So far, the VA has helped me think better due to counseling. They help keep my system under control with the proper meds and prosthetics. They helped me not pass out by installing a pacemaker.
And they saved my life when I had cancer.
While no system is perfect, the American Lake VA has been a great help in keeping me alive and active.

Worst experience in VA I have ever had. I lived in Spokane for years. The VA in Spokane really do care for there vets. They anwer there phones and they get you in with in a reasonable time. Seattle VA treats you like cattle! And with the same disregard! I have been trying to see a care specialist for 5 months now. I have been on the phone just trying to get a hold of these people, and they just won't answer. In fact in order to things done I had to call my own VA in Spokane, fly there on my own money just to see someone. It has been a nightmare. "To add insult to injury," they sent me a letter saying that "because I have not contacted them they will cancel what I did in Spokane which, is a procedure I have been waiting for, for 4 years. One of the worst experience of my life!

Had an appointment at the optical clinic. Check in was easy, the ladies were right on top of their job. Had a seat and waited to get called back. Got the check up finished
And picked up my eye drops and was on my way home. Was a great experience. Thank you.

They took care of my husband quickly and efficiently. They listened to us and got him into a walk in for another appt, labs and x-rays. All that within 2 hours.

We were picking up prescription close to 5pm. There was a lot of parking space available. The pharmacy was actually pretty empty as well, we waited about five minutes before getting meds.

Always a pleasure when I'm there. As of my visit, I was directed to a Covid screening. I assume no temperature check was done as I haven't been in contracted or shown any symptoms of Covid or cold/flu.

They're taking full advantage of the current climate resulting in a quick process for me.

I went for a 1st time prescription, which was ready right after I checked in, and a few other tests. My total wait time was 5 minutes at most.

I've always gone there for over 20+ years, they're the BEST in town as far as I'm concerned. I'm a veteran so yeah I love the staff and my friends that I only see at the VA hospital.

Husband had to go in for some blood work that his Primary Doctor wanted. He has a new Doctor and so far we are very pleased with her.
Today was picking up meds for a infection.

Went in for a CT today. I was in and out in 10 minutes. The Tec was very polite and had a great attitude! COVID-19 screening went smoothly. Stopped by the pharmacy to refill a prescription also went quickly!

Took my husband to American Lake Va for a medical procedure. They required masks and asked us all kinds of questions before letting us go in. Dr. And nurses very professional. They really care about their patients.

I was very impressed over how nice the folks who work here were. Even two Police men offered to give me a mask without me even asking. Nice grounds too.

Well, I went to see the urgent care clinic, only to find out that they no longer had said clinic. The woman who helped me thought I might get a little mad about that (no sense getting upset over something I can't control, eh?). She DID get me pointed in the right direction, and much closer to home. I think she went above and beyond, answered all my questions, and was very helpful and pleasant. Thank you.

BLDG #81 is where new Veterans will enroll themselves (and your dependents information); each department in this building have different hours but mainly open around 0730 or 0800; many of the staff workers are friendly and knowledgeable.

If I had to be in a hospital this hospital was a very good experience for me I don't like being in hospitals but if you got to be there having a person or a bunch of people being good to you it's really important it was in the covid unit 18 days and then I came home and self 5 days was it fun with the people in the staff and that unit were the kindest people I've ever met they were real concerned about my health I appreciate the veterans administration for what they do and the people they hire

Just love test this morning blood and urine went quickly and smoothly. Even though they only had one tech to work the front window and draw the blood but I got there early it was 07..

They are screening for COVID-19 so get there early for appointments. The staff are very helpful and courteous and will assist you with all aspects of your appointment. Wait times vary but mornings are best.

Easy entrance with covid screening, park g is way easier now that non-patients are discouraged on campus. Shockingly efficient overall, loved my visit.

VA American Lake is an amazing hospital for us veterans. The staff have been professional and caring, there trying to save my life. God bless them.
