Great sandwiches on great bread. The Italiano is pictured. Friend let me try the P.L.T and while it was good the bun-to-contents ratio wasn’t great so it didn’t feel like the best value. For sure coming back to try more sandwiches. Coffee wasn’t a showstopper for me like the sandwich was but it was still a good cup I’d order again next time.

They had a ton of staff for both the beverages and sandwiches so everything came out very quickly. They stay on top of rushes very well it seems.

Lavender breve is delicious. It tastes like real lavender. I had no idea what a breve was - but it’s creamy, flavorful and still gives you a taste of coffee. There is always a line but your order still comes out quickly. Limited seating indoor and out, more of a grab and go kind of place. Family friendly- always children with their parents when i’m here.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops! The iced lattes are amazing and the toast is even better. The line can be a bit long on weekends, but moves quickly. Highly recommend the lavender and honey toast and the Pasadena toast!

Friendly staff and fast service. They have gluten free cookies! There are other delicious bakery items as well.

Their lavender breve is SO GOOD. I would have it again but next time I’ll have it in the morning. The inside of the coffee shop is very cute. They offer a lot of other merchandise, too. There is an outdoor area which is a great spot during spring and fall.

Firstly, I enjoyed the vibe in this place -- very comfortable, even if it's slightly cramped. The space isn't TOO small, but if there was 10 less square feet it would be. The decor is nice and cohesive, and it feels deliberate. There's a nice selection of coffee-shop accouterments it peruse, along with some tasty looking food items to take home.

There's a good a amount of seating here considering the size of the place. There's a patio with 4 tables and some umbrellas, and some indoor accommodations, as well, although, those are a bit more intimate. Everything was relatively clean considering the amount of traffic in the shop, and at the tables, while I was there.

The service was prompt and friendly. Everyone behind the counter was masked, which I appreciated. Everyone was in a good mood and seemingly happy to be doing what they were doing, which added to the pleasant ambiance.

I ordered an iced Chai tea and an Italiano sandwich. The drink was ready almost instantly with the sandwich not following too far behind. As far as the quality, everything was outstanding. The iced Chai was delicious, and the sandwich was worth revisiting to experience again. The bread was particularly memorable!

The last couple of things I think are worth mentioning are regarding the parking, and the prices. The parking is tight and the lot is seemingly shared with the surrounding businesses. I wouldn't be expecting to find a space if you're coming during peak hours, so keep that in mind. Also, it's not the cheapest place ever, but I genuinely feel that you get what you pay for but it's worth noting.

Overall, this place was very, very good and I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area. I'll be back again soon!

i decided to go a little out of my way and visit this location for a cup of cold brew and i was pleasantly surprised as to how good it was. the service was extremely quick and i'd definitely return. it's on a quiet street in a nice part of North Pasadena. i didn't purchase a breakfast bread but the ones displayed in the window sure looked delicious.

I stumbled upon this coffee shop on my way to a neighboring restaurant and I’m so glad that I did. The coffee was absolutely delicious and the toast was good.

My iced cinnamon creamed honey latte with oat milk was divine! I’d come back just for that.

My only critique is that the toast slices should be thicker to accommodate the amount of goat cheese and jam they put on top. The bread to topping ratio is off.

They also sell an assortment of goodies at the front of the cafe.

The lattes are REALLY good and sandwiches are fantastic - delicious and quality ingredients! Really cute cafe with lovely staff. :) Absolutely love coming here!

Sweet staff, expanded kitchen with a sandwich menu I get to explore next time, cold-brew was nutty and smooth, drip coffee was exceptional. I'm a sucker for exotic chocolate bars and beautiful packaging as a designer so treated myself.

This place is great. Coffee and lattes are amazing. Even the drip coffee is good. I got a late to go and they still did a heard foam art for me and let me appreciate it before covering it with a cap. It is little things like that than brighten your day and it is very much appreciated.

One warning however. This place is EXTREMELY popular. I went I at 10 on a Saturday and it was at least 30 minute from when I got at the back of the long line till I was appreciating the latte foam art.

Still give it a try especially at an off time.

The coffee was delicious and so was the gift section. The jam we purchased was made in a home kitchen, we also bought sourdough. Great food and customer service.

Best double espresso in a long while. Robust, strong, aromatic and foamy just like how the Italians do it. Real ceramic cup experience.Plenty of outdoor seating. Very European.

This Wildflower Matcha Latte with oatmilk was a delightful treat during my stay in Altadena. I also went home with a delicious lemon blueberry jam. Employees are so friendly and eager to explain and answer questions.

My mom and I stopped in here on a rainy day before our visit to the Norton Simon. I got the L&H toast (lavender, honey, and goat cheese) and it was super delicious. My mom got peanut butter, honey, and banana toast which she thought was really good as well. I also got an iced brown sugar latte and added a little cinnamon - super yummy! Really decent prices for the quality of the food and the coffee.

I always love when a coffee place serves tea lattes (with whichever tea you choose!). The toasts were also good, but a little pricey.

I liked the service and the drinks! We got 5 different ones and they were all very nice! The only thing that I did not like was the parking. My favorite was the French lavender breve. Nothing was too sweet or too bitter.

Seating outside for coffee and a snack is fantastic. Just a small tip, when you order food, make sure you check back with the staff inside. They make no effort to call you that your food or snacks are ready.....they are totally consumed with after hours conversation to let it sit on their counter. But that's fine, you have legs that can travel.

My girl and I went for a small bite we found this amazing place with amazing and friendly service, we will definitely go back some other day , and highly recommend this spot to anyone who is looking forward to try a nice sandwich and a cup of coffee
