VCA Venture Animal Hospital

Needed to find a new vet for my dog, Sadie after moving to Los Angeles. After my first visit, I am convinced I made the right choice! Their lobby is so nice and has a unique layout that promotes a comfortable space for people and their pets. Right off, Teri, the CSR was amazing. She came right over to us and was so sweet with Sadie. As we waited for our appointment, I watched her make her way around to every single pet parent in the lobby. She clearly makes it a point to build relationships and make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. We saw Dr. Zovata and she was so great with Sadie. She was friendly and gentle with her and even though Sadie was nervous. She took her time and addressed all my concerns for the appointment. Andrew, the tech was very helpful and efficient. He explained everything to us, got her vaccines done super fast and even let us know we could contact him at the clinic throughout the day if there were any issues. This is a great team and I look forward to seeing them again in the future!

Every doctor that has seen my pets (I have a senior cat and a large dog) has been great. They clearly love animals, and they take the time to listen to what’s going on with them and then discuss treatment options. They provide a cost estimate that you review before they move forward with any tests or treatments. Appointment scheduling is easy, and I have been able to get seen quickly. There’s an app that you can use to view invoices and medical records, and you can message providers who respond promptly. Honestly, my animals get better medical care here than I’ve been able to get anywhere in LA. If these vets treated humans, I would sign up.

They always are very communicative. Very nice newly renovated lobby. We had a terrific experience recently with Dr. Pearl Chen who was extremely caring and helpful in taking care of our nervous dog, Banzo. Thank you everyone who works here!

I was a little ambivelent about continuing to take my pets to this location, but I've been extremely happy with the level of care my cats have received in the last year. The staff are friendly and professional, and Dr. Chen, in particular, is amazing. She truly cares about her patients, and her follow through from beginning to end, with each treatment, continues to be extraordinary. Thank you, VCA. :)

We have taken our animals to this VCA for years. Checkups, Questions, Emergencies etc. Everyone there clearly loves and cares for their patients as though their own. A very bright, clean, warm facility. We appreciate everyone there.

They have been taking care of our big boy for 5 years now. Never a bad moment, always caring and transparent. We are staying loyal because even in emergencies we haven't received 20% of the same care.

I can’t say enough amazing things about VCA Venture! Not only is the staff super friendly (shout out to Alexis and Jazmin!), but everything gets done very quickly and efficiently, and I’m always informed of everything my pet needs. Plus the office looks AMAZING! The lounge is beautiful and very welcoming, complete with coffee and beverages for visitors. Great service from the time I walked in until I left. My dog was treated gently and got care she needed

Staff and facility was great! I got a free wellness check certificate when I adopted my cat from the San Diego Humane Society. Thankfully it worked at any vca location, not just the ones in San Diego.

Dr. Wolf was a great veterinarian. There also was a vet tech who was super sweet with my cat, Chip, as well. They weren’t rushing anything and helped answer questions I had. Front desk agent was kind as well.

Facility was very clean and calming.

I did call back asking a question because I was concerned about a broken nail, and the receptionist said they’d leave a message for Dr. Wolf, but I never heard back. I wish there was an easier way to contact the vet to see if I need to come in. I used the VCA app to chat with a professional, but the vet tech online just said I should call my vet.

The best doctors I have seen! They really care about your animals in the front desk is absolutely phenomenal. the prices are reasonable they will work with you and most importantly the facility is clean and just a calm place for your animals to be. Could not recommend this enough Dr Campbell is awesome Jessica the front desk is fantastic and everyone here is just on top of their game all the time.

They truly will love and care for your pet. These people rock.

The staff here has been extremely patient with my dog. We have been bringing him here since we got him at 8 weeks and have always had a pleasant experience. In September 2021, at 8 months old, our dog was traumatized at a doggy daycare (LA Dogworks) and developed some fear based aggressive behaviors. Afterwards, it became more difficult for him to be at the vet but they just keep providing us with more options for precautions to take prior to the visit. We've had to leave the facility without having his procedure done twice now and every time, I become terribly stressed and overwhelmed. However, I am beyond thankful for the staff and how understanding and empathetic they have been towards us and our dog. I don't know how I would be able to deal with this situation if the staff hadn't been so supportive of us. You guys are amazing. Thank you so much!

Just called after i found a brand new stray cat. Elisa had such good sweet demeanor. Helped me a lot find possible resources. I'm sure she's even more helpful in person.

I had a really positive experience bringing my pet here. The staff was very caring.

They are the absolute sweetest! They were very understanding and willing to work with me despite the fact that I ended up being unprepared for my appointment, allowed me to bring in paperwork later and even provide them with information later to add to my kittens file. They were super accommodating with appointments and flexible with getting my kittens in when they needed their vaccinations.

The receptionist, Aria, was super helpful and friendly. As any pet owner knows, it’s pretty expensive taking your dog to the vet. When I spoke with Aria on getting an appointment for my dog and what is needed, she was helpful, informative, and I never felt pressure to have to do any test or felt like they were trying to make me spend my money. I also told her how I had an anxious dog around other pets and she assured me that they will prepare for our visit so he goes straight into a room to avoid any conflicts. They genuinely care about the well being of my dog and I truly appreciate that. She was also very flexible with my appointment and found a date that works for me schedule. Thank you Aria!

Everyone is friendly and helpful, and we have never had a bad experience with any of the vets here. I appreciate that they always give you a full itemized breakdown of costs and good explanations for what to prioritize if you're on a budget.

Granted, I arrived for my first experience here after the morning push at 3pm on a work day...
so it was “calm”.
However, what a great experience either way!
Everyone, techs, doctors and even patients were so interested in the pets and just sweet!
The receptionist vet tech was very informative and patient with myself and others. She even took time after my visit to explain the bill and next visit even though she was clearly busier than when I arrived.
The doctor, Dr. Campbell, was phenomenal! So kind, thoughtful, informative and even sat on the floor with my new pup to inspect her. I didn’t feel rushed or as if the visit for routine puppy worms and check up was beneath her time. They handled three specific new puppy issues all in that visit, efficiently and effectively. She stayed in the visit with us for the full and very helpful exam for what felt like 45 mins.
That was the difference for me at this VCA, everyone seemed as if they really enjoyed the animals and truly “cared for your pets as if they were your own!” I will be going back and a life LA long customer!!! Thank you! 🙏

I had a really great first-time experience with Dr. Laura Campbell. She really took her time with me and my kitty and I felt that she was very honest and trustworthy, not to mention great with the fuzzy ones! She was able to detect an important detail about my cat (her age) that at least three vets before her missed, and she was very patient about answering all of my questions. So glad she's my new vet!

My dog gets excellent care here. Appointments book out one or two weeks ahead of time. Sometimes you can get a last minute appointment if there's a cancellation, but they don't take walk ins. My dog is very timid and afraid at the vet, but they are really great with him.
