Andy is awesome! He has fixed broken pipes, installed a water heater, found and repaired leaks on several occasions for us at more than one property. We’ve called him at 9:00pm and received a quick response from him with an appt the next morning. He is our go-to plumber!

We needed several plumbing repairs done to a nearly 60 year old house with galvanized pipes. I called and Andy the owner scheduled a appointment with me. He showed up on time up and came up with a plan explaining what likely would need to be done based on what they found behind the walls/floor. Old toilet flange would need to be replaced and leveled. Two shower mechanisms needed to be replaced along with the old galvanized pipes and shutoff valves added. We needed a bathtub spout with a side shower attachment. He kept me apprised of his progress and when he would show up. Andy was very conscientious and took precautions to minimize any inconvenience. He would consult with me before proceeding so I would know where things would placed and how it would look. He had to make a lot of noise with a power tool at times and provided me with ear plugs. Choosing a plumber isn’t just about the cost, it is about building a trusting relationship with someone who will get the job done right. Andy and his crew are the best!!!!!

Andy Segura, aka Dr Drain has provided excellent service on all occasions. The latest was a big main drain job. I made a mistake and called another because of a $49.99 Clear or it's free Coupon. This error in judgement cost me dearly. Plumbing companies offering discount coupons are a "come-on" marketing strategy to "Up-Sell" additional work you may or may not need. This company went from $49.99 to $3,718 to estimate $11-12K to $17K to over $20K. They used False Evidence Appearing Real (F.E.A.R.) to coerce a quick uninformed work authorization out of me. I called Andy for a second opinion. He concurred w/evidence (main sewer drain breaks, cracks and severe root invasion) however, his estimate was less than half of the other plumbing company! I ended up paying off the other company to walkaway and hired Andy to finish. The job was lining 90' upper and lower lateral sewer drain down to the city connection. Andy's team completed the task in less than 4 hrs total! It looks like all new seamless pipe, viewing the drain through a video camera. I and the tenants are very pleased it went so quickly. The lining is warrantied 15 years plus 10 yrs of labor including free clearing if the drain should ever stop up again w/normal use.

I've used Dr Drain Rooter for several of my plumbing needs over 5 years. From replacing a burst water heater on a holiday weekend, to various drain and pipe issues. Andy is prompt, professional, reasonable priced, and you can count on the work to be to code and the space clean when he is done!

I recently had an emergency sewer back up. I say emergency because my house was flooding from both toilets and tub and shower with raw sewage. As soon as I called Andy he was on his way. When he arrived he noticed water coming out of the sewer lid in the street. Andy immediately got on the phone to the city and had a truck dispatched to our street but in the mean time Andy was able to open the sewer line and record it for the the city guys to see. Andy was able to locate and mark the area in the city line that was full of roots. The evidence Andy provided to my attorney was more then enough to have the damage to our home paid for by our insurance and the city. Dr Drain Andy's the best

Andy was attentive to our plumbing problem. We called him late Saturday and he came first thing this morning on a Sunday and fixed everything. Stopped the leak and got everything working back to normal. Very reliable. Thank you Dr. Drain.

CONTINUED PROBLEMS WITH YOUR SEWER LINE?

I used Dr. Drain's expertise about 23 years ago. I owned apartments in San Gabriel. There was one unit downstairs that consistently had sewer back ups as the neighborhood grew in population. During one incident, I called to SGFD to help with the flooding outside and inside the unit. I was told that the sewer lines were too small to handle the increase in use due to the increase of population and the sewage would move slowly creating a backup in the sewer line. Hence creating a back up in the buildings flow out to the street. While living in the building, there were probably about six sewer back ups which spilled sewage from the toilet and bathtub of the downstairs unit.

The apartment unit had many total restoration work done and many clean ups and sanitation work done. I contacted various plumbers over the years and their solution was to clean out the pipes leading to the street. Obviously, this was not the solution as the backup continued.

During another backup incident, I called Dr. Drain's owner, Andy and explained to him what the problem was and what I had heard from the SGFD. Andy had a solution and he took time to explain it to me in laymen terms and it all made sense. There was some extensive digging and new pipe engineering done and a few thousand of dollars later, the sewer back ups completely stopped! Andy listened, understood the issues and had the correct solution.

Twenty years later, the building was sold and there was never a back up during those 20 years after Andy did his magic. Dr. Drain is well worth your time, effort and peace of mind. I highly recommend Dr. Drain Rooter and Hydro Jett!

I've used Dr. Drains services various times. The thing about a qualified plumber vs your cousin or friend or even yourself looking at youtube videos is simply knowledge and experience. NEVER was something suggested that wasn't needed but conversely he won't act like a band aid can fix a real problem just because you don't want to spend the money.

Ultimately, he thoroughly describes what you need to quickly fix your problem and let's you decide what you want to do. I will say this... if you do what's suggested you won't need to calm him back out for the same problem again.
