Great drinks. And you can also drink coffee with pastries and have a delicious meal. Friendly staff. Take a look, you won't regret it. I recommend.

I went to the sandwich shop in the back of the market (Ziv, reviewed separately) and was quite pleased to peruse the market while I waited the 20 min for my sandwiches order.

This market is consise but impressive!
I bought a couple drinks from one of the fridges and a promising bag of coffee for now, but there are so many cool finds. Basically I can see and feel that they get it and know. If 90% of options are all quality great finds you've tried before, it tends to suggest you ought to try the ones you have not. Somewhere else I might think it's just the less good options, but this place doesn't seem to have any less good options. Many items don't have prices displayed, but honestly this is more like a shopping date with yourself ; ) That being said, I did not try the smoothie coffee bar on the left wall and am scared I might enjoy it too much given the prices. Yikes, just yikes.

Maybe I'll take more picture next time. Really everything is worthy.

Love this place! Not just a market. An appealing and welcoming environment with plenty of places to sit and relax. Enjoy a fresh juice or coffee then do some grocerie shopping on the way out. Penty of healthy food and produce options and a good selection of wine. The staff is amazing!

Renee has an amazing place. The drink selection is excellent, the produce section is surprisingly robust.

Nice people, nice produce, nice products. Some great prepared food options as well. The juice bar is also a highlight.

A great market. It's not where you'll necessarily do the bulk of your shopping, but they have a lot of harder to find items that larger grocery store or markets in the area don't carry.

As far as pricing, it's not discount by any means but I think for the quality of products offered and at a convenience of being in the neighborhood, they're largely fair if you shop smart.

An added bonus that cannot be forgotten is that La Palma burritos recently opened up a kitchen in back which is 5 stars in it's own right.

The staff are always very kind and helpful.

Worth a visit, for sure. You'll probably be back!

A great neighborhood market, that has a pretty decent grocery selection, a great craft beer and wine selection, great selection of fresh produce, a meat counter, plus a coffee & juice bar.

Fancy market with a wide selection of high end drinks and snacks. Also an espresso bar and juice bar. Last but not least, La Palma burritos in the back, and frozen ones too!

The remodel turned this place from a bodega/corner shop vibe to a total organic oasis. It’s a total vibe. They’ve got a coffee bar, a sandwich counter, and an açaí/smoothie bar. Unique alcohol, exotic snacks, and attentive service. Ultimately, a utopic, miniature Whole Foods…without the corporate demigod above.
Family owned (it seems), great product (I regularly get açaí here, & coffee,
or smoothies occasionally too).
Frequented by the typical
NELA re-gentrifying cool-kid crowds….always feels alive, and there’s some great street side tables to sit and people-watch at.
Prices are typical for LA…last time I went, it was $40 for an açaí bowl, a smoothie, and a piece of coffee cake.

Went today for the first time, and so happy to find a neighborhood market with so many options. We got some coffee, and other daily foods like jams and bread. I could basically get my entire grocery list there. Good job to the owners! And we will definitely be back!!

Friendly staff. Great selection of food and drinks. Açaí bowls are off the hook! Smoothies are made with the best ingredients and they even brew their own kombucha.

All sorts of practical items and a bunch of fun ones too....solid neighborhood market for every day.

Wow, I love this store! VERY clean. The energy feels great in here. So much organic produce. Can't beat the Intelligentsia coffee, and they have a great selection of beer and wine and feels like family in here. I just love the service and warm and fuzzies just being in here. You can sense how happy they are to be at work, you know? It's so well stocked with anything you might need -- like, I can get things like crazy glue and natural turmeric shots (which i LOVE) in the same place - not to mention... Inside the store is a deli counter called Monte 52 that serves the best gourmet sandwiches for only like $7 or $8!

Amazing market. Gourmet coffee, Kombucha on tap. Like a little Trader Joe's in the hood.

Great service with yummy sandwiches and fresh acai bowls/smoothies. Also lots of healthy/unique snacks to choose from! Highly recommend as a grocery store and a place for prepared food. Came in with my full lacrosse team and they served us all with a smile.

First of all I'd like to say I was very surprised with this little spot in Highland Park. Having grown up in the area and now living in Lancaster I don't get to check out the new spots in HLP. As soon as I walked in the store I noticed the beauty and the cleanliness of the store. Secondly, I ordered a tuna sandwich which was SUPERB, possibly the BEST tuna sandwich I have ever had! My daughter also enjoyed the biscuit sandwich she ordered. And the Oregon Oatmeal cookie was deelish too! Needless to say next time we are in LA I will stop by to grab another sandwich on the GO! Kudos Tropicana for this fine establishment you have brought to the community.

Best Corner store ever! Well stocked with pretty much anything you need. Clean, organized and friendly service to top. They have a well thought out selection of beer and wine. Their Juice and coffee bar ROCKS!! Oh and did I mention they have Kombucha On Tap? OHHH YA, love having this place in my community. Keep it up La Tropicana.

I come here often. I always order the ice caramel latte. I absolutely love the way that ERICA makes my drink. If she doesn’t make my drink, I won’t order. She is very polite, respectful, courteous, nice, and genuine. Every time she makes my drink, I notice the 1st thing she always do is WASH HER HANDS!!! After that she continues and makes my drink to PERFECTION 👌🏾
