Hannosuke

I enjoy eating Hannosuke Shrimp Tendon which is good and delicious. Me and my dad used to come to Hannosuke at Torrance but it is no longer there. So I’m grateful that there is a Hannosuke at South Centinela which is almost close to home. So they have many good meals to try. Sometimes if you dine in they will give you the meal in a Nice Bowl but sometimes they will give a bento style if they don’t have enough bowls when you dine in. So this is a good place for lunch. I know it has a 3.7 Rating but to me I give it 5 Stars.

Will definitely be back. Reminds me of the tendon I had in Japan. Not as good of course but definitely one of the bests in the US. Especially conger eel tempera is not a easy find in all the Japanese restaurants. worth the drive! The price is also good!

Famous tempura restaurant in Japan. Portions are big. Price is a bit higher. Cant see this restaurant in santa Monica mitsuwa. This is inside mitsuwa food court. Highly recommand. Must try.

B00M! Hot, fresh tempura that comes in a great variety! My favourite is the #2. A large, delicious piece of conger eel, two shrimp, whitefish, on top of some great tasting rice with an AMAZING soft boiled egg. My suggestion - break it and mix it into the rice - fantastic. The meal portions are large, coming with miso soup, and Hannosuke never disappoints!

Pro tip - this sits inside the Matsuwa food court. If you're with a party, have one person grab seats while the other orders!

Classic Tokyo tempura at a moderate price. My go to place for their eel tempura combination. Be sure to ask for the red pepper blend as a condiment.

At Hannosuke, you can find the variety of battered and deep fried fish, vegetables, and roots that you would normally only see in Japan.

Get the zaru soba with a mini tendon if you're hesitant about having your entire meal deep fried.

Soooooo good! Authentic Japanese tendon (tempura rice bowl). It's inside Mitsuwa Market and a bit crowded but the food is delicious!! Def a must try if you love Japanese food :)

Mitsuwa Market is great....the market and the small Japanese restaurants there in their courtyard....fun place to take out of towners. Great food, reasonable prices, large selection. Fun to explore the Japanese market for interesting foods.

Inside Mitsuwa, very convenient and grab&go style because of Covid-19. They do have tables in the food court if you want to eat there. Enjoy 😉

Shrimp Tempura with various tempura veggies...not to mention the shishito pepper! They are one of the places that actually take your credit/debit cards as well as acually pack your order to go!
