The Managers at this office for Driver Safety
are a rare breed of government employees. They are so caring and helpful and helped guide me through a very difficult time with compassion and understanding. I will never forget their honest and kind hospitality towards my needs. Thank you so much.

Took years to find out there was a place you could report people that drive horribly and dangerously. Form DS-699 does the trick. The Sheriff's deputies can not do a thing until that person actually hurts somebody. Geez. So problem solved!

What an actual joke of an organization. Paperwork that should take no more than 3 days to process and be done with takes over 3 WEEKS. Unbelievable.

Only reason I'm not rating one star is because I had a nice conversation with the custodian who was clearly doing his best.

At my 1st hearing/1st experience... i was treated like a lying criminal and blacklisted b4 i even knew what hit me my crime? I passed out at a freinds casa due to dbl pneumonia ! after complying with their games! I saw 3 differant doctors, been cleared on paper by all 3 dr.s its been 13 years ive been homeless bcus of this lost any meaingful job bcus of this! My dmv record was/is spotless but still they wont even hear my complaint they just give me the same document behind theyre window the same document that i had 3 doctors fill out years prior clearing me from seizures or any other rediculous lie!!

The 3 big females in the front are beyond horrible, seems like they dont want to be there. They schedule me for a day to come in and when i come in my name is not on the list and they charge me for being late? I know im not the only one the higher up should definitely do something about this. Get some people that ACTUALLY want to help you not SCREW you over!

Dealing with The employees at occupational licensing section at this office was one of the worst experience i ever had in my life.there is two inspectors who are very ill-mannered and discourteous, they argue and fight with the clients all the time.They don't care how their unethical behavior can effect someones life, never listen to what people has to say,and think they know better than anyone else. I am going to file a complaint about the all employees in the occupational licensing employees. Don't go there, just go to Los Angeles office .

6 month medical suspension turned into over a year of beurocratic paperwork and phone calls furthering a suspension after medical clearance. Clearly these employees are working to run out the clock and forget the problems of the people they encounter.

This place is should be shut down. The manager at this place is making my dad take everything go get his class A license back when he had nothing to do with an accident that the cops where so racist to hear my dad about what happen and accuse him of being under the influence and after they did the blood test he was found clean and yet they don't want to admit they falsely accuse him and instead of saying mr Walter I'm sorry for falsely accusing you but here's your license back . Something needs to be done with the service here , they are here to help which is not the case for my dad

Phone rings for two minutes, then just hangs up. Not even a recording to "please wait for next representative", and no opportunities to leave voicemail. Just calling into the void. Sure, don't mind me, I'm just trying to prevent a relative with dementia, who has already been in two accidents, from continuing to drive on the road. I've already filled out a form two weeks ago, with a doctor's note, and after getting the runaround through several other driver safety offices, it seems like my paperwork sadly ended up here and I can't find out next steps. It's maddening. If there's any office that shouldn't be lax about handling calls, it's a public safety office.

This place should be shut down. They really don’t want me to drive in Cali. I’ve been driving for 5 almost 6 years now and during my first accident, I fell asleep on the wheel. Someone reported me and I had to go through coming in and out of this office. They even wanted an evaluation from my doctor. Nothing is wrong with me and they are withholding my license. The dmv doesn’t have my license suspended, THESE people do. I’m currently not in Cali and was planning on coming back but this whole situation is making me want to stay where I am. I need to drive for my job and school.

Unfortunately this place is the only DMV driver's safety office in the San Fernando Valley. They operate in two speeds, slow and reverse.. After going to a specialist and getting medically cleared (Signed off by a Neurologist) , after 4 weeks of calling everyday, they have finally reviewed my paperwork but still haven't filed it and cleared my DMV medical hold. I have let them know that this is putting my job at risk. I have been told that they are clearing my license but unfortunately I have to wait because they do in the order received. I recommend using an office in another area if you are able to.

The only positive review here is false, this place is garbage and every employee there is garbage to. They need to get audited.

Typical dysfunctional DMV experience. Phone rings then eventually disconnects caller. What a joke. This is a very important office, shameless how this is run

I went for an audit and since the cop didn't show up I had to reschedule seems like I am waisting my time.

Sleepy stuff, after 1 month waiting and I still have no correct information from them((( Waiting...how long should I wait? - I can't tell you.

Call disconnected no call back. They went home for the weekend instead of finishing with me.

This is a horrible place -- and the hearing officers are corrupt, working in collusion with "dirty" police officers.
