Kwang's Palace

Under-rated! Most of the poor stars come from the delivery side. The food here is still authentic and delicious. The ladies that work here are also very kind and patient. Also, the prices are unbeatable... ($11.99 average)

This restaurant needs more love!

My husband and I have been coming here for the last 2 years, and our orders have been perfect every single time. The ladies that work the front are the nicest people ever as well. This is one of the few places here we'll be sad to leave once it comes time for us to move again.

The customer service was exceptional and the general tso chicken is absolutely so good along with the crab rangoon. Also a very consistent restaurant which is a big green flag for me.

Tried for the first time. They were more than willing to customize my sushi roll to accommodate my shellfish allergy. The food is good and has good portions for the amount. Very friendly and (from what I saw) a clean place.

This place is amazing I've Been ording food here for awhile and they never disappoint the orange chicken is 10/10 along with the broccoli beef and the fried rice customer service is amazing and they stuff the tray with food and is very affordable soo it's definitely worth it 10/10 recommend keep up the good work!!!!

Good food! Quick service. Recieved appetizers at the appropriate time prior to entrees. Generous serving sizes. Had the Chicken lo mein, crab rangoon, hot sour soup, wontons, chicken chow mein and mongolian beef. All very good made to order.

Clean place, friendly staff, and great food! The portions are generous and my food is always piping hot when I eat in. My favorite go to hole in the wall.

in the street that Kwang's is located there is more Chinese restaurants, but Kwang's is the best.
there pork fried rice is to die for !!! the 2 lady's that greet you always greet you with a smile, you always feels welcome.

This Place is what I affectionately call one of those hole in the wall places...And if You have ever gone into one or like Me many You will find some of the best places to eat...Food is above and beyond most, like this place... Phenomenally prepared Chinese Food, we are talkin Mongolian beef, and Beef Chow Mein that You can actually taste all the different vegtables, not like most places were there stuff sits in a pan all day and everything tastes the same....this place though a definite must try!! It will not disappoint, and its prepaired when You order!!!worth the wait!! This is My new Favorite for Chinese Food!!!

I'm pregnant and i was craving Asian food so I send my husband to get shrimp fried rice and Chow mein he told the lady their it was for his pregnant wife and it's like they made are food with love and care because the food was delicious, healthy and good. 10 stars for me! My husband told me how elegant the place looks as well he described that it looks like a palace inside. Nice place to go on a date. We will definitely be regular customers there!👍

I love the food. Had food delivered several times. Tonight I ordered a few simple things. I was told hour, hour and a half. Had a friend order 45 minutes AFTER me. They got their order as I'm talking to her. As they are friends and all. Called to see where my order was. I was told, sorry we are behind but we are working on your order now. So 2.5 hours later, I finally get my order. Good deal. Food is not good enough to wait 2.5 hours.

UPDATE After 2 months, we finally broke down and ordered food. They recognized me right away. Not only was I given an apology after all this time, but I ended up with some free food. They took fried meat wonton off their menu but she made it for me anyways. All in all my 5 stars will stand. Thank you!

We drive all the way from Tacoma and the food is always fantastic, service is always warm and friendly and for Asian food, the prices are very reasonable. Keep up the good work and thank you for always providing a good experience.

My experience with this restaurant has always been pleasant. Sometimes I take out sometimes I dine in. The food is always brought to me organized very nicely. It is better than most places in Tacoma and the staff are very kind! The servings are very large the number 12 combo is less than $20 and enough food to feed a family of 4!

I am new to the Washington area so to see that there is light outside at 9pm is different. That's besides the point as I'm driving down this street I see this place had their doors open. They stopped taking orders by 9 but the lady at the counter was nice enough to make my order and another gentleman's order. They even went ahead and made the other guys order after he left to get cash (POS system was down in the area). I think that's why this place deserved to get 5 stars because even after an excruciating heat and the chance to close up shop they were able to take care of their customers. And the food is 👍

I've had teriyaki from many places, and after this pandemic I am still ashamed of all the negative reviews out there for many of my favorite places. Kwang's Palace creates superb food and is on a list for one of my favorite teriyaki places. I will hold onto the many others that rival it down in Thurston county, but wanted to help raise the bar for this place. Someday I will share my favorite place to get katsu and hope others continue to lift other teriyaki places up too. They make great food and are very generous. I've never gotten sick and hope the great team at Kwang's Palace know they are appreciated. (I still prefer Main Chinese Buffet's chicken on a stick the most, but yours was fancy too. Maybe it's just my personal taste.) I really was hoping to try their chicken katsu, but at the very least there are good places down in thurston county too. I would proudly rep anyone who worked here for their incredible food. The restaurant industry deserves more help for all they put up with. Cheers, jt
