Sol Y Mar Mariscos Restaurant Bell Gardens

I was driving by and decided to stop by for taco Friday. The fish tacos were only $1.00. I ordered six tacos, plus I got chips and salsa.
They were not bad. The waitress was nice so I left 30% tip.

Always drove by and happy that we decided to actually go. The salsa for the chips was really good, I requested they bring some more. The taco de pulpo a la diabla was delicious, first time having it and loved it. The molcajete de res, was great too, the salsa, carne and nopales all on point. The pollo tampiqueño, was delicious, tender chicken, rajas side perfect as a topper for the chicken, and enchiladas seemed like homemade tortillas. Good miche's! I'd stop by if in the area.

Amazing. Food and services takes a little long because it is always full but definitely worth the wait. Staff is very friendly and it gives a very homie vibe. They play music so it isn't all quiet. Came here by accident the first time and loved it. Come here for all special occasions now. Food is a little pricey but they give a lot so it kind of evens out. The seating is outside bit still has a roof so you get a natural breeze.

The fish tacos are delicious I can't wait to try the rest of the food.

I needed a really good place to eat a meal for lunch, and this place did not disappoint! I don't speak Spanish fluently, but I did my best and the staff was very patient with me lol! I had their mimosas with fish & shrimp platter. IT WAS DELICIOUS! The salsa was great as well. I must mention how freshly prepared everything was including the orange juice for the mimosas.... lots of pulp, which I prefer. Again the food & staff were great! Check it out!

I love them oyster shots, there $4.25 for 1 and for 6 total $25, worth the price.

The fish tacos are so good.
The mayo sauce with shredded cabbage and a chile on the side really add flavor to the taco.
They are 99 cents every Tuesday and Friday.
This is my first time here, and I will definitely come back next Friday. Good price and good tacos. YUM!!!

The food was great! Will definitely be back. They charge 4% for using a credit/debit card, so bring cash to avoid the extra fees.

Fast service yet it's always busy we still get out on time while on our 1 hr lunch break.

Everything was Delicious as ALWAYS! Seafood SO FRESH! Enchiladas also Delictable and Yummy. Beer was cold and the weather was beautiful! The only thing missing was the ocean breeze and view of the Sand and shore where Eastern is! An Awesome little Get Away! If you close your eyes and take a bite, you'll never know you aren't vacationing on a beach in Mexico! 😎💕

One of the best restaurant that was also in paramount untill the change ownership it's sad that they did but I will surely travel to bell gardens for there food sol y mar mariscos I will surely recommend this restaurant to everyone..

Nery is the best server there. She was helpful, charasmatic, funny and has the best attitude and offers the greatest customer service. She made me change the idea I had about this place because of the experiences I had previously with other servers.

They actually make Fish and Shrimp Tacos like they do in BAJA. AMAZING! I can not wait to come back again.

This a good place is not busy and the prices are good . Food is average!
