The receptionist Sophia was extremely rude over the phone. Please learn how to respond to customers in a more respectful and helpful manner instead of a smart mouth, its embarrassing.

Jay Ruby and the staff at "A Action Tax" have proven to be completely unreliable, uncommunicative, and unprofessional. They should call themselves Inaction Tax. In October 2018, Jay said I wouldn't qualify for an Offer in Compromise on back taxes I owed, but he offered to negotiate with the IRS to decrease the penalties and interest. I signed a Power of Attorney and waited to hear the results. That was the last I heard from them!! For six months they initiated no communications with me. Only after I repeatedly called and emailed for a status report was I was told that I needed to provide more information. This was false. I provided everything they needed back in October. A few days ago I got a notice in the mail from the IRS stating that my balance due had gone to collections!!! Again I tried to contact Jay Ruby and his staff - to no avail. When I went into the office physically on Saturday April 13th(I did NOT want to give them our tax return business again, but my husband did) I asked why I hadn't been contacted or notified of the outcome of their negotiations. Jay informed me, rudely - and after struggling to remember the facts of the case - that they couldn't do anything for me(!!) Thanks for letting me know!! Now it's in collections! He shrugged! And then he insulted me and said I was irresponsible for not paying my taxes!!! I will be reporting these idiots to the California Board of Accountancy and the Better Business Bureau for breach of fiduciary duty. Stay away from these rude, arrogant, incompetent morons.

Lady on the front desk is so rude, Unporfesstional,
