Calvary Chapel Saint George

My favorite church that I go to every time I'm in St George, Utah...Praise him!

I love attending Calvary Chapel SG. I moved to St George two years ago and started attending almost immediately. People are loving. Preaching is great because its verse by verse. I started going to a Life Group and feeling connected.

I've had the privilege of attending this church for 14 years. During that time, our family has experienced a spectrum of life events. The birth of children. The death of a parent and a sibling. Unexpected health emergencies and accidents. Joyous occasions. The church, its staff, its elders and leaders, and co-parishioners have been there for all of it to support us, pray with us, grieve with us, or celebrate with us. I am beyond grateful for this church.

This is a non-denominational church that focuses on teaching from the Holy Bible. Book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, God's word is taught. There isn't a "sectarian spin" or denominational slant. Just the word.

Pastor Jerry is a dynamic, God-loving, spiritual, and passionate teacher, as is his predecessor, Pastor Rick (who now heads up a retreat ministry for the church). Music is a large part of the service, with a contemporary Christian worship band with guitars, drums, keyboards, bass, and vocalists. I highly, highly recommend this church. It has been great for my family - especially the kid's programs.

Most beautiful place I have ever been to. Pastor Jerry is amazing & thank you so much for listening to God & accepting your path as a pastor. You truly have touched my heart & let God come back into my life even stronger than it ever has in the past. You are relatable, funny, and honest. Your honesty and openness about who you were in the past allows me to be honest and open about myself as well. Thank you for showing me the Grace of God. You are truly and incredible man & I appreciate all the hard work you do each week to help God touch the souls and hearts of many, and to be their main picture again. :) God Bless & Amen.

P.s. the music team is so beautifully talented, I love singing along with them and everyone else in the sanctuary. Truly have hearts of gold. The voices and instruments are just as beautiful as the lessons. Music is very touching to me and it always reaches my soul, so thank you for the beautiful songs you play.

P.p.s. I am very impressed with how clean the bathrooms always are, thank you volunteers!!

P.p.p.s. love the little book shop that you guys have, they have bibles for all stages of spiritual growth. Novices, competent, proficient, and if you have really practiced and grown spiritually, they also have ones that others see as "advanced". They also have free ones if you cannot afford to buy one of the others :) or if you want to give one to a friend.

P.p.p.p.s. everyone there is so friendly and caring, they always do their best to greet you and connect with you personally. God does wonderful things ❤❤💕💕

Big change our pastor had to step down due to health issues a very sad time for the congregation I’m very saddened by it and know that it was way worse for him to do so for after the lord and his family it was his life for so so long I’m going to miss his teachings I loved it so much easy to understand him and his personality and soft heart and sensitivity. He was one of the best pastors I’ve ever seen and known and heard. Not to mention a heck of a grandparent it’s nice to see the love for them in his eyes and words we were blessed for a long time and thank the lord for that and we’re being blessed with a good man and pastor that pastor rick made possible. Prayers for our pastor ricks healing and prayers for our pastor jerry and open arms for him and our love God is Good

I love this church. I was Buddhist, and now I am born again Christian because of the church and Pastor Rick. I love how he teaches. It is very easy for me to understand and apply them to my own life. It's always interesting, and I always anxious to learn when I go to church.

Been going to CSTG since we moved here from California. Same Bible teaching church. The Lord has blessed us

My dad, mom & I have been worshiping at Calvary Chapel St. George for 9 years & love the service. It's nice to know each week where (chapter by chapter) the Bible will be taught, prayer is encouraged along with sending workers & missionaries out. Lots of ways for all ages to be involved as we grow in Jesus.

A thriving church...we love ALL of Gods people!! If you are seeking to grow in your understanding of the Bible and applying it to your life then you will love this place. I happen to be the pastor's wife and I invite you to come and grow with us! Great contemporary worship, relaxed environment, great children's ministry etc. It is definitely not boring! God is on the move at CCSG!!!

If you have a desire to actually learn about and understand the books of the bible then Calvary Chapel is the place to be on Sunday. Pastor Camacho makes it very understandable as well as interesting. Glad I found Calvary Chapel.

This is a great church! The pastor taught directly from the Bible, rather than preach his own life experiences. The congregation was very friendly.

I got saved a Calvary back in '15 some of my family members also got saved through them. They're amazing and very friendly and teach right from the Bible no man to answer to God 🙏❤

We are from out of town and the website did not get updated so we were late to the service, however it was a great message. We were greeted at the door by friendly people,shown to our seats then stopped by locals to chat afterwards. Nice building, clean location,great friendly people.

We are from out of town, found this church to get some worship before our drive back. Great sermon and message will be back next time we are in town.

My Wife and I felt very comfortable here. We will be making this our church home. Really enjoyed the service.
