Blo Hair lounge is an amazing salon!! Best of the best. The owner, Kim is super knowledgeable about all things hair, one of the kindest, most genuine, down to earth person I’ve met. All of the stylists are top notch. The vibe at the salon is super chill, with a great view of Tacoma. I LOVE this salon, always feel so welcome here.

Kim’s been doing my mother in law’s hair for years and when I needed my hair done for my wedding, she gifted me Kim and she’s now been doing my hair for 5-6 years. She goes above and beyond to give me exactly what I want (and most of the time even better than what I envisioned). She’s the best! The salon is always super clean, cozy, and she always has the best music playing. If you can’t book with her, the other artists also do great work! I’ve seen so many amazing hair makeovers and happy customers. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Maddy is THE best hairstylist! I have fine, thin, difficult to style hair and have been to many other stylists but was never happy with my cut--until I met Maddy! She gets it exactly how I want it every time and I now even get compliments from strangers on my hair! She's a lovely person too, and my time spent with her is such a treat! Go see her--you won't be disappointed!

Maddy is my favorite ever! Seriously, she's the best. I've had the best haircuts in my life from Maddy. My teenaged son and I won't go to anyone but her. We'd follow her anywhere but love the space at Blo Hair Lounge. It's bright and airy with an awesome view and plenty of street parking. There's also coffee and a couple breweries nearby so make a day of it 😁

I had such an amazing experience with Kim! She is such a pro, talks you through what she is doing and why, and really cares about the client. All the staff are so friendly and welcome. I definitely recommend!

I just want to say that my experience at Blo Hair Lounge was top tier and I will definitely be coming back. I am a new mom and currently pregnant, so all I wanted to do for my birthday was to get pampered on my special day. I made an appointment somewhere else and the stylist cancelled and rebooked me on the day of my original appointment and then cancelled on me the day of that rescheduled appointment. I went into panic mode.

I immediately started looking around for a new stylist and that’s when I stumbled upon my angel, Tommy. First, the shop ambiance is very welcoming and clean. Second, Tommy has magical hands. From the wash to the styling I was super pleased and he literally saved my birthday. Also I loved how he recommended products for hair as he went through the servicing. Thank you again Tommy and I look forward to my next appointment.

I’ve been going to Teresa for the past 4 years and i’m so glad i found her! she’s always so friendly, kind, and truly an expert at what she does. i’ve asked her to do my hair in so many different ways, and she delivers every time! if she were to move, i would follow her :) i recommend her to everyone!!

Blo Hair Lounge was the best! Kimberly was inviting, intentional, and informative. From the moment I walked in the doors Kimberly greeted me with a smile and great energy. She did an amazing job at listening to my vision and executing it perfectly. She was intentional throughout the whole hair process. She took her time carefully applying the hair dye and gave a relaxing hair wash as well. When cutting and styling she went above and beyond in making sure I was happy with the result. She was also very informative with the products she was using and the health of my hair. I will absolutely be returning and telling my friends! The location is in a great spot to grab a coffee, get your hair done, and drive around. There is plenty of parking spaces on the street and the overall vibe is so cute and comfortable inside. If you book you won’t be disappointed.

Kim is super knowledgeable and always talks me through what to expect when I share ideas with her on what I’d like to do with my hair. She also makes suggestions on how to style, treat, and care for my hair to keep it healthy.
I really appreciate having a stylist that can work with curly hair, it’s hard to find! Kim is also very skilled at styling my curls at the end of the service so I always walk out feeling great! Thanks Kim!
