This place is great! WOOH the food is so good and the portions are the best part! I just went here today for the first time and I was beyond impressed!

First-The location is right off the street and there is some parking nearby but obviously still a little limited. They have outdoor seating and definitely decent inside seating as well and room for larger parties! The atmosphere is nice and calm and the staff is really friendly and very attentive. They know the menu well and make the experience pleasant.

Second-The food was PHENOMENAL! I got the breakfast combo, so I got two eggs/ 2 pancakes and added chocolate chips with a couple strips of bacon and some white toast and coffee. The coffee is really good and they give you big cups as well! The bacon was perfectly cooked how I liked it, the pancakes were so filling and the syrup hit the spot! The eggs perfectly cooked was the best part! Definitely go here and enjoy everything they have to offer!

Best brunch ever !! So glad my bf and I came across this gem , we try to come here anytime we are in town , the staff is amazing.. I have never had a bad experience here , the food is fresh with quality you can taste , the portion of food you get is great and the price you can't beat , I was shocked ! It's very family friendly ... and did I mention they have the BEST eggs Benedict EVER .??!

Got the stuffed French toast (shown below), which was quite tasty. However the prices can be a tad high, and maybe it's because they're right on Wilshire. Also the wait for a table and for the food was a lot, but maybe it's because I went around brunch time (Sunday around noon) and there wasn't as many people staffed. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for this visit.

Excellent service! Emmanuel rocks! I have been coming here on and off for 12 years, and the quality and service has never waned. This time I had the French toast combo. It came out fresh and piping hot within 5 to 10 minutes of having ordered it. Kudos to the chef! I would recommend Bread & Porridge to anyone who wants a fabulous breakfast experience. This place is a true gem!

Fresh food and orange juice, staff is very helpful, always a great meal.

Super friendly service, a very charming atmosphere and of course the food is perfect! I had a California omelet and it features lots of yummy avocado, comes with fresh fruit mmmmm, and we had our iced teas refilled the whole time. Plus a side of their slightly crispy fries which are so delicious. Yum.

Unique business plan. Every worker has the opportunity to be in each role learning the whole restaurant. In other words, the cook might be your waiter next week and the busboy the host. The food is always fresh, made to order, and tastes great. The reasonable price also makes it a place where we can go to often.

A neighborhood favorite! Safe and easy pickup during COVID, but great atmosphere inside for when indoor dining comes back. Portions are huge, omelettes delicious (California omelette a personal favorite), and service is always quick and friendly. I’ll be going often!

I've tried to have breakfast here on every visit to LA/SM for most of the 24 years it's been here. My favorite breakfast place anywhere, and lots of others seem to agree, as there's almost always a wait, even after they doubled their size. French press coffee, many bacon & sausage options, organic eggs, big menu, and all delicious.

Best costumer service I have received. All the workers smiled when serving the food. We showed up late and they didnt even treat us differently. When they found out we didnt like mushroom in an omelet we ordered, they changed it free of charge, even doe it was our mistake. 10/10

Finding this place was a nice. It feels almost like home. The environmental is always important to me because I'm introverted. Around 10:20am its quiet and peaceful you can sit on the couch on your laptop. Or you can watch TV and eat. Very Euphoric

The black beans and salsa is great with any omlet you choose. I like the country omlet. The potatoes are yummy and the dripped coffee is delicious. Get the three egg omlet if you are very hungry. Will fill you up for the entire day.

First time there. The food and coffee were very good. The special sausages were a wonderful delight as well. Will definitely go back.

It's a great place for home style breakfast. The sausages are actually really delicious? Would definitely visit again.

It has been years since I have eaten there, but the BBQ Beef Brisket was really good. Four to Five stars for the restaurant.
