. Been going here for years. Great price. Great service. Support this amazing local restaurant!

For the price of $7.95 I got a full entree of garlic shrimp which was delicious steamed rice chow mein and egg roll and hot and sour soup everything was absolutely outstanding. This is the second time I've been here it seems to be a pretty popular place for lunch even though it is nothing fancy. It's great for a cheap delicious fast lunch. Restrooms are available. The service was outstanding also they are very friendly here.

Something is different, but love their food.

Fast and efficient as usual. I stopped by for the family's usual of chicken chow mein, black pepper beef and vegan fried chicken lunch specials. It was so delicious and the family enjoyed every bite. The awesome thing is,we never come for lunch,only dinner. The lunch comes with your choice of soup, choice of steamed or fried rice, a wonton, an eggroll and a fortune cookie. They always get your order correct and we've been coming forever. I suggest working your way around the menu,all good food and you get to watch it being made,right in front of you.

My daughter introduced me to this place... and omg, we love their food, specially their Wonton Soup. We have it at least once a week. I totally recommend this restaurant, you'll love it too, ENJOY! ♡

Our place to go for Chinese food. Is always affordable and they cook right in front of you. We've never had any problems with the food from here.

These guys are machines. They can cook up an order for 6 quickly and easily. And they are powering through the covid crisis because they are a value option for meals in the neighborhood. Just remember it is American style Chinese food

Food here is a Classic. Used to eat here when I lived in Altadena, Pasadena area. (1980-1990) Employees are friendly, kind and helpful. They do deliver. I would recommend Egg Roll Express to anyone who is visiting in Pasadena-Altadena area.

Delicious food!! All cooked fresh when you order. Best pork fried rice I’ve ever had. Fast and delicious!

This place has a lot of vegetarian options and lunch specials. They don't skimp on the protein either. I definitely will be coming back often.
