Sushi Mashiko

Very lovely atmosphere and staff. They were very sweet and attentive. We were visiting from Colorado for our honeymoon and were recommended this place, and it was the best sushi we’ve had! Next time we are back in this area, we will be sure to stop here again.

Cute spot. Sweet staff with warm greetings. Rolls were perfect. The cucumber salad is my new favorite dish, very simple. We will be back. The place is small. That isn’t a bad thing but you might have to wait if your party is larger than two people.

Very happy to find this little hole in the wall. Excellent food, very quick and professional service, and extremely competitive quality sushi and other dishes. Very clean and an aesthetic that reminds me of a Los Angeles that doesn't exist anymore. I know one other sushi restaurant in LA that I would recommend, and I would not say it is better, but that they are equals - Kazunori. However, Sushi Mashiko is much more welcoming. This is the best sushi restaurant in Culver City and one of the best in Los Angeles County. Simple, professional, and exceedingly excellent.

This place is a gem. Good quality food and service and the staff is lovely. Ordered two appetizers, sushi, and an entree—great value.

Had calamari, salmon skin salad, and sunomono salad for appetizers and the sushi and sashimi dinner platters for lunch. Everything was delicious. The staff is courteous and attentive. The chef does a super accurate job making these dishes. He's a master of his skill, as you may witness for yourselves in this cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. I definetely recommend this place.

Great little sushi place, good food, cozy, and very nice people, looks like it’s run with love and passion.

For some context, we had a shrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna roll, eel and avocado roll and scallop roll and it all came out to $28 dollars, which I feel is totally reasonable. The food itself was delicious; I remember hearing that crunch when I bit into the shrimp tempura and it tasted just as great as it sounded. The service was pretty fast as well, which I appreciated. There were about 3-4 other tables when we were there, so it wasn’t too packed when I went. Overall, will definitely come back to this place!

The sushi is great! I liked the dinner sushi package. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my dinner here with my friend. Deffo will come here again 😁

I only wish they had better choices for alcoholic drinks. Having shochu like all the other sushi and Izakaya places would be awesome!

Great music, great sushi. The best California rolls around. The spicy tuna is also really good and fresh. The citrus tea is amazing. I would definitely recommend.

One of the best finds in L.A. for Sushi! Everything is fresh and perfectly made from the eel to the softshell crab. Perfect from start to finish. Ambiance is great and the staff is absolutely amazing as well! Do yourself a favor and have your sushi night out here!

Super good sushi and dinner specials. My partner and I ordered half the menu to go and the service was quick and super friendly. Next time we'll eat in - the restaurant itslef is comfortable and relaxed, a great spot for a meal with a pal. Its a small place nestled in a strip of other small, non descript businesses, - so you could miss it if you aren't looking - but this place is a gem. Def recommend. Ps get the tamago!

Cute small place, if you sit by the bar you almost get omakase- kinda experience straight from the chef ( they don’t do actual omakase) Place run by Japanese people. Fish is very fresh! Definitely becoming a repeat customer.

Trying a local spot to begin my new Friday fish night - sushi vs. my old fattening standard fried fish. Had their mix Maki and caterpillar roll - with their miso soup. The miso was rich, the rolls were fresh, elegant and satisfying. Definitely returning soon!! Service in this Covid19 world was friendly, prompt and very much appreciated!
