Watched helplessly as my wife delivered our second child. Everybody at St. Joe’s is great, especially the labor/delivery, NICU, and post-partum staff.

I awoke at 2:00 Monday morning with the worst stomach ache EVER. It hurt worse than birthing my 8 lb. son. I stayed in bed, waiting for the pain to subside, but it did not. I could barely move and could not get comfortable. Add to that severe nausea, causing me to vomit several times. I had no idea what was wrong, but I suspected maybe food poisoning. It wasn't that. My daughter took me to St. Joseph's hospital, where they did a CT scan and an ultrasound. The doctors determined that it was my gall bladder, and it needed to come out pronto. So, Wednesday morning I had the first surgery of my life. That went well, and the gall bladder is now history, bye bye birdie! I want to publicly thank the exceptional staff of St. Joseph's, from the doctors who made the right call, to the surgeon who removed the offending body part, to the nurses who took good care of me from start to finish, and even the maintenance man who plunged the toilet in my room. My undying respect and admiration for you dedicated health care people goes on and on. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I was treated really well and I noticed that the nurses were knowledgeable, engaged, and compassionate! Like Nurses on Steroids! The team in the room that I had my angiogram was like a finely tuned piece of equipment they worked together for a good experience for my benefit and I totally appreciated their efforts. They answered any questions I had, and I always have questions. I would totally be comfortable going back to Saint Joseph’s even the parking was good Valet parking

I had an outpatient’s surgery yesterday for Bronchoscopy at your Medical Center.
It was a top rated experience from check in, pre surgery, surgery to recovery.
Everyone could not have done more for professional service, informed explanations, genuine caring and cheerfulness!

I want to point out the exceptional detailing on what would happen, when and timelines.

Her name is Dr. Medepalli, and I can’t thank her enough for her skill and easing my nerves re surgery!

I also high five my 2 nurses in pre op!!
So through, friendly and skilled!

I also want to thank the lady mid age with short blonde hair!!

Her skill and caring and those 2 added warm blankets in recovery mean a lot to me!

I will never forget any of them!

Many thanks St. Joe’s!!
Also loved the free parking. :)

Great hospital. Great experience. Awesome nurses, they were their for you at all times. You didn't feel like you were left in a room somewhere no where to be found. Loved it. I would highly recommend this hospital, definitely going back and recommending thus hospital to others! Great hospitality. Everyone was super nice and informative.

Came in today with some knee pains that’s been going on since Thursday. The ER room was empty! Nurses and doctors were very friendly, gave me Tylenol for pain and got me a x ray in a timely manner, along with my results which was tendonitis. Much love to the crew here!!! 🙏🏽❤

I had an appointment for a Prolia shot. The staff was polite and professional in their tasks. I was surprised about the professionalism demonstrated by all. Their process seemed very involved. Having to go the the Outpatient Infusion Center, I had to ask if their Prolia was an injection. I expected a simple shot, so wondered if their process was different than getting a shot. After the process was completed, I felt very good about the comfortable setting and professionalism.

My wife had an unplanned c-section performed by Richelle Olsen. She was very kind and proficient. She always seemed unrushed and present. We felt comfortable and very satisfied with her care.

We also spent 2 weeks in the NICU in both the Level II Continue Care Rooms and Level III Intermediate Care Rooms Pod C. I can't speaking highly enough about the care we received while there. We had close to 20 nurses and were impressed with with all but 1. After our experience, I have a lot of respect for the NICU nurse team, Charge Nurse, and head of the team. They were personal with us, remembering lots of little details even after not seeing us for a few days. One of the nurses bought us a book to read to our son. The team was confident and competent in there care as well. I told my wife, I wish one or both of our parents were NICU nurses. What could be better than grandparents who were/are NICU nurses? They take nominations for Daisy awards and I thought about writing one up, but they were all pretty exceptional and the whole team deserves it. I don't know how anyone builds a team of so many amazing people.

Those were two highlights, but honestly all but a couple of interactions throughout the hospital were exceptional. I left impressed by the care we received here.

I waited several hours in the ER, but my injury was not life threatening and I was stable. The staff was very nice and professional, even while dealing with a hair raising issue where the pt left the ER , snuck back in, was defiant and verbal with staff who were working hard to find him a ride home. Dude disappeared for a few and ended up carjacking someone outside. Staff and patients were safe and secure thanks to security and intervention from the nurses. Great job all. Don’t mind waiting my turn in such a crazy environment. Kudos to you all for keeping your cool.

When we have an appt etc at St Joe's hospital I find all the nurses, staff, doctors etc to be so nice and friendly. Their always so helpful with things. The kind staff and nurses in the heart center went out of their way to make sure our needs were met and we knew where to go. It makes our appt so much better because of their patience and kindness. Wonderful experience.

My nurses were exceptional. Ruthy and Mary. Anesthesiologist also was awesome. Surgeon Donion did a fabulous job and I expect to recover very smoothly. Thanks to all at St Joes for a positive medical experience.

My Physical Therapist at Outpatient Services, Candice, has been excellent in every aspect of guiding me through this work, working with me in specific problem areas for me, and explaining this working process and my progress in detail and response to my questions. I think she has been exceptional and I made good progress with effective results which in great part is due to her dedicated efforts. I did not feel confident I could make progress but through her kind and professional instruction and focus on difficulties for me, I ended up doing very well. And it made all the difference, thanks to her patient assistance.

I was experiencing chest pain and a breathing problem. I was seen immediately and treated with respect and dignity. Thankfully, the episode was only a severe panic attack. I appreciate the nurses and doctor who took my concerns seriously.

A large gash on my arm from a fall down the stairs sent me to the University Place Urgent care. The moment I entered, I was promptly seen by a doctor, nurse and X-ray technician. They were kind and efficient.

The staff was amazing andDr. Schleichert was the best! I was supposed to be in the hospital 2-5 days and I got to go home within 24 hours. Everytime ive had a surgery it seems like someone is in and out of your room all night long and you never get any sleep. I actually got some rest after my surgery. The nurses kept my pain under control and everyone was very attentive.
