The Bloc

I came today to see how it is decorated for Christmas, everything is very pretty and well decorated. But when I got there most of the decorations were already off. They have a very nice tree under the stairs in the patio. Outside near the restaurants is also a very large and beautiful sphere.

Very nice they have a Ballroom in the basement of the hotel next to it and restaurants and stores are just outdoors. I don't know what type of person would experience such things like that, but maybe one day I could just get invited to join the celebration. ♥

Beautiful place to be. Open and quite charming outdoor mall is majestic and a good walk around. Late nights at the Bloc can be had at The Alamo, nearby bars and at the Sheraton Hotel.

Last time I was here was many years ago... Right after they tore the roof off. I was very pleased with all the changes... It's really nice and trendy. They have some coffee spots, juice places, a theater which I need to check out soon, and more. just a nice feel to it.

Fun shopping experience right in the center of DTLA. There are shops and good dining available. My FAVORITE part are the seats and tables outside on the bottom level for a fun dining experience. The Macy's department store ALWAYS has EPIC deals as well. I recommend VERY much.

Our go to movie theater is the Alamo. Perfect for having a meal, drinks (cocktails), and watching a movie all at the same time. Parking is validated; Not free, but worth it the experience.

This shopping mall is one of my favorite in downtown Los Angeles, from Starbucks, DayBar, LA Fitness, Macy's and so much more, quick chill out in the busy downtown lifestyle, either for a cup of coffee, watching a movie in theaters, shopping your new phone at Tmobile, styling your hair at Drybar or jump on the treadmill at the LA fitness, Macy's also have big rooftop parking. I recommend this place.

This please has really great service. They offer you a glass of champagne the moment you enter the door. The wait staff is patient with even the rude is customers. I should know I was with some of the rude as people.😅 The prices are actually fairly reasonable for the area and the quality of the food.

I'm always coming here just to relax and visit the near by Starbucks to grab a drink. There are plenty of tables to sit and enjoy the view. You can also hop on the metro rail to go to anywhere in the LA area.

The elevators to get from the parking lot into Macy's were a bit tricky. Otherwise, even my kids enjoyed it since they got to play and run around in the grassy area on the middle of The Bloc.

Just spent some time shopping here. Plenty of shops. Then took a walk to Karl Strauss brewing company. Got a validation for 3 hours from Macys after a spending a few bucks. Great open door shopping experience. I loved the small artificial grass area. Nice Starbucks too with rooftop sitting. Also a few nice restaurants.

The Bloc put on a much welcomed Christmas "Sparkle" for patrons. The main tree is synchronized with the lights for a fabulous light show presentation! There is also a giant ornament that is lit up with massive lights and it is great for family portraits! In addition to being an iconic shopping center in DTLA , the Bloc has several great restaurants!

I am absolutely amazed by how downtown Los Angeles has completely transformed itself I love to come and visit as many restaurants as I can that have an outdoor seating area to gaze upon our gorgeous City. It is absolutely stunning how many new and old high-rises are in downtown . You will enjoy outdoor shopping outdoor eating great coffee great spirits you will find it all at THE BLOC.

The Bloc is located on 7th and flower and expands a block over. I really love the art work in and around the building. There are so many restaurants, retail stores, a hotel and not to mention a movie theater. The metro runs under the Bloc (7th and metro stop) and if this isn’t enough because its literally located in the heart of DTLA (Downtown Los Angeles) you can walk a few blocks around and I’m sure you can find whatever your looking for whether it be another coffee shop, restaurants and even a Walgreens.

I have to be honest and say it’s been such a long time since I’ve been here. I’d come every day for years till Covid hit, before school to get a workout in at L.A Fitness or grab some coffee and a quick bite at Starbucks. It was nice to be able to visit again!

This place makes you feel like the holidays are here all the Shops have a Xmas look and it's a nice place to take a family photo. They really have a giant awesome ornament that you can take a pic in. Really!!! Go to the BLOC and enjoy the atmosphere!!! It's awesome!!! Merry Christmas

Beautiful aesthetic for the winter holidays. I only went there for Macy's and the Alamo Draft House. Convenient elevators. Clean environment.

Very nice out door mall. Always dressed up for the holiday season. Plenty of room to social distance, good stores, and nice places to eat. Connects to the metro train station.

The Udon restraunt Marugame is a good spot for lunch or dinner. It's hidden in the underground level. First time coming here and was introduced to me by a family member. I got the BK Udon large. The tempura station has shrimp, sweet potato, pumpkin, and croquette. For drinks, they have iced matcha tea and iced Calamasi drinks. The value of this fine delicous meal is worth the walk from the convention to here. It's 4 to 5 blocks away around 10 to 15 minutes walk.

The Bloc is one of the few gems located in Downtown, Los Angeles. What I love about this place is the art work and quotes painted on the walls throughout the building. The open courtyard with seating is also a very nice touch.

This is one of the few areas downtown where you can shop in peace without being harassed by panhandlers.

The security detail here seem to always be on the job because I rarely see transients camped out or causing a disturbance like I do in other parts of town.

My only gripe is that they make you pay for parking.

They also offer free WiFi and a concierge desk that's staffed during the day.

Very clean and nice place. Very safe. They had a nice selection of stores and they have UCLA on top as well. No complaints
