Douglas Park

I like this little park. It's great for little ones and toddlers too. Gated which helps to corale the kiddos! There are restrooms and a grass area with trees. Good for older kids as well. There's also a little pond/stream with ducks and hummingbirds. There's also picnic benches and just sitting benches. What else? Parking is well....parking in the middle of Santa Monica. Metered and then at the back of the park, on the play area side there is free 2 hour parking. Plus is Starbucks is close by if you need caffeine first!

A great public park with something for everyone. Playground for littles, skate bowl, tennis court, grass, duck pond, lawn bowling, shaded areas, and most importantly restrooms and water fountains. Plus there's a Starbucks nearby.... An ideal spot.

Great little park for children, my granddaughter loves the turtles and ducks in the pond. She also enjoyed the playground area . Caution: The slides and swings do get very hot in the afternoon.

Beautiful evening spent watching kids play & 🐤ducklings followed by their mama. So glad that the rocks🪨 are open again. Where the daredevil in all of us comes out to hop over some boulders above a running stream. We fetched a Chinese Chicken salad 🥗from Calif. Chicken Cafe, just a 3 min walk, to eat in the park. Kids are free to roam here, climb trees, jump rocks, feed the ducks clover🍀 & grass. Restrooms are decent
We felt safe here, despite some vagrants near Wilshire Blvd. This the perfect size for a neighborhood park! 🏞

Very nice park with turtle pond play ground and more.

This park is in Santa Monica, Ça. It is clean, green and beautiful. There are 2 free tennis courts, skating ring, picnic tables, kids playground and 4 clean restrooms. There are free and meter parking around the park.

A Santa Monica institution that has regaled several generations.
Our daughter enjoys the duck ponds and saying quack quack.
There’s a mini skate board rink, 2 tennis courts, a well maintained children’s closed play area for kids 5-12, several duck ponds, restrooms, free 2 hour parking across the street, lots of benches and walkways.
Overall a decent park for kids with enough activities that will keep them coming back for more.

Love coming here to check out the ducks and turtles. I see lots of children, families, picnic benches to sit for a casual al fresco meal.

A small park good for children and adults,. What is unique about it is it has little ponds for wild ducks. Not one or two or several, it has dozens, swimming and finding things to eat. Sometimes they fly around, it is really fun to watch them doing their business. Shout out to the city of Santa Monica for doing a good job in preserving the environment that the ducks choose to live in.

I grew up playing at this park. It's still fun to visit. Lots of ducks and other birds to watch. Baby ducklings are very cute. Several shades picnic tables available as well as an enclosed playground for youngsters. There are also two free-to-use tennis courts.

A little spot of calm and relstation amid the hustle and bustle of santa moni've seen them all in a couple.

Bring bread for the ducks. Maybe a bike for the kid. Clean bathrooms. A nice stop if you want to avoid the busy areas and you have kids.

Lots of families with their kids playing in the playground. Nice place to walk around. There were a few homeless but not a bother to anyone

Safe and fun! There's a few ponds with ducks, geese, fish and turtles. It's very kid friendly.

Park holds a lot of people experiencing homelessness. But still a nice spot to watch the ducks (don't feed them!), ha e the kids play and grab the occasional party or lunch with a friend.
