Lorene Catala Boisvert, DDS at BioSmile Dentistry

I had my first visit with Dr. Lorene and I will most certainly be coming back. The office is beautiful, clean and neat. Everything looks modern and state of the art. The staff was friendly and helpful, and clearly explained the insurance and financial side. Lorene took her time to hear me out and thoroughly explained the problem and possible solutions. I have a complicated case, needing implants from a recent car accident that knocked out a couple of my teeth and broke a few more. All in all, I didn’t feel, rushed or taken advantage of, and feel better informed with a clear plan for the future procedures. I will be recommending BioSmile to my friends and family without a hesitation.

This is simply the best dentistry in LA. Very professional, very knowledgeable, super clean. I feel great and comfortable every time I go in knowing I will receive excellent care. I highly recommend BioSmile!

Dr. Boisvert is the most competent and caring dentist that I have ever experienced in my 80 plus years. She takes the time to be sure that every move she makes is in the best interest of long term dental health. When I broke a filling on a front tooth, she was able to fit me in for an urgent repair which was flawless. Highly recommended

This is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. The staff and Dr. Boisvert are so intentional from when you step into the office until you leave. They are really for the patient by taking time to listen to any dental complaints or discomforts. Truly one of the best out there!

Great welcome , outstanding service , fast and precise with excellent explanations. I had to treat some teeth 🦷 as hurting and had a cleaning procedure to do. Highly recommend the team ! And the doctor also speaks French :)

My wife and I have been looking for a Biological dentist and found Dr Boisvert while searching Yelp. We live in La Quinta, CA and drove all the way to Santa Monica to see her. Dr Boisvert and her staff are amazing and our experience was excellent. She reviewed our needs and explained everything thoroughly. I am having my mercury fillings removed as everyone should do (use SMART protocol). We will be returning again and so happy we found our new dentist office!

I went to this office to have a second opinion on some dental work that was suggested to me. The care I received here was exceptional. Staff were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Boisvert was amazing. She explained everything completely, was as thorough as anyone could have been and very considerate! I would recommend this office to anyone. I will be a patient here going forward.

This dental office is awesome. Dr Boisvert is kind, present and thorough in her exam. The staff is kind and considerate. I’m so happy I found them. Update: Okay, I love my new dentist office! I had my first cleaning with them today and normally I get a little anxious. It was such a pleasant experience. I am feeling so grateful. I have a long dental journey ahead of me and I am so happy to have found this practice. Dr. Boisvert and all of her staff are amazing.
Update: I had another great visit with this amazing doctor and her wonderful staff. I can’t recommend this dental office enough.

This is the addendum to my previous post- January 2024: I just got back from the appointment and although the additional work on my teeth feels really awkward and in fact, I cannot chew right now but I know in the end this is all going to be worth it. I guess I won’t be able to chew for six months or so and hopefully that doesn’t lead me to have digestive problems.

I love Dr. Boiscert for being so kind and soft speaking. I have had many seizures in my life that made up with huge damage to my Jeep and so I have to do a whole mouth reconstruction and it’s a lot of money I’m fat and it cost a lot but I just trust her to do the work and we have just started today. I am hoping that this will work out as this has been my lifelong problem

I have been seeing Dr. Boiscert for a few years now. And I just discussed certain treatment plan to get my chapped teeth in place, and have some proper alignment for my jaw and my mouth so that I can eventually have implants and have nice healthy mouth. It’s very costly and very expensive but I trust her to do the work, and hopefully everything works out in the end.
Update- thank you for today’s - it feels like we are making progress!!!

Dr. Boisvert is an amazingly talented dentist and her team and technology are all top notch. I needed intricate work with a problem tooth / crown and the whole process was seamless. Even the temporary crown felt great and the final one fit like a glove. Not to mention she’s a biological dentist- meaning - no toxicity in your mouth! I highly recommend Dr Boisvert. I’m SO grateful!

Dr. Boisvert and the whole Biosmile team is absolutely wonderful! My experience there couldn't have been better. I had issues with one of my upper teeth and the Biosmile team saved my tooth. I don't have all the money in the world and Dr. Boisvert helped me with payment plans. I am fortunate to have found such caring dental professionals! Take care of your smile as much as you can and come to this awesome Dentist office. These lovely ladies are so nice and caring. I highly recommend!

If I could give them 6 stars I would! They are worth more than 5 stars! I have been very skeptical and particular about going to the dentist in the past, due to unpleasant experiences, Doctors selling you stuff you don't need, over promising and under delivering. BUT I MOST SAY, Dr Lorene Catala Boisvert at Bio Smile is the BEST! The staff is amazing, it definitely is a great environment and they take really good care of you! They take the time to review your situation, advice you on what are the best options and provide honest and good solutions for your treatments. I am very happy with the results and they way I was treated! If you are skeptical like me about going to the dentist, look no further, Dr. Lorene Catala Boisvert and her staff are the Best! Let me start by saying that Dr. Boisvert is very gentle and kind! I was told to see her from my previous dentist in France and I am so glad I listened because I made the right choice. Always willing to help and find a solution to unfortunately all my dental issues. Dr. Boisvert always goes over everything that we need to do and it makes me feel comfortable. She has done some pretty big interventions on me and the work is done very well!!!! Thank you so much Doctor and I would like to also thank the staff that's really amazing.

Dr. Boisvert and her staff make up the best dentist + dental office experience I’ve ever had! From the front office staff to hygienist/assistants, to Dr. Boisvert herself, everyone is absolutely lovely and gracious and a pleasure to interact with. I had been looking for a biological dentist in west LA for a long time, and feel very lucky to have found this office.

Dr. Boisvert uses the highest quality, BPA-free materials from Europe for fillings and bondings. She’s also very patient, thoughtful, responsive and attentive in addressing all questions and concerns. While getting my fillings done today, the staff put on a nature documentary which helped me relax and was really enjoyable to watch.

And until Dr. Boisvert, I’d also never had any other dentist in decades care enough to actually do something about my concerns regarding the permanent metal retainer behind my bottom front teeth. As soon as I mentioned it, she was quick to perform diagnostic scans and discuss various options and strategies with me, leaving the choice up to me based on what I felt most comfortable with / am willing to spend on a potential solution.

The experience feels collaborative and very humanistic. Truly the best dentist ever and I’m very grateful to have found her!
