Wow what a hidden gem.
Came here for lunch and was blown away at how clean the place was and how delicious the food was.
I ordered the chicken with a side of babaganoush- a must!
I wish I had a authentic mom and pop Mediterranean spot in OC

I had the beef lulu kabob entree and it was really good.
The service was great with the staff being helpful and friendly.
Dining space is a good size and you won’t feel packed in.
I recommend this place.

I absolutely love having Janet’s Mediterranean Cuisine. Their food is always fresh and delicious. The kabobs, hummus, tabbouleh , and Greek salad are juicy and flavorful. I really like their rice and warm bread. 🥰
I order the combo plate for two people. It feeds the 4 of us. I get take out often. Janet’s has a dining area. The service is friendly. It’s best to call to have your order ready because good food can’t be rushed. So happy I can get really good Mediterranean food close to home. I highly recommend this place.

I have visited Janet's many times. The food is always delicious! We made our way there yesterday with friends to share lunch together as a friend wanted to treat me for my birthday.
A staff member on break moved where she was sitting and helped push tables together so we could all sit together. She then sang Happy Birthday with us followed by a solo rendition of HBD in her language. Then, a male worker brought over some yummy baklava as a gift. Thank You Janet's team for being so sweet. I was truly touched by your sweet gestures. We will be back. ❤

Ordered combo for two and chicken kabob entrée for 3 people. Salad was very fresh, meats were cooked perfectly, and their rice was heavenly tasty. I will definitely come back for more.

Excellent food!! Very flavorful and delicious. It’s one of my fav Mediterranean places out here and I am from the Mediterranean area.
Also I catered for 10 people for a work event and everyone was absolutely in love with the food!
Just a minor recommendation: if they can make it less salty to accommodate people that don’t like too much salt in their food it would be fantastic.

The food is excellent. Customer service is great. They give you a lot of food so be prepared lol

There aren't that many restaurants here. I've found 2 kabob places and both are good. This one gives garlic sauce that made the food better. Service was excellent. If I go back to Duarte again, I'll definitely stop by.

Love the hummus, falafel, and salads! Big portion and delicious. The hummus is fresh, it doesn’t taste sour as you typically buy in the grocery store.

When I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and smells that reminded me of restaurants in the Middle East. Entrees are cook to order. I ordered grape leaves, the Hummus Special and a Greek salad. Portion size easily serves two. Will be returning soon!

This restaurant survived a fire and a pandemic and thank God it did. Their food is so fresh and delicious. I could eat the salad every day. You order at the counter, seat yourself and wait for your number to be called. They are expanding the seating area which is great. The menu includes general Mediterranean cuisine. I had chicken kabob, rice salad, humus and pita bread. It was portioned perfectly and the chicken, moist and well seasoned. 😋

Great food . Must try the shawarma sandwich. Great service.. there was huge rush but they kept eye contact and informed that it's being prepared and top it off offered a free baklawa.. thats customer service...

Got the Lule Kebab dinner to go. Everything was delicious! The kebab was well seasoned and flavorful, the salad had a really good dressing, and the rice was really good. Most places don't put much effort into the sides, but Janet's does.

You absolutely HAVE to get a side of garlic sauce, because the sauce here is better than almost every other Mediterranean restaurant I've been to (and I've been to a lot).

I'm not a hummus fan, so if you're wondering why I left that out, it's because I didn't try it. I don't eat it from any restaurant, so I can't offer any advice on it.

Found this place on google and it didn’t disappoint. Plenty of tables to dine in. Definitely recommend it.

Some of the best mediterranean food in the area.

The portions are large and freshly made.
Sides, salads, bread and garlic are all similarly large and fresh.

As such, this place gets very busy but well worth it.

Been coming here for years when Janet was still the owner, the food and menu is still the same came here with my daughter.

We had a wonderful experience the only thing I noticed not up to par was the salad, Janet would never use wilted lettuce 🥬 she would not allow that! Next time I'll take a picture and post it!

The food was amazing. Way better than I was expecting. The amount of food you get is totally worth the price, compared to other Mediterranean places. I will definitely be back.
