This place brings Chinese food to a new level. Each dish is well thought out and designed. The presentation of the food is excellent. Service is great. Great place to bring a date or work functions :)

A fresh fusion take on food. We loved the Skewers and the Oysters. The garnishing on the lamb skewers was delicious. I loved the pepper and the oysters lived up to the expectations. Remember they have a happy hour on much of the food and you are going to love the food regardless of the prices. We did not experience the wine list or drinks but they had a good option list. The place is lively, bright and fun without being over crowded.

Thanks for the DineLA program, we were able to find this great restaurant with some great seafoods such as steamed scallops and steamed oystets at a great price at $3.98 and $2.98, respectively.

The uploaded pictures are steamed scallops, steamed oystets, garlic chicken wings, W J tofu, tend cubes, sweet & sour shrimp and shortrib & filet mignon skewers. This is only one or a few Chinese restaurants that calculates the sales tax based on pre-tax amount, plus only asks for a 12% services fee, commonly known as tips. The Chinese restaurant is also very clean, but most people do not know it because it is located on the third floor within the Hilton Hotel, San Gabriel.

High end Chinese food in San Gabriel Valley! Pretty hip place. The Eggplant and Braised Pork is the best!

Very authentic Chinese food. Menu is mostly in Chinese! Pork bun was very delicious! String beans and garlic was excellent.

This place is awesome. It's not often I see Biang Biang noodles on a menu. And they certainly delivered. If you're not familiar with Biang Biang noodles, they're a thin, wide flour-based noodle, often served in a spicy, cumin sauce with lamb. And that's exactly how they served it here. They get their name from the sound they make when they slap the table when being made. Anyhow, the lamb was braised to tender perfection. The noodles we're cooked with just a little bit of bite left. And the sauce had just the right amount of numbing from Sichuan peppercorns. I'd definitely come back and try their other dishes.

I’m impressed by the exemplary professionalism at this place. Much better service than 99% of Chinese businesses in the vicinity if not the LA area overall. Food is also authentic.

Gorgeous dinner spot with incredible food! Every table had a rose and candle, and service was great. Would be a great date spot!! We had the pea shoots and super thin sliced tongue, both amazing dishes. They have a rooftop balcony with string lights I'd like to check out next time.

Wonderful modern Chinese restaurant infused and influenced by varied Asian cuisines. The presentation, ambient, customer service and food were all excellent. There's an outdoor smoking area which is pretty rare in LA and the restaurant is also attached next to the Hilton. Definitely try the green cabbage appetizer, it's so unique and delicious.

Delicious lunch there with family members. Impressive the aroma dishes how they came up with. Eggplant was just perfect. And crispy pumpkin wrapped w/ salty egg york so creative and yummy.lamb chop cooked well. so did the the chicken and lamb screwers ..will come back definitely..

Awesome venue with awesome service! Food was excellent, especially liked the sautéed eggplant. Great range in style of cooking and favors. Located in a busy dining center with a nearby bakery and dessert place if you want to walk around after dinner. Overall, great experience.

Much fancier place than I expected. There is beef tataki, beef ribs. Oh my they have the most tender ribs ever!! Food comes in small portion and fancy presentation if you’re into that. The food is great and service is great. Keep in mind that a 12 percent service fee is already included.

My Wife Sophie and I had a craving today and decided to introduce one of my besties to this food extravaganza experience. As always, never a disappointment and always a surprise. There are always a new variety of decadent dishes on the menu. Today we tried their scallops and prawns and it was absolutely heaven. My Wife, Bestie, and I are already planning our next big group visit!

Best service of any restaurant in the area. Fantastic flavors. The menu prices may look a bit high, but the portion size is equally huge. They take reservations and there is plenty of parking. This really is a five star win all around.

You know what i appreciate? I restaurant that listens to its patrons, like they REALLY listen.
They see a flaw and they do their very best to fix it to please their clients.

Per my last experience, I had only chick peas and tofu. I expressed my concern via YELP and I was heard! This is exactly what I Thank YELP for, this Platform lets restaurant owners hear the cry of its patron and here I am, finally able to dine with the rest of the human population, instead of sitting at my little corner.

I digress, Sorry for the exaggeration but its def. hard to be a vegan/vegetarian dining in SGV. I am thankful that Chang'an had offered a bit more options for people like myself.

My favorite of everything is their specialty Salad and the Crispy tofu.

It is crunchy on the outside and silky smooth on the inside, perfection!

Another delicious dish is their HAND MADE sesame noodle! So chewy and perfect with each bite, I loved it so much I didn't want to share with my boyfriend.
