Sofia's Mexican Restaurant

Right across from Roscoe's is excellent little Mexican restaurant. The vibe was really good. I went here almost by accident that's all that they were having specials on talking so for like a buck 30 I got a shrimp taco which was absolutely delicious, even though if it was fried more that I normally like. The service was absolutely delightful. I'll be back for the chilaquiles. RIP little Sophia 😢

all the different dishes are so flavorful, an amazing place to sample different types of mole. I really enjoyed both their red and green mole sauces.

Incredible. Not the spot if you're looking for cloth napkins and waiters with a wine list, but real hole-in-the-wall energy with great folks and great food.

Walked by feeling like I wanted a breakfast burrito so I went inside. Greeted by a very friendly woman who took my order to go. Sat down to wait for my food which only took maybe five minutes to freshly prepare. Thanked her and started to head on my way. This breakfast burrito was delicious! I will be back sometime to try more!

Pastor tacos are the best here. The meat is so good!!!! Will def come back. Theres space to sit, very neighborhood feel.

Yum... adobo, birria, green chili... all homemade and delicious. Their red salsa is delish, and they have a green one that is homemade and excellent, too.
