Virginia Avenue Park

Virginia Avenue Park is in my neighborhood. I love taking my dogs for a walk through the park. Lots of grass and trees, with picnic tables and one of the best playgrounds for kids. The Pico Library is in the park and opens at noon during weekdays. There are lots of places for picnics and birthday party celebrations surrounded by trees and plenty of grass. There are clean restrooms and water fountains. There is a lot of shade in the summer and kids will love the splash fountains to cool off and play. There are basketball courts and every weekend there is a farmer's market on Saturday. The park has plenty of walkabout restaurants nearby and coffee shops. There is parking provided by the park. It is one of my favorite things about this neighborhood.

Virginia Avenue park is next to Pico library. The park is amazing. Play ground for the kids, people relaxing and reading books, basketball court. People also hold meetings in library.

I recently visited Virginia Avenue Park in Santa Monica and was very pleased with my experience. The park is small but very cozy. The green lawns and shady trees create a pleasant atmosphere. I was especially impressed with the well-equipped children's playground — it's the perfect place for kids. The park also has sports courts and picnic areas, making it a great spot for family outings. I enjoyed being able to take a leisurely walk or exercise in the fresh air. Overall, Virginia Avenue Park is a fantastic place to spend time with family or just to relax.

I Lovelace Park it has a library located in it it's the the Pico library. There's plenty of things for the kids to do. Plenty of activities go on in the library and in the park. There's always something going on at the park there's an activity center for the youth and in addition to that there's a farmers market that comes on Saturday mornings I believe. On the way to the park if you're coming from the West on Pico boulevard there's this mural that's their check it out. Virginia Park also has the branch of the Santa Monica public Library. There's a children's section in the as you walk into your left to the right you'll find some fiction books the library isn't as the library is down town. Any books that you wish you would wish to check out from the main branch library are available here. There's a splash play area for the children along with a small playground. In addition to that there are tables with barbecue grills available, although there are not too many.

This park nice, neat, green and clean. There are kids playground, picnic tables, clean restrooms and basketball courts. You can walk, jog, picnic or just lay down on the green grass. There is also a library in the park for those who enjoy reading. There are so many parking spaces inside the park (EV charging stations in some spaces) and on street.

The splash pad during the summer is the best for little kids! Lots of green space for picnics and bbq. The library and the Saturday farmer's market are also great. The basketball courts get a lot of use, as do the green spaces for soccer and workouts and gatherings. Community spaces and playgrounds are also nice. A wonderful neighborhood park, and lots of activities for locals.

Phenomenal park that has a great farmer's market on Saturdays from 8 AM to 1 PM. A branch of the Santa Monica Public library is adjacent to it. There are great playgrounds for children and shaded areas under trees to relax.

Nice park to go to with family and friends, there is a small water play area for kids age 1yr and up. Parking on both sides of the park

Great park. Has everything even a library. Saturday farmers market. Watch out for homeless camping around. Should have a community service officer there fulltime

Nice and clean in every way they let you set up a tent for party. And great place for kids to have fun.

What a gem! This park wasn't so nice when I was a kid. It's become a truly great neighborhood park for everyone -- in the middle of the city. It has a water play area, a great playground for all ages, library, community center, basketball courts, clean bathrooms, tables and benches perfect for chess. Seems well used, loved and appreciated by people in the neighborhood of all ages. When the farmer's market isn't there, there is ample free parking. You'd never know the 10 fwy was two blocks away.

It's a very nice park. For everyone. Place for kids, young adults and seniors. A next door library is amazing. Weekly farmers market on Saturday mornings are good. Beautiful trees and splash pad for everyone. Whole foods is just opposite of this park for quick bite and nice coffee shop. Other restaurants around the park makes it a complete park. Very easy to spend a whole day strings this park. Don't forget to play basketball in the two open courts. 😇

Great big beautiful park in my neighborhood. Meet loads of interesting people there.
Dog friendly and vast. Including the Pico branch library and the Fitness Center and Teen Center.

This is an incredible place to park. And by park, I mean sit in my car and watch people enjoying their public space.
And when I'm in my car, I often feel so free and satisfied and grateful..... I've been known to just nod out with a little vacant smile on my face.

Clean park and the room rental that we had was spacious. Kids had a blast.

Nice well maintained park. Offering many service's for seniors and residents. A library on site. A very nice park. Good welcoming atmosphere. Locals from the so-called pico neighborhood frequent this park. Friendly folks. Stop in and get to meet some new friends

great activities for kids. They also have a great program for kids from 0 to 5 on Monday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. . I love this park. They show movies in the summer. They also have a great Farmers Market as well. The play area is nice and always clean. It's one of my favorite go-to parks with my daughter

This park is such a gem. I love going. It has so much to offer. They even have a Library and activities for young children plus basketball courts and Farmers Market on Saturday.

Nice park. It's pretty small. It has a water play area that I'm sure kids absolutely love. The restrooms are alright but usually have no tissue. Also there is no dispensary for soap to wash your hands with. The library is absolutely tiny. It's probably great for kids, not so much for older students. But overall this is a lovely park. There are some homeless people there at night but they actually seem like nice regulars there.
