I had the Lavender, coconut chocolate, and 2 Banana Nutella cupcakes 🧁 I could eat a dozen 🤣🤣 I am shameless about food 😋.

The cupcakes are incredible, they are extremely delicious. The cake pops are equally tasty and at a reasonable price. The service is fast and the people are extremely welcoming. The place itself is very clean. I was able to try the Cookies & Cream cupcake and the Red Velvet cake pop. Both had a unique taste and were very enjoyable. They also have many different varieties of pastries along with ice creams. They represent the flavors uniquely. The only downside would be the temperature in the store which tends to be very hot.

I've been coming here for about 3 years now and I have consistently been pleased w/the quality and presentation of their cupcakes. I appreciate that they aren't too sweet and that they aren't dry. The lemon lavender is my favorite flavor cupcake there. Joy and Sweets also does custom orders so if you're looking for a place look here.

My overall experience with Joy and Sweets was 10/10! The service was excellent, the communication was so appreciated since I was always on the go and the email communication was great and on time. The cake and cake pops were so good. The guests loved how moist and delicious the cake was and also the cake pops. I will definitely be ordering from this place again. The price was also great. You get your money’s worth.

We've long enjoyed the delicious cupcakes and ice cream here and had the chance to celebrate our kiddo's birthday party as she's really into baking. Atti was gracious and enthusiastic leading the cupcake and cake pop decorating that the kids got to decorate themselves and take home. No need for a birthday cake😉. Easy parking is a huge plus. Thanks for making it a special event full of memories!🩷🧁

My new go-to local bakery! My daughter wanted cupcakes for her baby shower. We were planning an “Under the Sea” theme to welcome her little mer-baby. After reaching out to several places with no response, I found Joy and Sweets. Communicating with Amanda, the owner, was a breeze. She worked with me to design the perfect cupcake. Not only did they look good, but they were absolutely delicious. Moist and dense with a delicious frosting that wasn’t too sweet or overpowering. I’m not a cake person but these were wonderful. And our guests were so impressed with how they looked. Can’t wait to try their macaroons!

Gave a 5 for presentation however the cupcakes were very dry. Frosting was good. Customer service I would give a 3.

Very friendly and easy to order a birthday cake from out of town. Ready for pickup when they said it would be. They did spell my son’s name wrong though.

The highlight of our special celebration! Joy and Sweet generously donated cupcakes and macaroons as dessert for Ryman Arts' fundraiser in Marina del Rey in support of arts education in Southern California. Not only were they almost too beautiful to eat, but they also tasted heavenly. Not one morsel was left at the end of the night. Thank you to the Atti and the Joy and Sweets team for making our fundraiser filled with joy and sweets!

This review is for two dozen cupcakes I ordered for a 30th birthday party.

The new owner Atefah very graciously waited for me to pickup my order a few minutes after closing. She gave me a variety of cupcakes as I requested, leaning heavy on red velvet because it's the birthday boy's favorite. Everyone at the party loooved the cupcakes. They are perfectly balanced in sweetness as well as cake to frosting ratio. I also really enjoyed the density of the cake. My favorite cupcakes in order are Birthday Cake, Cookies & Cream, and Red Velvet.

Atefah and her staff at Joy and Sweets were very friendly and accommodating throughout the whole process. The shop is also conveniently located in Culver City just off the 405, 90, or 10, depending on where you're coming from. It's situated right next to Target, Sally's, CVS, Starbucks, TJ Max, and many other shops in a big parking lot, so easy to get all the errands done at once. I highly recommend this local cupcake shop!

We got the best macarons cupcakes and cake pops for my grandsons baby shower! All of the guests loved them, especially my granddaughter she ate as much macarons as she could. I would recommend joy and sweets to anyone who likes desserts.

This place has THEE best cupcakes in LA( don’t argue) consistently moist and delicious and not overly sweet. I’m personally not a fan of frosting on any cake so I take most of it off but the flavor of both the frosting and cake is just right you don’t need much frosting at all. I had passed this place by so many times when they first opened as I shop at the Target next door. So glad I wandered in on one of my Target runs I will be a customer for as long as they are in business as cupcakes are my sweet tooth guilty pleasure of choice and no other place compares. All of the ladies are friendly and the decor is super cute and everything looks very clean. My faves are ... well pretty much all the flavors it’s hard to choose so I switch it up but I always need one vanilla and one chocolate to go with one of the other special flavors that they make. I buy everyone I know these cupcakes for Birthdays. I wish they made cakes for special occasions maybe one day!

Cupcakes for Grown-ups
This cute little shop is a hidden gem, nestled in the corner of a mall. The Shoppe itself is spotless and the display case was stocked with a selection of yummy looking cupcakes, cake pops and brownies. The owner greeted us with a big smile, and gave us lots of options when we explained what we needed. The cupcakes were ready on time, beautifully presented and they were absolutely moist and scrumptious. Kids would love them , of course, but I served these to people who are used to much fancier deserts. Needless to say, they were a big hit!. I plan on visiting again soon for a little "fix" of my own! They also had gelato and coffee. Highly recommended!

I have super high standards when it comes to cake and they do not disappoint! I bake gluten free from time to time, so I'm quite familiar with many indicators that something is gluten free and I didn't know these were until I noticed a sign and asked about it. The ladies who work here are wonderful and so are the cupcakes and macarons! Seriously, perfection!

I needed some custom cupcakes and Joy and Sweets was able to provide high quality products on a short deadline! The cupcakes were delicious and adorable.

Like another customer mentioned, I've walked by this bakery for over a year but decided to go in and check it out. Not a macaroon person, I decided to buy some for the guys at work, but I also decided to try one and what a surprise. They were moist and the filling was amazing. One of my coworkers who is also not a macaroon person loved them.

I decided to go because I needed a sweet gift for SOMEONE SPECIAL

I walked in and was immediately greeted by a smiling face.

The decor has a Sterile WITH A 1950 feel to it. All white, which makes the colorful cupcakes and macaroons pop. They actually share the space with IMC coffee. Both places have a very calming and soothing vibe. Plenty of free parking too...

I had a hard time deciding what to get but my server was patient. I got the double chocolate cupcake, red velvet cupcakes and the heart shaped brownie. They were packaged in the cutest little white box with a gold string ribbon.

They are reasonably priced.

I ended leaving the cupcakes and brownie at home on accident. I was so glad I did. The cupcakes were amazing. The brownie was perfection. made with quality ingredients and fresh. The cashier told me everything is made on-site.

I will for sure be a return customer.

The cupcakes, all gluten free, are SUPER delicious. Light, flavorful and sweet. Top notch. The macarons are also quite good, not perfect (I've had insane macarons across many countries), but good. I'll definitely go back when in the area.
