The best place for a craft beer in the south bay! $4 draft beers during happy hour and weekly rotating local draft beers make it the best value you get across the Beach Cities! Ask to sample a few and enjoy a pint or two.

Staff was all very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable across all beer and food options. We particularly like the 3 for 2 Runts/Green Runts happy hour deal and Taco Tuesdays ($5 for 2 tacos). Haven't had an entree yet but will definitely be back to try based on the good tacos and Runts.

Nice and unique indoor and outdoor seating options with old spools as well. All helps create the laid-back and friendly atmosphere of the bar. Also a block off the strand and pier so don't get too many tourists either. And LOVE all the octopus paintings!

Everything was amazing! The service was really great, the tacos were exceptional (small, but in an adorable, tapas way), and I FINALLY found a beer I liked (and I hate beer). I highly recommend the fish tacos and the mango beer!

Got the recommendation on Google Maps and decided to check this place out. We were glad we did. Perfect chill beach vibe. Outdoor patio. Football on in the background, but not obnoxious. Laid back crowd and friendly staff that know their stuff. The beer list is big enough to offer variety without being overwhelming. The food was absolutely on point - we stuck to the runts menu, and three plates was enough for two to share. It's not right in the beach, but if you sit in the right spot, you can get an ocean view. Really nothing bad to say; highly recommend!

Simply amazing! Staff was short for the day but we didn’t even notice, we felt more than cared for. Food was to die for, should be featured on everything that will feature it! We both got flatbreads, but with the quality we received I’d bet the whole menu was just as awesome, can’t wait to come back.
Oh! Ask them about their tap options as well, each one comes from separate and local breweries.

This may be my new go-to bar near the HB pier. Not boisterous like the bars a block to the north. The live band had good tunes and played at a volume that still allowed you to converse. The brews and food were definitely decent. Great outdoor space with room for yard game stuff.

Great place. The food is “sharing” size and we ordered three between two. A perfect amount. Lots of great beer as well and awesome service.

Soft open after the pandemic and the entire staff was helpful, friendly, inviting and kind. New outside dinning is perfect for families and friends to gather to enjoy the weather, drinks and food.

I always take people here - close to the beach, good food to share, good drink selection, quick service, friendly staff, dog friendly, outdoor patio. Pier Ave is packed, come here!
