I had an amazing experience and I haven't even brought my car in yet. Sadly, I've had issues at other body shops where I've encountered a stereotypical attitude toward women, talking down to me just because it's about my car, as if i wouldn't understand things. Not the case here. Both Connie and Chad were respectful, polite, and talked to me, not at or down to me. What a delightful change.

Connie was amazing! She was great to communicate with, always kept me in the loop and they did an amazing job repairing my car! If I ever need to have a repair done again, I'll definitely call Elis!

Attentive, respectful, and comfortable with people who may have issues, at times, with English. As a native Spanish speaker, Connie was wonderful, switching languages easily to make sure I understood how the repair process would work. Wish that more businesses, especially here in Los Angeles, could be this way.

I brought my Honda fit into Eli collision repair because of an extended warranty paint job. The Honda dealer said it would take three weeks yet wouldn’t give me a loaner. Chad and Connie at Eli collision repair were great. Not only because they followed up with me every single step of the way and kept me abreast of what was going on, but they were able to the job done in less than a week. They’re honest and their customer service is out of this world. I would recommend them to anyone. Jasmyne B.

I got repairs done here, got my car back and noticed my wheel was slightly to the right when I was driving straight and that my bumper was loose, after repairs. Went back to the shop and the lady tried to tell me there is nothing wrong with my wheel and that bumper was my fault and I need a whole new one (thousands of dollars). Turns out the alignment was wrong and all I needed was a few bumper clips that are extremely cheap. Absolutely ridiculous and scammy. Not to mention repairs take forever. Don’t go here.

This place is a total joke and is a MUST AVOID! My 2022 Outback has a minor scrape on the right rear door from a concrete pole. I took it in for an on-site estimate and was told that I would get their estimate in a couple of days. One week later I get an email that the estimate is only days away. After 2 weeks the estimate is finally sent. Would you believe $7000? Are you kidding me.? They mention wheels, L&R rear tail lights, rear bumper, electrical wiring, Vehicle diagnostics, car cover/bag interior, etc. I have worked on cars before and painted a couple, so I have a ball park figure of the costs... and this isn't even close in my humble estimation.

I replied that they must have my car mixed up with another car, or there is a huge mistake, or this a joke and that if not that they are a total rip off. No Response! One indicator of not being professional right away should had been that it took them 2 weeks to provide the estimate.

If you are considering them, I most strongly advise that you get several estimates from "reputable" firms. Good Luck!

I eventually went to the Subaru dealership
In Glendale and got an estimate. Their estimated cost was $1050. So much more reasonable, customer service focused, quality work and higher standards than Rip Off Eli’s!

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL KEEP YOUR CAR 5 TIMES LONGER THAN ESTIMATED, DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE, AND REFUSE TO FIX IT.

I scheduled service with Eli's in April, waited until my appointment on August 16th, as they needed 4 months to order parts for a 10 day repair. On August 14th, I was told I had to drop off my car that day or I would miss my August 16th appointment. I immediately left work and drove my car to drop it off. This was a simple scratched bumper repair so not urgent, but I didn't want to wait months for another appointment.

Two weeks after dropping the car off and paying for a rental, I reached out to Eli's to get my car back. Instead, I find out they needed to order parts and would keep my car another two weeks.

I continued to reach out repeatedly, as $35/day for a rental was adding up. Emails would go unanswered for days. Connie, the manager, would average 2+ days to provide any update on my 10 day repair.

Finally, after 54 days and $2300 in rental costs, I was offered my car back only to find the second I drove it off the lot that the alignment was so messed up that the car was unable to be driven. I pulled right back in and explained the issue. Eli's put me into a rental, kept my car another 4 days, only to tell me they were not responsible, refused to fix my car, and that I had to return the rental immediately.

Connie and Eli's stated they are not responsible for any damage to the vehicle because how could they know what it was like when I brought it in. I drove the car to the lot, and now it is unable to be driven, which Connie acknowledged, but still refused any responsibility for the damage Eli's caused while they had the car for 54 days.

AGAIN, NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE. ZERO STARS!!!

In response to Eli's reply:
No - you can't control timeline of ordering parts, which is why my appointment was 4 months into the future to order the parts. Once you had my car, it took more than 10 days (the total time of repair) and multiple emails and phone calls from me, before Eli's told me they needed to order parts to do the repair.

This was consistent with all communication with Eli's. No one answers the phone. Emails will take days to receive a reply, or get no reply at all and require multiple follow up emails. All documented if you would like to review all communications I had with Eli's so you can apologize instead of defending your terrible performance

No, you can't control an insurance company authorizing repairs, but you can control how quickly you send the estimates, which took days after you conducted the analysis and only AFTER I called up asking for my vehicle. Again, you could take responsibility for your terrible service.

As to the alignment, Connie, who claims to be the manager of 7 Eli's locations around southern california, repeatedly LIED to me. She explicitly stated that towing a vehicle will never mess up an alignment. She explicitly stated to me that Eli's has towed millions of cars and never messed up an alignment. Ask any mechanic and here a resounding "Yes", towing a vehicle can mess up alignment. How can your manager blatantly lie to customers and you defend her?

I drove the car to Eli's with no issue. I received it back 60 days later. I drove out of Eli's parking lot with a car that pulled so hard to the right that it could not be driven. I pulled immediately back into the parking lot. Eli's recognized the problem immediately, and was willing to pay $150 to give me a loaner vehicle, but not the $239 required to align the vehicle right then, same day, and get my car back to me.

You could have easily taken responsibility for items that are 100% your fault and completely in your control.

0 stars. I had family go here. They extort the insurance. Keep the car for as long as they can to fight for every dime they can get from insurance. Complete scam. Do not help these crooks.

Absolute nightmare if there were a way to leave a zero review I would. They are absolute theives... they charge 1$185.00 to leave your car in their unsecure lot and will steal your car and transfer it to their Inglewood location forcing you to pay for another tow to pick it up farther away even when they promise they willl let you leave it in their yard. Even when you tell them you do not authorize it. They will break into your car to put it on their tow truck. Without even the curtosey of a call to let you know that they are going to move it. Even while you are arranging for the insurance to move it. They will try to get you to sign authorizations and then write more damages after you have left than you have..... with no quotes given for the repairs. Beware!!!! Not only that they have a reputation of taking for ever to fix your car all so they can get more storage fees from your insurance company.

Took over 3 months to complete simple repair. Would not release my car to another shop. Did not pay for rental car. These guys are crooks, read their Yelp reviews.

AVOID AT ALL COST. My vehicle got in a fender bender, and the shop is holding on to my car over 4 months. Not worth it. Take your car to some other place.

I have a Toyota and submitted photos on their website for an estimate and no follow up at all. Oh well guess someone else wants that money
