Summer Cove

PLEASE WEAR SHOES OR SANDALS. I luckily was wearing sandals, so was my son, and I had a fish hook stuck in it within 5mins of being in the water.
Lights in the women's bathroom doesn't work, so if it's a cloudy day, it's gonna be dark. Lol. They seem to get regularly cleaned. We go at least once a week and the messes always get cleaned. A lot of people go on sunny weekends, but not too much, you can still get a good spot on the beach.
The water in the splash pad isn't cold, compared to the splash pad next to the skate park and kids museum.
The play ground is huge, my son loves running around. I love that it's a padded ground rather than wood chips.

I will say I will miss coming here with my daughter when we leave. She has so much fun here. It's easy to access the playground, splash pad and lake area. Wish they had more seating areas because it does it busy when it warms up, so don't forget to bring your own.

Great playground with splash park and even a lake beach. My son loved this place and can’t wait to go back! The splash pad is awesome! Bathroom on site and shaded tables and benches. No real shade for playground. Great place to play.

Nice little beach area with a large splash pad for the kids. Nice wooded grounds, picnic areas with nice picnic tables.

Such a GREAT PLAYGROUND. It's clean and right by the beach, Russell's Landing. A few years back they put in a splash area with water cannons, etc.. Gets crowded in the summer, but it's a pretty big playground so there's a lot of room and additional fields surrounding it for the kids to play unobstructed. ♥

Well maintained playground on the base. People call it Blue park and love it. Good beach area for American lake.
BBQ places, picnic area, benches, walking paths in the area. The splash park opens after memorial day and closes on labor day every year. The public restroom opens a bit earlier and later than the splash park area.

Had the best time

Top of the line playground equipment. Spray park is nice and beach by the lake is awesome. Bathrooms are clean. Beautiful park and my grandchildren love going here.

It's basically a private beach. There is a massive park for 3-8 years. Fishing allowed. In the summer, it's a little piece of heaven.

Playground for kids 2+ and zoned for ability, splash pad open but you have to slap the red pole top with a hand print on it to get it going, some picknick tables and a sandy beach nearby with a lovely view of the lake and mountain. Loved it!

Great place for the family. Huge playground with a little splash park with plenty of room for gatherings. Definitely the coolest parks I've taken my grandkids to.

Awesome little spot to eat lunch and take a mental time out. On clear days, the water is gorgeous, and it never seems to be crowded. Good spot to launch paddle boards or kayaks as well.

A great place for everyone. In summer, with its splash pad and its beach, barbecue, and the best slides ever. Oh my... A little fishing, a walk, and plenty of shade if you need it.

Great place to take the family with the new splash pad, playground, and beach to swim or grill on. There are picnic tables and a few charcoal grills in the immediate area. There is a bathroom there as well (not ideal for changing). The kids love being able to go between the beach, splash pad, and playground as desired (all in close proximity). They are completely worn out each time we leave and they don't get bored because there are so many things to do. Bring sunscreen, shade, and chairs if you want.
