Supervisor Kathryn Barger

Thank you for voting to end the eviction moratorium - even though you were the lone wolf....It is unfair for housing providers to shoulder the entire responsibility for housing. I saved and worked hard to own my home through good times and bad times and while I agree we are all in this together we are all not sharing the load. Mortgages still have to be paid, repairs still need to be done, taxes still need to be paid and utilities still need to be paid....Where is the help in stopping payments to water companies, trash companies, property taxes, plumbers? We took the risk to purchase property and our rights are being trampled on. Where is our protection? Again, thanks for your support!

I contacted Kathryn Berger’s office on a Thursday and by Thursday evening, my nephew who has terminal cancer was resting comfortably for the first time in 4 weeks. We had been ignored by every government office in Lancaster, until contacting her. Katherine Barger is my hero and I am eternally grateful for her help and kindness. Thank you, Kit Perkins

I was contacting Supervisor Bargers office today, about our current situation in Lancaster at Desert MACC and instead after reading below decided because of my current situation and what this DJJ- Nonya- wrote below. I will give her staff five stars for ignoring the veterans, any Military, Coast Guard, licensed health care workers, Fire, Police, Sheriffs, Highway Patrol, and any and all First Responders. Why? because of what happened to my mother at Pico Rivera Healthcare that was like a submarine at Liberty Square San Diego, the victim of an unreported enemy attack only over and over no just once. Good job, KB's staff. If they can't walk in they probably don't clean their own shoes!

I really really support Kathryn Barger’s view of ending the mask mandate! She’s one of the only people that gets it after seeing governor Newsom and mayor Garcetti maskless at the Sofi stadium game. The Mask Mandate must end immediately in Los Angeles. It no longer makes sense.

In her first year, Supervisor Barger has visited my community -- the unincorporated town of Altadena -- at least four times. She's been easy to contact, either directly or through her field representative, and conscientiously responsive to community concerns. I couldn't be happier with her representation.

They don't handle complaints well but at least they are respectful. Sheila Khuel's office on the other hand...

Not representing the constituents of the Antelope Valley very well.

Government does not pay to replace windows in people's homes due to a smell. You are allowing toxic chemicals to sicken the people of our community and it will not be tolerated. This is not about a smell, it has gone on too long and you need to shut down the landfill now.

Ignores veterans, ignores licensed Healthcare workers and in spite of her lip service doesn't support police, fire or any other first responders.
She was contacted by a veteran and Healthcare worker that had reported a local hospital for violating Patient rights amongst other significant care issues. Complaint was founded. Reached out to this office for assistance after being retaliated against for stepping up for patient safety.

I contacted this office repeatedly seeking assistance and got nothing but the run around. I finally tried to reach out to this person on Social media. She actually responded saying she had no requests for help from me merely days after she acknowledged I was unhappy with the way I was treated. So which is it Kathryn?

She is currently standing firm as well as her staff on completely ignoring me. The message from Kathryn and her staff is crystal clear. To all Healthcare workers. If you see bad patient care look the other way because nobody will support you. Nobody will have time for you. Nobody will give you the time of day. Thank you for that clarification Kathryn. Your attempts at trying to create plausible deniability won't fly while you sit back as every person in the community is at risk. This woman and her staff is negligent in their most basic function which is the safety of the community.

To top it all off last week one of her incompetent staff stated that "nobody was going to die" as a result of the negligence that I reported and was founded by regulatory agencies. It's ironic that this beaurocrat with zero healthcare experience knows better than someone with 35 years of healthcare experiencer and was a former ER director. But this is the people that Barger hires.

Barger also blocks people that criticize her on social media which is a violation of the first amendment. She and her staff display incompetence and rudeness to cover for the fact they are bullies. I would also like to mention the incompetence of Eric Diaz and childish attempts of Tony who is a sad impotent little man that thinks he can threaten people because he doesn't like their political speech.

Contacted Kathryn's office. Was blown off and swept under the rug. Time for new leadership. She had my vote. NEVER again!

She's not a very good supervisor or leader. The general public has no access to her. Serious complaints and issues doesn't reach her desk. There's no way to contact her personally, which leaves her staff to decide issues on their own unchecked which leads to corruption, which is exactly what's going on at this office right on her WATCH. She does not watch her staff for corruption nor fairness and her deputy staff is indeed corrupt. Bad and inattentive staff. Her office is just bad all the way around. She needs to be replaced and have a complete staff replacement from the top to the bottom.
I myself has been having serious issues with this office going on 2 years now that have not been resolved. For example I over heard what seemed to be some of the staff members laughing at my situation. So I know first hand.
