Lux Nail Spa

I am in LA for four days for a wedding and decided last minute that I wanted to get my nails done. After reading some reviews on google I decided to call and they were able to accommodate me within half an hour. I don’t get my nails done very often so I can’t really compare my experience to anywhere else, but I was very satisfied with the service provided. They were very professional, friendly and clean. The foot and hand massage were so relaxing.
The only con is they don’t accept Discover, only Visa and MasterCard. Tips are cash only, but they have an ATM inside 👍🏼

This is the only salon I’ve found that applies the BIOSCULPTURE GEL nail polish, which doesn’t include the 10 toxic ingredients that other gel polishes contain in the United States. My nails have never looked so good naturally, and I’m able to grow them out long.
Service is always top notch & thorough- worth the cost since the BIOSCULPTURE nontoxic gel lasts for nearly a month!
The technicians always handled special issues with care and never shamed me for an embarrassing rash on my foot (athlete’s foot which I treated but stubbornly returned).
💅 It also feels good to support a female, Asian owned business.

Just moved to the area and I’m happy that I came here to get my nails done and also first time getting my eyelash lift! Very satisfied with everything. They were fast, efficient and very friendly. My nail technician and also the one who did my lash lift is super sweet and always making sure I’m comfortable, thank you Jieun!(not sure if I spell her name correctly). Will come back soon!

gel mani is always quality, no air bubbles/bumps etc. i touched a toenail too soon, messed it up and the owner was adamant about fixing it before i left. my introvert self didn’t want to be that person and make a big deal of it, but she was very nice about it!

confused by some of these other reviews, every time i’ve been here has been great.

I love their gel-x manicures! I get super simple nude extensions, which means it’s all in the details & the nail techs at Lux all do a great job.

This review and 5 stars is for Mimi, she is an amazing nail art artist, incredibly talented, detail oriented and precise.
As far as the salon i would give 4 stars it is clean and well maintained, but reception people always have either my number wrong and could not reach me to reschedule my appointment or have my name down wrong, and/or they do not fully explain thing on the phone or in person so most of the time you have to guess why are you part of this strange misunderstandings. Overall nothing major that would make me post 4 stars instead of 5 but i do take time to write this review and mentioning the misunderstandings with reception matters to me.

I received gel extensions and nail art from Toko, and this is the happiest I’ve ever left a salon! Everyone was super friendly and the nails came out better than I envisioned. They helped me pick colors and adjust the design, and they came out beautiful! I’m not from LA but anytime I’m here I’ll always go to Lux from now on.

I never have a complaint, i have only been going just recently but i had to let go of a nail technician of 20 years because once i started going here my nails grew longer and healthier than before. This nail salon is well kept and the staff are all super sweet. I definitely recommend this salon, it’s a bit pricy but i definitely have no problem spending my money when i have never had an issue in regards to my nails they always do them so perfect.

Services good for the price .

I was visiting from Chicago and I'm a licensed nail tech myself and choose this place because all the revues mentioned how clean it was- I totally agree! From the jetless tubs with disposable liners- to the disposal pumice, files and buffers used for my pedicure, I could tell that this place valued quality and cleanliness above all. All the techs and employees were nice and I would definitely come back!

They always paint all the way to the edges, and are detail oriented. Their salon staff have a good vibe and team work. Their premium gel is the best ever! The selection of colors are amazing, along with extras ex: gems and sparkles. Will be returning!!! Xoxo

I hesitate to brag about this place because if I tell the world how amazing their organic gel manicures are and how long my nails have grown it will be even harder to get an appointment! 😩 Also they do an amazing job with lashes sometimes I have my nails and lashes done at the same time, they are quick and very affordable 💘💘💘

I was a walk-in and they promptly assigned a very professional sweet manicurist to me. The salon is clean with a comfortable vibe. I have to say I was very impressed and my nails look awesome!!

This is the best nail place in the city. I drive all the way from Burbank to get and organic gel manicure. I have never seen such a skilled, Precision Artist as the people that work at Lux nail

I have been coming here for awhile now, and the people that work here are great. The shop is always clean, and polish options are wide in range. What I like most is that the workers here are meticulous. I never feel rushed when I come.

I had a very positive experience here. I got an organic gel manicure and a pedicure. Staff was very kind. I definitely will return. But make an appointment in advance. It’s hard to get a walk in.

Momi is a great manicurist. I love their bio sculpture gel, it lasts for a long time and does not chip! The salon is clean and the staff is friendly.

Very good nail salon with reasonable prices. They are not perfect every time but so are most nail places in Los Angeles.
