I decided to check out Anwar’s Kitchen because I love watching Anwar and his mother on YouTube, and my experience was nothing short of amazing! The quality of the food is top-notch, and the ambience is incredibly pleasing.

From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. They were especially helpful since it was my first time visiting, guiding me through the menu and offering excellent recommendations. I tried the BEEF SHAWARMA, and I absolutely loved it. The flavors were authentic and delicious, showcasing the high-quality ingredients and culinary expertise that Anwar's Kitchen is known for.

The restaurant itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. While I didn't get the chance to meet Anwar and his mom during my visit, I hope to see them next time!

Delicious halal style Mediterranean food, chicken shawarma and tacos were my favorite. The gf got the salmon and it looked excellent. Kibbeh and falafel were tasty, excellent garlic sauce. Very friendly service.

Hidden Gem..that not only is amazing in food flavour but is open till . 4 am..

The food is absolutely delicious and i love the presentation. They also have special drinks like pineapple, watermelon and a few others including lemonade which i did try and all delicious. Lastly there pastries were really yummy to. Friendly customers service, the restaurant is clean. overall I enjoyed it

The food is soooo delicious! Best Top Mediterranean food in LA! The pita bread is so soft and the drink choices are awesome, they have cantaloupe water 😋 the Humus has great ingredients and it’s so good.

I ordered falafel and hummus with pita bread. Both were incredibly great! I'm so excited to eat authentic baklava!

THE BEST PITA WRAP IVE EVER HAD — super quick, could order on Toast or a self order kiosk, AND open until 3am?!! What more could you ask for.

The chicken pita wrap was so good and packed with flavor. I usually am scared of falafels being dry but their side of falafel was super moist and delish! They always come with a bunch of extra sauce and their baklava is to die for. Plus everytime I go, the employees are super sweet and helpful! 💖🇵🇸

I had the beef shawarma; it was absolutely excellent. Looks a bit small but it was very heavy. It was stuffed with filling; I I impressed.We also had the tacos they were good too.

The food was amazing, especially the chicken. The baklava was to die for and I actually ended up buying 4 all together.

Everything was so good and flavorful! Must get the agua frescas! 💦 They were good and refreshing! Tried the cantaloupe, pineapple, and watermelon! 😋They were all tasty! Cantaloupe was my favorite but watermelon sells out fast too!

I have been a huge fan of Mediterranean food all my life and have got the opportunity to explore the variation of it among the places I have travelled. The cusine really is bold and caters to your palette in a strong flavorful way.
I recently got the opportunity to try the food at Anwar's kitchen in DTLA . Corner place with an ultra modern interiors, I was quite taken away by the food and service. It was completely empty on a Saturday post lunch hours which kinda gave the whole place to us .
We ordered a bunch of stuff from there specialities - Chicken shawarma fries , grilled salmon, chicken wrap , chicken shawarma , chicken shawarma tacos , pistachio baklava and walnut baklava and the hibiscus tea .
The food here is very rich , amazing presentation and quality ingredients.
The pita and sauces served were all in house which explains the freshness of everything.
I loved the chicken tacos , a great fusion with Mexican food taking small pita pockets and filling with the shawarma, topping it with some onion and then adding some salsa to the top, it was savory!
Grilled salmon was really good, fresh , steaming served over bed of rice and some salad , it spoke of gourmet food .
Loved the idea of spreading shawarma over fries and topping it with the sauces.
I absolutely loved the baklava , both pistachios and walnut were heavy, rich , sweet and tasted authentic, its not an easy dessert to master.
Overall experience was quite amazing and I can't wait to go back!

As a Lebanese girl I’m very picky with Arabic food. I love this place and found it when I was hungry late night. Open late with many great vegan options. The fridge hummus section is also bomb !

The hummus was amazing, the chicken shawarma was very good, the beef shawarma was ok. The food is halal and the prices are very reasonable.

I loved their Gyro platter.
The qubz bread was soo soft and fresh
The hummus was excelent , the meat was juicy suprisingly , the rice was good.
Fries were to die for. Loved it.
Only suggestion would b, it could have used a little more rice .

You must try Anwar’s. I had the gyro pita and it was amazing. But the hummus on the side… the hummus was the best I’ve ever had! And the pickled veg in the wrap, everything was incredible.

Great food and staff. I missed to see you Anwar, but I did tell your staff to say Salam to you! Will definitely visit you next time when I am in LA.

Had the chicken and beef combo shawarma platter which was absolutely delicious. Loved the meat and the yellow rice but was really blown away by the perfect hummus and hot, fresh pita. I highly recommend this dish.
