Great staff, but the wait time to get into a room or pick up a pet is a bit long. Other then that, every thing is great and the staff really care about animals.

Update: Took my Nova in for teeth cleaning. I was worried about how my skittish girl would be, but the vets here are careful and work slowly with the animals to make them more comfortable.

This place is awesome... they always good care of our pug Penny. And everyone's so personable! Dr. Laya even called us to check up on Penny the other day. And Christy, Jocelyn, Rachel- and all the ladies at the front desk always make checking in and out real smooth. Thanks y'all!!

The vet was nice to our fur baby blossom they actually seemed like they cared about our 4 pound Chihuahua the place was clean and all the the work staff were nice and friendly made us feel welcomed there we saw lots of fur kids there also . we didn't know there was packing in the back of the vet office till they almost towed our car away so now we know we're to park when we go back

The staff is always polite and friendly. I've been a client and Mr Truffles has been a patient for since I got him at 2 weeks old.

This is my year anniversary of coming to VCA Venice and I love it. Everyone has always been extremely professional and loving towards my two dogs. I moved from the San Gabriel animal hospital after the vets did not seem to provide a good amount of care to my dogs. I do come to the office about every three months to track my dogs weight and for my other dog to get her allergy shot and each time I walk out happy and well informed with my pets. Thank you everyone at VCA, Stella and Nyxie appreciate you!

Excellent and friendly service from the knowledgeable staff. We first brought our dog here when she had a dental issue and the doctor called to follow up a few months later. You can tell that they really care about your pet and offer exceptional advice on home care.

Wouldn’t want to bring Nora anywhere else— would highly recommend.

I have been taking my senior dog here for a few years. The space is very clean, and the entire veterinary staff is very caring.
They take the time to answer all my questions, and are flexible with same day appointments. I have put my full trust in them to take the very best care of my dog.
The hours are great, including being open on the weekends. Convenient parking, with a friendly staff and caring nature make VCA Animal Hospital stand out.

First time going to the vet, and it was an extremely seemless experience. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the doctor was very knowledgeable and approachable for questions. They made my dog feel so comfortable. At the end they give you full transparency in your treatment options and prices before you commit to choosing a treatment. Overall the experience couldn’t have gone smoother and I would highly recommend it!

Today was the first day that I have taken my pets to VCA and I could not be happier.

I went in with both my senior dogs (10 and 12 years old) and had them get the first free physical exam.

My first impression of the place itself is that it was clean and friendly, not crowded and short wait time (I had made an appointment for early in the morning). They were extremely kind and thorough about asking for my dogs’ medical history and immediately called their previous vet to get more information right on the spot! If that doesn’t show quality, I’m not sure what does.

As we walked into the room, they attended us almost immediately (no more than a couple minutes of waiting). They asked us a lot of questions about what we had observed in our pets and their general health at home. They asked us about temperament and their home routine and what our current concerns were. Having my eldest dog diagnosed with a progressive heart murmur a couple of years ago was tough and we knew he wouldn’t have long. We told them we were considering putting him to sleep because of how many health concerns and the dramatic weight loss he’s had these past couple of months. They were extremely sympathetic and let us know what all of our options were in terms of improving his quality of life, prolonging his life, what their euthanasia process was like without sounding like it was all business. That was the most reassuring part and made us feel more comfortable in our options and making a decision.

The doctor did a very thorough physical exam of both dogs and addressed our concerns and was patient with all of our questions. Amazing. She also took her time and made sure we were all taken care of before leaving the room. She did not seem like she was in a rush to attend another patient, which maybe made the appointment pass quicker. She was very relaxed and handled everything like a professional.

Financially, it is about average if not slightly more, but they do consider you and try to help you out the best that they can. They also don’t pressure you (at least make you feel pressured) to buy anything you think you don’t need. They literally give you what they recommend but ultimately leave the choice up to you.

I have never been treated with so much respect, kindness, and sympathy at any vet as I have here.
They truly are the best of their kind. Super professional and make you and your pets feel at home. Can’t wait to go back. VCA is now our permanent vet because of the high quality care they provide.

We were very pleased with our visit with Dr. Evans. She was very friendly, thorough and made sure to answer all our questions. The whole staff was friendly and made sure to display all our options for our dog's needs. The main issue we had with our previous vet was how much time we had to spend in the waiting room to be seen but this has never been a problem at the VCA as they are very prompt and seem really organized.

LOVE THEM! Had a last minute travel change and their team completely facilitated getting records to me within the hour. All the vets are wonderful with my pup and make a treatment plan that works for you! Can’t recommend enough.

We have been coming to this office since moving to the city, approx. 6 mos. We typically get appointments within a week and have even had success scheduling same-day appointments. She’s been in for urgent care, routine care and even nail trims.

The staff is knowledgable and friendly, treatment plans are thoroughly explained, billing is clear and seamless (making it easy to submit to insurance). Space is clean, well-stocked and welcoming.

This is the second time I have brought my dog to the vet. This location offers free parking. Everyone that has interacted with our dog seems very caring and professional. It feels like they are passionate about pet care. I feel comfortable at this location and it's where I will continue to bring my pet.

OMG, Dr Evans is the absolute best. From the moment we stepped through the door we have had nothing but the best. Actually let me back up. When I called to make the appointment they the girl who answered was very nice and professional she even told me where I could get a coupon. The front desk ladies, genuinely friendliest people. The actual consultation was hilarious. Don’t get me wrong extremely professional but Dr Evans just has a good sense of humor. Outdoor dog is fighting a flea infestation and all that goes with it. They worked with me on my finances and his treatment and I know my dog is in bad condition so I wasn’t surprised by the treatment suggestions. This place is a drive for me but we’ll be making it for all future needs.

Wonderful clinic. They were attentive, friendly, and helpful from the first phone call and Doctor Chen personally walked out with our pet to meet us and reiterate the results of our cat's exam. They are doing drop off / pick up appointments right now (where no one is allowed in the clinic due to Covid) which was easy and well coordinated. This will absolutely be our go to vet!

We went to this pet hospital to drop off are deceased cat to be cremated. We called in to see if they would take us after hours since it happened while both us were at work and they were nice enough to do it. We were seen by Diana and she was incredible. She was able to talk us through the process and calm us down. I am truly grateful for Diana. Thank you, you are a truly wonderful person. We are now having our other cat get seen here and they have been great.

Such a wonderful place to trust in the care of your four legged loved ones!!! They take such wonderful care of our kittens, believing that a trip to the vet can actually be a positive and rewarding experience. We saw Dr. Erin Evans, and she, along with all of technicians are incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, and loving. I absolutely recommend this place for all of your pet's health care needs:)

I came to VCA Venice for the offer of a free first visit. I'm staying with VCA Venice because they're freaking awesome.
From the moment I arrived, they made my cat and I feel welcome and at home. I waited very briefly to be seen by Dr. Stout, who was outstanding. She spent her time with us to get to know us. She explained her reasoning for her thoughts on treatment options for my cat. She answered every question I had with patience and a clearly in depth knowledge of her field.

I've been going to VCA Venice Boulevard for nearly 20 years when it used to be called PetVille. It was also a VCA Animal Hospital. I have had wonderful veterinarians over the years and was heartbroken when my last vet left, Dr Robert Goldman, who was really special. He recommended that I continue on with Dr Farrar, and he really knew what he was talking about. I've had several appointments with her and she really knows her stuff. I found her to be professional, patient and kind, taking the time to answer all of my questions and concerns after my dog Layla had to have a biopsy. They have wonderful office staff and the techs are great as well. They always spoil my dog. The bottom line.....they love animals there and they show it!
