I’ve been working with Erin since 2007. She is incredibly thorough, efficient, and remembers everything from the past year(s). She is consistently up to date on all of the tax changes that occur, and lets me know how the changes affect me. Further, her team is responsive and so helpful when I have general questions. I recommend her to all of my friends. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my taxes!

I've used E&M for years for my taxes and have always been extremely happy with their work. Erin, Sara, Koree and the team have been fantastic. We moved to TX from CA this year and they helped us with a number of issues including marriage, moving, investing, and home questions.

We even got hit with a tax bill as CA was coming after my wife and I for over $500 because they said we didn’t have health insurance for all of 2021. E&M handled it like pros and not only is this handled but we got a refund check for $95 as the state made an error. These ladies are always super helpful in giving tips on how to file to avoid fees and extra costs, while doing the right thing legally and are super ethical and professional. We also feel really prepared and confident moving forward with our home, rental income, side jobs and other income and expenses moving forward, and will continue to use them. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend to anybody both in and out of California to assist with taxes as they are an excellent value and professional and really insightful.

I unfortunately did not enjoy my time with E&M. They were helpful in the beginning when I was getting set up but then I found it really hard to get answers to questions I had after that. I was so new to the process of creating an S-corp this just made it even more overwhelming. They were affordable but just not a great match for what I needed.

I'm begging you as a fellow business owner who cares, please avoid E&M at all costs. They would rather falsify important, financial documents than give you the time, attention, and care that you deserve as a paying customer in order to take on tons of clients and make as much money as possible. They will treat you like a burden for asking them to do their jobs, and make you feel as if you are unreasonable for believing you should treated be with respect. As a black woman and a business owner, I can say with certainty that E&M does not value my business or care about my financial future. You work hard for your money and deserve better than what they can give you.
