Our 13 year old Shepard is being treated for a large liver mass and bladder cancer. Having two separate medical issues makes treatment a challenge. The staff at the Veterinary Cancer Group are all outstanding. Their compassion is evident and the treatment and care we are receiving leaves us feeling that Reagan is receiving the best possible care.

Ohana was diagnosed with leukemia in July. From the very first visit, the team has been caring, professional, and welcoming. Jennifer, Carlos, Carrie, Dakota, Dr. Oakley, and so many more of the staff take excellent care of your baby. I highly recommend VCG SFV if you are ever given the news that your fur baby has cancer.

I can't say enough about the fantastic care that my pup has received over the last year+. I would give them 10 stars, if I could. The staff, especially Dr. Oakley gave us hope and truly cared about our concerns. I don’t know what the future holds for Oliver, but whatever it is, I know that he will have had the best care possible.

We've been coming here for more than three years now, ever since our Boxer Bella was diagnosed with mastcell tumor. Dr. Oakley is fantastic, Megan and the entire front office and back office staff continue to be great. We feel confident that Bella is getting the best care under Dr. Oakley and the entire staff. THANK YOU!

Veterinary Cancer Group.
They are a group of outstanding, cancer fighting hero's who are phenomenal at what they do for family pets.

Every person who assisted and/or facilitated the care during our appointment was amazing. Carlos took our initial phone call to schedule an appointment but also helped us throughout the check-in process the day of our appointment. Carlos was not only kind, he compassionate, knowledgeable and patient answering all my questions and I never made me felt rushed during what seemed to be a peak hour.

The Veterinary technicians and Dr. Cesario were all amazing and displayed an outstanding amount of care and affection for our fur-baby. Everyone was informative and provided the best information needed to make the best decision for our family. Unfortunately we decided not to pursue chemotherapy but we are so thankful to Veterinary Cancer Group for the opportunity of options and great care.

I don’t even know where to begin with the care and compassion my dog Yogi and I received while he had his treatment with the SFV Group. From the first day, everyone was so kind and made sure I understood all my options. Although Yogi fought so hard during his 8 months seeing them, the cancer ultimately ended up taking my beloved dog since it was so aggressive from the start. Even when I called them to let them know how he was going downhill and decided to put him down, they were so empathetic and helped ensure I was making the correct decision in the end. All the kind words and gestures after I lost my best friend I received from them, I will forever be grateful for. I will also forever be grateful for how well they treated my sweet boy while he was in their care. I thank all of you for everything that you do. Yogi and I are forever thankful for you.

Everyone who works at VCG is a saint. My fur baby, Kali, was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2019 and fought a long, hard battle against cancer with the help of Dr. Wiles and her staff. Because of the effort and expert care of the VCG team, Kali lived for 20 months, far longer than the average life expectancy of a lymphoma patient. I will forever be indebted to them for the genuine, personal, and heartfelt care Kali received. Everyone from the front office (Carrie, Alex) to the techs and assistants (Stephanie, Manny, Devon), and of course Dr. Wiles herself, are such amazing, compassionate, competent people. Chemotherapy is not an easy thing to go through, but seeing how relaxed Kali was as she was carried out by a tech at the end of every treatment really put my mind at ease. They even sent me videos and pictures of her having a fun time with staff in the back while she was waiting to be seen! I appreciate VCG so very much and would recommend them in an instant. Thank you, VCG, for being heroes every day, and taking such good care of our furry little loved ones.

Very knowledgeable and caring staff and vets. I messed up on giving the meds to my dog, but no one chastised me or anything, they just helped me get back on the right track. My dog would no longer be with me if not for these wonderful people. I highly recommend the Veterinary Cancer Group to anyone who wants the best oncology treatment for their pet. These people really know what they are doing, and they really care about your pet!

Dr. Oakley is incredible. Kind, straightforward, cares deeply about her patients, listens and addresses all concerns, patient. All the staff are wonderful, nice, loving and so far my kitty is doing great. Also they return calls and emails promptly. I know we are getting the greatest care.

Anthony was extremely professional and helpful and genuinely caring when we brought our dog in for his first chemo treatment. He went above and beyond, calling the pharmacy after I told him I’d had trouble getting his last medication (prescribed by a different vet.) He understands the stress pet owners deal with when their pet is diagnosed with cancer, and works to shoulder some of the burden as best he can. I will update this review as we get further into treatment but for now, I very much appreciate everyone I’ve been in contact with at VCG and hope that the great care and attention continues!

We were so concerned and worried when our dog was diagnosed with lymphoma. Our primary vet highly recommended Vet Cancer Group SFV, so we immediately made an appointment. Ever since we have been taking our dog regularly. She absolutely loves Dr. Oakely and the team! Dr. Oakely is very thorough when examining our pup; it's obvious that she wants the best for her. The rest of the team including Anthony, Carlos and Megan are very easy and friendly team to work with. They are always open to answering questions or getting answers from Dr. Oakely when necessary. Thank you Vet Cancer Group SFV for giving our dog the best treatment. Our dog and the rest of our family are grateful for you all!

We ultimately lost our dog, Aspen to cancer; but if anyone could make our experience less miserable, it was the team at Vet Cancer Group SFV. Everyone treated us with patience, love and kindness, and more importantly, they treated Aspen this way, as if he was a member of their family. It was heartening to see that each time Aspen went in for his chemo treatment, he vigorously wagged his tail as he greeted each person working there... he was happy to see them again! Dr. Oakley was exceedingly gracious as she explained things in a way that we could understand. She took the time to listen as we provided details about Aspen's history, and she was patient with us as we asked more and more questions about his disease. Furthermore, we were incredibly touched when, a couple of weeks after Aspen passed, we received this beautiful condolence card in the mail from Dr. Oakley and the rest of the team, such a considerate gesture that meant so much.
We wouldn't wish hemangiosarcoma on our worst enemy; but it happened to our best friend; and we were grateful to have this group of people treating Aspen and helping him and us navigate through this experience from hell.

Pet cancer is just awful, but if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having to deal with a pet family member battling for their lives, Veterinary Cancer Group of SFV is where you want to start. I’m sitting here next to my cat in remission from nasal lymphoma that I didn’t think would make it to Halloween, let alone thanksgiving, and I’m reminded how thankful I am for everyone at this office. From Anthony at the front to Dr. Wiles, and everyone in between, these people literally treated my kitty Kevin like a QUEEN! Not only has everything been effective thus far, but my cat has consistently been happy and healthy, the team is super helpful and communicative, and here I am, another holiday in the books, able to hang with my girl. It’s literally everything you can ask for, especially in such a dire situation. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I'm so happy to have found Dr. Christina Oakley and her entire staff. Everyone has such a wonderful bedside manner, and they were so patient and informative when I decided to go through with chemo therapy after a tumor removal surgery with Dr. Sara Faraci (her amazing regular vet). Whenever you go through something scary, like finding out your dog has cancer, you hope to seek professionals that are good at what they do, and care about your pet. I couldn't recommend this group more, they're amazing🙏🏼

Everyone here is so kind and caring, we had additional questions after our appointment and called, they took their time to explain everything well and with care.

Thank you for making us feel informed to make the correct decisions and confident that our pet was receiving the best care.

Recently drove two hours to have my dog seen by Dr Willis and staff who was diagnosed with cancer. They were very kind and professional and understanding of our needs while helping me make an informed decision for the best of my dogs medical needs. Highly recommend this business.

The staff is very warm and welcoming which helps for the sad reason we had to go there. The staff including Dr. Oakley were very informative explaining what steps were next and what we could expect, and then what options were available to help us to make the best decisions for our furbaby and budget. They genuinely care for our 4 legged family member and the rest of us too!

My 3 year old Bernese mountain dog was diagnosed with an aggressive, acute Leukemia two days ago. This morning, we called every oncologist’s office within 50 miles to get him an appointment, and Anthony who answered the call here is very kind and compassionate, helped us navigate and got us an appointment due to the urgent nature of the illness. He is the only person, out of 20 some hospitals we called in greater LA area who actually tried to help us with kindness. We ultimately was able to get our dog see at the ER he is currently in, so decided to stay there and avoid moving him. Our pup’s prognosis is grave, we are hoping for a miracle. Although we didn’t get him seen here, in this case, as a pet parent, a little kindness goes a long way. Thank you Anthony.
