Ichiban Teriyaki

Just ate here , was not expecting what I got. The food was delicious. Mine was so good I ate half the wife's too lol definitely recommend a visit.

As soon as I entered the restaurant, the owner welcomed me with a bright smile. Her kindness had already impressed me, and I felt that the food she made was bound to be delicious. The house combo yakisoba was truly a work of art. The properly cooked vegetables, somen, shrimp, beef, and chicken proteins were so soft, and the seasoning was perfect. If someone were to ask me for a recommendation for a teriyaki restaurant, this would be the first place.

Food is always good. Service is great! I usually get it on my way to work, so I haven't eaten there.

When it comes to teriyaki, Ichiban Teriyaki is matchless. Not only when it comes to teriyaki, but when it comes to food in General. The choices, the flavors, and the convenience of having Ichiban Teriyaki is appreciated by me and I'm sure many others including the brave men and women of our nearby military bases. Fort Lewis Army and McChord Air Force Base. The food at Ichiban Teriyaki is well prepared, and what I mean by that is, that it's soo delicious you'll find yourself eating all the food on your plate if dining in or taking out, including every grain of rice. Yeah, it's that good. If by chance you happen to leave a grain of rice on your plate and you walk away thinking your meal is finished, hmmm, you know that feeling you get when you feel as though you lost your keys and you can't find them? Well, when you find Ichiban Teriyaki you find the love of a mother in the food and you'll find the love of a father in the food, and yes you'll find the love of a call home-cooked family meal and you will have found the keys to fulfilling your appetite in this area of Tacoma Washington in Pierce County. This place is fantastic. Spicy with a bite, but not too much to have to take my hat off. When I take my hat off, ok, we are talking heat! Would love to take this place to VA. Love my teriyaki, thx Ichibon

It's a little sketchy outside but it's really nice inside and they're very nice and the food is amazing

Hands down best teriyaki in Tacoma. Don't let's its location fool you this place is a hidden gem when it comes to taste and excellent customer service... oh did I mention that they are decently priced. It's always the same familiar face when you go in, and she always treats you like a friend! Highly recommend!

To go orders are preferred due to covid. Very nice people. House fried rice is delish!! Also sometimes they can come to your car if you pay by card with their portable card reader. I have no complaints!! #nomnom

As far as I'm concerned, Ichiban is the BEST Teriyaki I have ever tasted. I try to go once a month but even if it's been over a month they still remember me every single time I go in. I think that's AWESOME

Best Teriyaki in Tacoma & Pierce County! Everything is from scratch and all meats are charbroiled freshly made! Sauces and flavors authentic. Gourmet food and reasonably priced. Amazing family owned business. Great service. Clean & "homey". I will commute from wherever for this food.

This place rocks. Good prices, great portions, delicious food, friendly staff. Their chicken katsu is perfectly fried, the teriyaki hits the spot, and their tempura basket is really, REALLY good. Great quality rice too. One of my favorite spots on this side of town.

The woman that owns this restaurant is incredibly kind and friendly. I love their food here, not too sweet, great quality and delicious! Its nice to be treated like you are valued; sadly its not common these days.

The sefvice was welcoming despite having take out only. Rather than waiting inside, we were able to sit in our car and take masks off for a bit. The food was prepared fresh and stayed warm on the drive home.

The lady is very nice and we love coming here. We have been loyal fans since it was 3.99... The guy in the back does a great job with quick service! Love the lady she is so funny and sarcastic with the rude people!!
